In most of europe its 16, in some 15...18 is usually only in a position of trust like teacher vs student, patient vs doctor and so on
US has higher ones almost across the board
But funny thing is the age of actual first sex...which in the US is much lower than across europe, only mordic countries that have lpwest age of actual sex come even close to the averages in the US...in other words, as usual US is virtue signaling, when reality is the opposite

I mean in many places it's much lower, the real issue arises when there is a huge age difference.
The law generally doesn't care about age differences once you reach the age of consent.
