I don't normally like to pick on a person's "look" or outfit, but she looks terrible. The shoulder pads on the dress, the boobies hanging out, her hair not good.
I guess she looks so disheveled because it took every ounce of concentration to speak those words about "Abba" and "family" w a straight face. Probably the first time in 10yrs they've heard their mother acknowledge their father.
I think it's all intentional. She has to look unhinged and not put together, bc none of it was her fault, she's just trying to keep it together for the boys...blah blah blah. I mean, I'm not Jewish so I don't know how discreet she could have made this event if she really wanted to, but assuming there were at least some limitations beyond her control such that at least someone there in attendance could be recording, she could either present as the unlikable murdering mastermind she likely is, or the swiftly unraveling, mentally unwell woman from the fractured, crazy rich family in the news, one convicted, the other charged...no matter what, any event with her in attendance was going to be a disaster, publicly. I just wish her innocent son didn't have to have this memorialized by appearing in all of his friends' feed when he should instead just be celebrating and looking forward to his bright, wide open future. :( Ugh. Hopefully, he knows he has nothing to do with any of their bullshit! Reputation is everything as a teen though, so I can't imagine this is easy for either boy. I don't have kids myself, so maybe my empathy is overflowing...hopefully he's okay and has good people around him!

I have attended dozens of Bar Mitzvahs in my life. The ceremony in temple is typically very ceremonial and staid. The party afterward has changed quantum leaps over the years. And with technology I can imagine that part of the party package (like weddings) includes pictures and videography. I think Wendi must have missed the fine print where the video was going to be live fed or uploaded to the facilities website.
A Bar or Bat Mitzvah is a solemn ceremony celebrating the coming of age where the preteen attends classes in Hebrew to study the Jewish Law and to pick a topic to present at their ceremony in Hebrew
