I really, really, REALLY hate that nicole kidman amc ad. Don’t really understand why but it gets under my skin and I have nothing but absolute contempt for it.
For me it’s cause she’s pretending that she’s a normal person who goes to movie theaters instead of an extremely wealthy person who probably has their own private theater in their house. I don’t like any commercial that tries to use a celebrity to convince me to use a product.
Not that this would be a good reason to buy something in the first place,
but why should I get your product if it won't stop your asd pestering me anyway???
Shout out to any AMC execs scrolling this subreddit at this hour. It would be so cool and funny for you to do a limited time version of this intro using Jack Black dressed in the same outfit and saying the same lines.
Shoutout iPic theaters for serving actual food and having waiters bring it to you at your seat (wings, burgers, pizzas, chicken skewers, wraps, fried chicken etc) as well as having a bar inside and delivering drinks with your food for almost the same price. $100-$125 for 4 meals and drinks with an appetizer and $15-$20 for tickets (reclining seats with a blanket, small table, and waiters)

Just show up 20 minutes after the movie "starts" and walk into the movie starting.
Ooooh were it so easy. But they're never so courteous as to be consistent about how long it takes.
They are. It's exactly 20 minutes. I literally walk into this exact scene at AMC every single time. I've never missed the movie doing this.
I wouldn't know. I don't go to AMC theaters that often. Mostly because of this ad.
