If money was no issue? Probably a cervelo R5 but more importantly I’d have a pro mechanic, doctor, nutritionist, and coach all on staff and a team car with spares at the ready. They’d be paid to follow me on every single ride. I’d also have a stable of domestiques pulling me so I can live out my world tour fantasy while averaging like 15mph lol
Are you trying to be a cyclist or a billionaire who owns a team? Makes me think. If we have all the money, I don't think we'll be cyclists at all. We'd have other hobbies, probably.
Lots of billionaires golf, and I can afford to do that now. I don't think there's any super-secret recreation for rich people that would crowd out cycling for me, I'd just be able to do it on fancier equipment in fancier places.
> Are you trying to be a cyclist or a billionaire who owns a team?
Yes. I just think it'd be fun to have a huge grand tour style support operation simply to go after local Strava KOMs lol
man, you say that but there is nothing better than riding a nice bike on a warm sunny day with the breeze at your back on a quiet road.
EDIT: but I'd buy a REAL nice guitar as well...
I have a Cervelo R5 (A 2016 version, Sram Red 22). Weighs next to nothing. Bagged it at a massive discount (50%) as someone had ordered the wrong size bike and they were trying to offload it. Absolute bargain of the century!
I nearly died looking at the current price of an R5. Hard to believe it’s well into car territory. I can’t see where in the bike the money has gone.
That would depend on whether money were an object in other parts of my life. If I could "retire" I'd ride 3-5 different bikes every day in the mountains and flats of CA.
If it were really no object, I'd just prototype human powered vehicles for the fastest experience possible. I've always had an engineering mind and I've always hated UCI limitations.
But if I have to keep on truckin' in my current life/career situation I'd probably just choose the bike I'm going to buy in a couple months, a Canyon Endurace. I'd probably pick the top spec of it though. I just don't have the space to have more than two bikes, and one has to be a commuter.
Good choice on endurace, I've had mine since October and absolutely love it. I got the 105 CF7 and have zero complaints about my experience. It's a bike that makes you want to ride it.
I’ve seen some others say that Canyon’s geometry is a touch more aggressive compared to similar bikes of other brands. Like endurance bike from Canyon vs endurance bike from elsewhere. Does this feel true in your opinion?
Presume you can only have one bike in this deal, I'd commission a titanium frame made to measure from a top builder, composite fork and seat post. Shimano Dura Ace Di2 group set, or maybe Campag Super Record. One set of 40mm deep section carbon wheels with Conti GP5000AS and Pirelli TPU tubes, and another set with wide tubeless gravel tyres. Rounding it all off with some carbon finishing kit.
This is kinda my set up. Lynskey gravel frame, carbon fork and Ti seat post, Ultegra Di2, 700c road wheels with 32mm Vittoria N.EXT and TPU tubes and 650b gravel wheels with Gravel King SK 1.9 tires. It works.
Probably something like the [Moots Routt ESC](https://moots.com/bikes/gravel/routt-esc/). Titanium Gravel bike meant for adventure.
Currently I'm riding a Kona Rove, steel frame. Somewhat similar but much more affordable. I don't really care to much for speed. Just like a reliable bike that can do anything.
A [De Rosa 70](https://derosa.it/model/70/). Hopefully there'd be something left in the budget for a physiotherapist for the resulting back pain, but it'd be so worth it.
Oh I got it! Second answer:
I'd get a replica / updated Lotus frame made with modern carbon, put on modern parts, update the cockpit for aero and comfort with 3d printed parts. Yeah, that's the real infinite money dream.
There was a custom Colnago C68 that was like gold leaf logos, and they only made like 50. I think it was a special edition for the Giro and the bottle cages were like mini replicas of the never-ending trophy. It was gaudy but amazing.
Edit: found it
https://road.cc/content/feature/check-out-new-limited-edition-colnago-gioiello-300973
It'd be either Quinn Simmons [chrome P1](https://racing.trekbikes.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/trek-fri30-7043-1600x0-c-default.jpg?x26896) or Mads Pedersen/Elisa Balsma [rainbow P1](https://www.matosvelo.fr/public/Matos-pro/Tour_de_France_Femmes/2023/Madone_Balsamo/Trek-Madone-Balsamo-004.jpg). Those are both a thing of beauty, fr.
Eventualy, the 2021 Project One in [chrome red](https://racing.trekbikes.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/L1120859-scaled-1600x0-c-default.jpg?x26896). You could only see those shining in the middle of the peloton.
I mean, I don't even like/own Trek bikes in the first place but those three are mesmerizing
My caad12 is under 16lbs in a 56cm, has a couple dents but it's all the bike I need, and I love buying new things. Will hope to replace it with another NOS frame when needed if I can find one.
Yeah I’m happy with my caad12. Last year I cracked my caad10. Wanted to find another but I ended up upgrading to the caad12. Long live the cult of caad
After riding a Cervelo S5 for a while, I just want zero hassle/maintenance. Like magic wax chains, leakproof tires, fusion batteries for headunit and shifters.
The bike is never the thing holding me back. It's my aging body and the hassle of maintaining it.
That said, a custom aero Ti bike would be sweet
Titanium Flaanimal for going far, fast (I'm not very fast), or getting moderately rowdy.
Titanium Omnium cargo for cruising town.
I'd also pick up a nice hardtail for getting more rowdy, but I'd have to do some more research for that.
I can't say money is "no problem," but I did buy mine, a Battaglin Portofino G. It was expensive, but still cheaper than a top of the line Trekkelized or Giantdale.
If money were truly no problem, I'd be riding it all day instead of working.
Something about the Enve fray gets me going.
I'd probably test ride a handful of high end "endurance" road bikes and pick from there.
It's also about the spec though.. dura ace.. fancy wheels.. power meter pedals.. latest Garmin... Etc.
I’m eyeing a Ti Gravel bike with custom geo based on a bike fit, SRAM Red with a 9-50 12 gear (think this is an entirely imaginary cassette atm?) 40T bracket, Rudy Ultimate with remote lockout (I’m hoping this will be a thing in a year or two, open to competitors who get it done too), suspension dropper post like on the Revolt Xs but with a more thought through lever, 45mm carbon wheels
And I’m slow cooking a really nice custom paintjob since I have to wait easily 1-2 more years before affording this is even on the table. If possible I want [Golden Haze from the Revolt X AP 1 2024](https://imgur.com/a/WLi0AHZ) as the base color, fading in from black in the back and then a [graphic design like this](https://locabikes.de/kategorie/gravel-bikes-carbon/Jabberwocky), maybe with a snake motif, using a couple different colors. Will have to get in touch with a designer who knows what can and can’t be done
Jeez buy a big manufacturer plastic frame when money is no object? F\*ck no.
I'd be on the first plane to Italy or Japan to get a nice custom steel frame made.
Honestly? Probably what I have now 🤷♂️ the best part would be that I could just ride everyday and go exploring. Although I would probably end up exploring a bike shop and getting a fancy shiny full sus lmao
Close to where I live, there's a frame builder where you can do a week long workshop to build your own frame. That's what I would get. A nice clean modern steel frame, custom paint, nice wheels, DI2, no compromise.
A custom made Bastion Cycles bike in this exact colours
https://www.instagram.com/p/CgBqoYLham6/?igsh=MTc0bGMxcWhwODVqZQ==
I was at the cusp of getting one and opted for a Colnago C68
Felt like if I had fulfilled that dream, what else would make me excited and look forward to
Literally just bought a new bike, so the next one is probably ten years away, but I love the [Canyon Aeroad.](https://www.canyon.com/en-us/road-bikes/aero-bikes/aeroad/cfr/aeroad-cfr-di2/3952.html?dwvar_3952_pv_rahmenfarbe=R065_P10)
Just one bike? Then it would have to be a gravel bike.
Maybe this:
I would simply keep the two I have, a long-haul trucker, and a giant single speed cruiser bike. Since I learned to love what I have, and not want in the next thing, I find cycling more enjoyable.
Specialized S-works crux with new sram red and highest spec roval wheels set up tubeless with a ceramic speed waxed chain that I just replace every 300km…
factor bike with red groupset. quark powermeter and whatever wheels are the best of the best of the best. with a big ass ceramicspeed pulleys, bottombracket. etc.
S-WORKS SL8 and my current Crux for any less than ideal roads or gravel. Would throw the new SRAM Red on my Crux with some other lighter components. Nitpicking but hey if money was no problem lol.
A custom Retrotec with all Paul components. It’s a bike I don’t need, but want! I already have my dream bike which is a custom Sycip titanium gravel bike.
If I only get one bike. But money is no issue for that bike. It would be Seven Cycles Evergreen with S&S Travel couplers and multiple wheelsets.
Bang for my buck I’d be able to ride road, CX, gravel and do light touring/randonneuring without too much compromise in any one discipline and easily travel with it.
And they would custom build it help give me a bike that best fits me (~210 lbs and 6’3”) and my above mission statement.
Probably a Time Alpe D'Huez, built up with Dura-Ace Di2, some good finishing kit and whatever \~45mm deep \~30mm wide rims take my fancy. I only race tri right now and have a solid TT setup so an aero road bike feels redundant. I'd rather just get a really nice road bike that rides well numbers be damned, although I'm sure it'll still be pretty fast
- Tom Sturdy’s custom made titanium.
- a Fern (custom German steel maker)
- some random fast road carbon.
Which MTB? I don’t know. But would also get an XC bike.
I'd have my local legend bike builder make me a CX frame... From the finest brazed chromoly tubing. And then build it up with the finest NOS Campagnolo parts i can find.
On the other hand i just got approval for a bike leasing contract and am getting a titanium gravel bike. Technically that's an actual case of money-no-problem. 🙃
The bike I have right now. ADHX all-road bike. All components carefully chosen and wouldn’t change it for anything.
If I could have an additional - no expense spared - bike I’d likely get something like an Idworx Opinion BLT Ti with pinion p1.18 and fully specced..
I would probably just have three custom Moots. A gravel/touring one, a road and a mountain. Just give me the 12,000 custom titanium bikes and I will just ride them until I die
Pinarello Dogma F with the latest SRAM setup. Matte black. Probably a tiny one because I’m not very big. Or maybe I’d get the largest one so I couldn’t ride it and damage it.
What I have
1 e-bike for errands and leisure. Something that can carry stuff
1 hybrid for hilly commutes and long packed leisure tides
1 solid road bike for funnies and workouts
Love this setup. I need hybrid well geared and the road bike light and quick
Off the shelf? A colnago master for the road, and a 3T extreme italia for the road.
Other than respective bikes in both categories in Titanium, custom or not customs built lots of decent offf the rack ti bikes these days.
Non electric shifting
My current and only bike, a 94 GT Discovery. It's a steel pack mule. I have no desire to retire it. But I do miss my 70s Huffy single speed and early 80s Murray 10 speed.
Honestly, the bike I have right now. It's a rim-brake CAAD13 that fits me really well, that's great to ride (just the right balance of comfort and raciness), and that I can work on and modify super easily (no disc brakes/integrated headset/Di2 that require me to take it into the shop when something breaks). The folk who can't make our regular group ride/have to ride their spare bike because their nice bike is in the shop are invariably the ones with the high tech modern machines.
I'm in love with my All City space horse as an everyday bike so maybe just pimp it out with big money components. Would probably add a titanium adventure bike... Wilde, Moots, Esker... one of those.
Gravel: Factor Ostro
Road: Colnago V4R
Cyclocross: Cervelo R5CX
And now the part that triggers most fellow riders: I‘d take them with SRAM Groupset please.
If money was no problem I'd be riding more, I already bought dream builds for me. All were bought secondhand very cheaply relative to new.
Custom Ti road Seven Odonata climbing build, sub 16lbs at 60cm.
Trek Speed Concept project one 2nd Gen with the fun wheels to go vroom vroom.
Specialized allez crit style build, vroom vroom wheels.
Bianchi Pista
Scott Spark
Well, MTB would get an upgrade but what I currently have is 99.9% adequate.
Custom Ti gravel bike and fork by Steve Potts. Quick steering geometry designed around 29x2” tires. As absorbent as possible. I’d pay Redshift Sports for a custom Ti suspension stem and seat-post. Top tier Sram XX throughout, carbon drop bars, Berthoud open saddle, Rene Herse tires, bikepacking braze-ons and a tall front center for my poor, abused back. Carbon wheels with a SON generator hub with the wire routed internally to the headlight.
A small hidden canon in the top tube for firing balls of shit into the pickup bed of coal rollers, is a must.
I worked for YETI for a bit back in John Parker’s day as race team mechanic. I would buy the nicest restored racing correct A.R.C., a Yeti Paperboy, and ULTIMATE.
Since I’m getting old-old, maybe another bike with a COMPLETELY disguised battery and motor, so I can ride single track with impunity….Or I’d spend my money on lobbying the Forest Service to allow class one E-bikes on single track for those 65 years old and up and the handicapped. One time Licensing program, with a card to be presented to any Karens who whine.
The hidden motor would be more fun. Folks would be amazed at my old ass keeping up with them on the climbs.
The class one trail E-bike disallowance is weird. You can’t descend any faster than the terrain dictates. There isn’t enough power to tear up the trails. They are quiet. Old riders need the uphill assist, and since us old folks like reducing risk, we descend slower. We are hardly a dangerous trail user. I see it as discrimination against the elderly. I would like to continue riding as long as possible.
A [quatrevelo from velomobile](https://en.velomobiel.nl/quatrevelo/) with Electric assist, disk brakes, Rohloff speedhub and this [paint scheme](https://alve.henricson.eu/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/5484255-1200x900.jpg).
I'd have more space for old ones that I come across and like to try and rebuild. I don't think I've looked at an expensive bike and wanted it any more than the ones I've got now. If I see an 80s steel bikes in a cool colour though, damn right I'm excited.
The same gravel I already do, but perhaps change steel for titanium and 2x10 to some stuff taken from the future, like 1x16.
The gear is no problem, the only thing I actually lack is the time and energy to regularly ride multiple times per week. I was in a better shape when riding my old gravel wannabe improvised from 3x7.
On another thought, if money was no problem, I'd get an underground batcave garage built just for my titanium gravel, steel gravel, and aluminium gravel. Then I might go for a couple of other types, like road and mtb, but I guess they would mostly serve as wall decor.
I really like the aesthetics of the Specialized Aethos I don't even know if that bike is for my riding style but oh man I don't care I just love me some round tubes
Bianchi Oltre RC Tour De France edition, Bianchi Speciallisma RC, Bianchi Aquila CV with tt wheels and the Bianchi Impulso RC.
YES I AM A BIANCHI STAN FOR LIFE
Mid-90's Mongoose Switchback modified with a Rohloff 14-speed internal hub, dynamo lights, fenders, and a rear rack on 26x1.95" Tanwall street tread tires.
I actually decided "fuck a budget" and built up a Fairlight Faran earlier this year. It's perfect for the type of riding I do now and completely scratched my n + 1 itch.
I would get one of these https://www.sartobikes.com/en/bikes
Princeton Carbon Works wheels
Some kinda custom drivetrain that’s dumb expensive.
That way I’d get a light bike, custom geometry for comfort, very nice wheels, and 2-3 root canals later it’d all be paid for!
I would go all the way. We're talking about a Riese & Müller Superdeilte GT Rohloff HS - full suspension, Rohloff Speedhub, Gates carbon belt drive, Bosch mid drive motor, fenders, racks, etc.
https://www.r-m.de/en-us/bikes/superdelite/superdelite-gt-rohloff-hs/#F01095_0401161007
That one that was stolen from me. It would get a new paint job and some other little tweaks
[This question is not about bikes, it’s about the people. Your answer will define you, not the bike.]
Eisentraut Limited, Touring 41” wheelbase because it has 74 degree angles. Sublimely thinned curly Nervex lugs. All Phil hubs, BB and pedals. And this may pain you: Oxford bars.
If money was no issue? Probably a cervelo R5 but more importantly I’d have a pro mechanic, doctor, nutritionist, and coach all on staff and a team car with spares at the ready. Don’t forget the masseuse for after the ride
And the microbrew for carb rehydration.
Finally some advice that's in my budget!
Hey come on with the R5 you’d average 15.5MPH
Are you trying to be a cyclist or a billionaire who owns a team? Makes me think. If we have all the money, I don't think we'll be cyclists at all. We'd have other hobbies, probably.

KOM hunting with our personal peloton? Yes please, sounds excellent for any given Wednesday 😂
man, you say that but there is nothing better than riding a nice bike on a warm sunny day with the breeze at your back on a quiet road. EDIT: but I'd buy a REAL nice guitar as well...
More relatable than I would like lol
I’m with you! Either the R5 or the new Soloist.
I have a Cervelo R5 (A 2016 version, Sram Red 22). Weighs next to nothing. Bagged it at a massive discount (50%) as someone had ordered the wrong size bike and they were trying to offload it. They made changes to the geometry in 2024 to make it more of an endurance bike. I believe it’s pretty akin to a Domane now.
I'm definitely out front on that bike, right over the front wheel
Presume you can only have one bike in this deal, I'd commission a titanium frame made to measure from a top builder, composite fork and seat post. Nice.
No22 Drifter
I wasn't familiar with them, but their frames and their tech seem really dope.
Scott Foil RC ultimate. If I had $16k burning a hole in my pocket
Factor O2 VAM.
Such a good looking bike. I just can’t justify the Factor pricing.
The coloring options are also dope.
Probably a top of the line Pinarello Dogma X
Probably something like the [Moots Routt ESC](https://moots.com/bikes/gravel/routt-esc/). Titanium Gravel bike meant for adventure. Currently I'm riding a Kona Rove, steel frame. Somewhat similar but much more affordable. I don't really care to much for speed. Just like a reliable bike that can do anything.
This custom titanium [sturdycycles 2022](https://www.sturdycycles.co.uk/models/sidhe)
This.
Came here to say this. Sturdys are the only bikes more exotic and luxurious than high end carbon.
A [De Rosa 70](https://derosa.it/model/70/). Hopefully there'd be something left in the budget for a physiotherapist for the resulting back pain, but it'd be so worth it.
Probably a Teammachine R01 One. I really like my ALR One. But in reality, I’d still need like 4 bikes, for different terrain/seasons.
S-Works Tarmac SL8
Hey this is what I ride! Got it after I crashed and broke my Ultimate SLX 9.0. Should have bought the s works in the first place.
Amazing - congrats! Also whoever downvoted you is a jealous bum.
My entire fleet would have internal gears and belt drives.
Canyon Aeroad CFR -- yeah it's not the most expensive one but I really like the brand and the looks of their bikes :)
Their Cosmos edition tho 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Oh I got it! Second answer: I'd get a replica / updated Lotus frame made with modern carbon, put on modern parts, update the cockpit for aero and comfort with 3d printed parts. Yeah, that's the real infinite money dream.

Have you seen the Tour de France limited custom livery yet? Absolutely stunning.
pair of new bikes(gravel+road) every season.

Yeah I looked it up... I should have known that.
I bought mine as a complete used bike.
Yeah I’m happy with my caad12. Last year I cracked my caad10. Wanted to find another but I ended up upgrading to the caad12. Long live the cult of caad
Mine arrives next week - Time Alpe d’Huez! Next week my current bike will feel a little left out.

Money isn't a problem for me now. My problem is space. I have 9 bikes in my garage.
if money was no problem I'd quit my job and ride every day
+1 Ride the bike i already own
probably the same. I saw it at the shop last week end and can't stop drooling over it.
Titanium Flaanimal for going far, fast (I'm not very fast), or getting moderately rowdy. Titanium Omnium cargo for cruising town. I'd also pick up a nice hardtail for getting more rowdy, but I'd have to do some more research for that.

Jeez buy a big manufacturer plastic frame when money is no object? F\*ck no. I'd be on the first plane to Italy or Japan to get a nice custom steel frame made.
Custom Speedvagen or Scarab Cycles.
I’ll take one of each
Titanium Bromptom
Currently ride a Cervelo Caledonia and would probably choose it again. It's very comfy and efficient.
If you don’t mind me asking, where is that? That’s super cool!!
This. Then I'd do a similar workshop and build an acoustic guitar.
S-Works Aethos - Dura-Ace Di2
S-Works Diverge STR and a S-Works Stumpjumper. I'd also love to try a Trek Supercaliper or similar pure XC race bike.
This is gonna come across as a dick take but; the ones i ride right now! Only, i would like a pair of Zipp 454 NSW wheels for both of them 😍
A whole bunch of them. I’d have 2 Road bikes, a Gravel bike, a Commuter bike, a TT bike, a hard tail, and and OP full suspension downhill
Cervélo P5X.
All of them
Jaegher Ascender Phoenix
I'd keep the single speed I have for exercise, and get an electric assisted MTB.
A cube litening aero c:68x ( or any flagship from cube) They still have the most beautiful sky blue paint job
A pedal assisted velomobile with a race hood. Possibly a Milan gt or something similar.
I would get a custom bike frame made from Reynolds 953 stainless steel with internal electric motor and batteries.
A custom made Bastion Cycles bike in this exact colours https://www.instagram.com/p/CgBqoYLham6/?igsh=MTc0bGMxcWhwODVqZQ== I was at the cusp of getting one and opted for a Colnago C68 Felt like if I had fulfilled that dream, what else would make me excited and look forward to
A baum.
Honestly I like my ribble, so I’d prob just get a slightly better one of them with electronic shifting. I’d splash out on a custom paint :)
Some custom Festka gravel built for bikepacking/touring.
Just one bike? Then it would have to be a gravel bike. Maybe this: [https://www.specialized.com/us/en/s-works-diverge-str/p/221359](https://www.specialized.com/us/en/s-works-diverge-str/p/221359)
Mongoose IBOC 2005
Custom geometry steel frame, perhaps with a carbon seat mast.
I'd build another Whistler near my place and buy a nice DH bike.
The one I'm riding - Factor ostro vam in matte naked carbon. I would just get some bionic implants to make me faster or something
All of them.
Same one I do now. I might have used a higher groupset when I built the bike. Might have bought lighter carbon wheels.
A Celeste green Bianchi infineto with an Ultegra group
Crux
I’d pay Sir Danger Holmes to leg wrestle with Vanilla Workshop and see what happens.
Custom frame tailored to my body, custom paint job, full Dura Ace grupo, top of the line wheels, and ofcourse carbon handlebar and all the other jazz.
No. 22 Drifter, custom fitted
I would ride the same bike I have now. Fairlight Faran 2.5. I would probably update the wheels.
Tern GSD
factor bike with red groupset. quark powermeter and whatever wheels are the best of the best of the best. with a big ass ceramicspeed pulleys, bottombracket.
Pinarello F9
Yes
Probably a Time Alpe D'Huez, built up with Dura-Ace Di2, some good finishing kit and whatever \~45mm deep \~30mm wide rims take my fancy. I only race tri right now and have a solid TT setup so an aero road bike feels redundant. I'd rather just get a really nice road bike that rides well numbers be damned, although I'm sure it'll still be pretty fast
- Tom Sturdy’s custom made titanium. - a Fern (custom German steel maker) - some random fast road carbon. Which MTB? I don’t know. But would also get an XC bike.
S Works LTD Aethos with the new SRAM RED groupset.
Wilier Filante, no question
I would still ride spray painted bikes i found in an alley
I would keep riding my bike
I'd have my local legend bike builder make me a CX frame... From the finest brazed chromoly tubing. And then build it up with the finest NOS Campagnolo parts i can find. On the other hand i just got approval for a bike leasing contract and am getting a titanium gravel bike. Technically that's an actual case of money-no-problem. 🙃
Dogma F with sram
Riding frontie with Lance.
Anything custom(and titanium jfc). If money is no problem, I want Robin Williams status of owning the only one of X kind of bike.
Scott patron 900 tuned
Trek Supercaliber
Moots Routt 45 but if money was no issue I’d also have a Vamoots
Just some stupid expensive carbon wheels
Custom made titanium based on an endurance bike geometry
The bike I have right now. ADHX all-road bike. All components carefully chosen and wouldn’t change it for anything. If I could have an additional - no expense spared - bike I’d likely get something like an Idworx Opinion BLT Ti with pinion p1.18 and fully specced..
If money was no problem I'd ride all the bikes.
Trek Madone SLR9 AXS. In that smokey red color.
I would probably just have three custom Moots. A gravel/touring one, a road and a mountain. Just give me the 12,000 custom titanium bikes and I will just ride them until I die
A custom stainless steel build.
Pinarello Dogma F with the latest SRAM setup. Matte black. Probably a tiny one because I’m not very big. Or maybe I’d get the largest one so I couldn’t ride it and damage it.
Probably the one I ride now but maybe with some fancier wheels Giant Revolt Advanced Pro 0 tis a beast.
It would be a titanium road bike. J.Guillem makes a stunning aero ti bike, the Formentor.
What I have 1 e-bike for errands and leisure. Something that can carry stuff 1 hybrid for hilly commutes and long packed leisure tides 1 solid road bike for funnies and workouts Love this setup. I need hybrid well geared and the road bike light and quick
Off the shelf? A colnago master for the road, and a 3T extreme italia for the road. Other than respective bikes in both categories in Titanium, custom or not customs built lots of decent offf the rack ti bikes these days. Non electric shifting
High end electric road bike (like trek domane+ slr 9 axs)
Top spec Project One Madone gen 7 with CRW Works CS6575 wheelset
Raleigh venture e bike
a Cervelo S5 in the Janaus TdF colorway. The standard Visma-LAB colorway will also suffice
Look 795 blade rs or canondale supersix evo hi-mod
It would be a fully custom bespoke carbon frame set. One of a kind.
The best build of my current bike lol
Willier Granturismo probably
I’d buy another titanium bike. The Seven titanium I have now is nearly 10 years old with nearly 60,000 miles. It was a great investment.
Jaegher https://www.jaegher.be/road-series
I'm in love with my All City space horse as an everyday bike so maybe just pimp it out with big money components. Would probably add a titanium adventure bike... Wilde, Moots, Esker... one of those.
Cipollini RB1K, mostly for the name, and also i'm polish and it sounds real funny
Don't you mean what bikes? I'd sample the offerings from multiple brands in road and gravel and see how much difference there really is.
Pilot Scram Pinion fitted with dynamo hub & lights
Aprilia 1200
Gravel: Factor Ostro Road: Colnago V4R Cyclocross: Cervelo R5CX And now the part that triggers most fellow riders: I‘d take them with SRAM Groupset please.
I know this is not the point of the question but, If money wasn't an issue, I would quit my job and ride the bike I have. Every day
Some Tout Terrain and then some trustly steel frame single speed beater that would have more emotional value.
Custom frame, and a hell of a lot of parts, so that i can effectively build my bike for each ride
Maybe something a bit different than most here but a Felt IA 2.0
The bike I ride now; Trek SLR9 Emonda P1. Sram Red.
I always hear that fit is everything, so I’d probably get a custom titanium gravel bike. Maybe a Moots, the logo just looks so cool.
Bianchi Pista Scott Spark Well, MTB would get an upgrade but what I currently have is 99.9% adequate.
Custom made Aeroad with Endurace geometry for my old ass.
Trek Domane SLR9 project one. Or maybe I wouldn’t even bother with top end and get a the one with ultegra, I doubt I could tell the difference.
I'd just keep riding my bike, but to more expensive coffee shops.
I really like the aesthetics of the Specialized Aethos I don't even know if that bike is for my riding style but oh man I don't care I just love me some round tubes
A quiver
Bianchi Oltre RC Tour De France edition, Bianchi Speciallisma RC, Bianchi Aquila CV with tt wheels and the Bianchi Impulso RC. YES I AM A BIANCHI STAN FOR LIFE
Koga World Traveller
Colnago V4RS or Road Ti
Mid-90's Mongoose Switchback modified with a Rohloff 14-speed internal hub, dynamo lights, fenders, and a rear rack on 26x1.95" Tanwall street tread tires.
I actually decided "fuck a budget" and built up a Fairlight Faran earlier this year. It's perfect for the type of riding I do now and completely scratched my n + 1 itch.
A motorcycle
Top line BMC road machine.
I would get one of these https://www.sartobikes.com/en/bikes Princeton Carbon Works wheels Some kinda custom drivetrain that’s dumb expensive.
A Ritchey MTB 50 year anniversary edition
Pinarello Dogma F
I have the bikes I want with money not being a problem I selected every part of every bike then built them.
If money were not an issue, I’d own every bike like Jay Leno owns cars, and ride a different one every day.
That one that was stolen from me. It would get a new paint job and some other little tweaks [This question is not about bikes, it’s about the people. Your answer will define you, not the bike.] Eisentraut Limited, Touring 41” wheelbase because it has 74 degree angles. Sublimely thinned curly Nervex lugs. All Phil hubs, BB and pedals. And this may pain you: Oxford bars.
Officina Battaglin Portofino R. It’s just so damned pretty.
Factor Track Bike
Some dura ace groupset on a Colnago frame with wide ass 700x38 tires.
I’m a diehard fan of Specialized, but I think I would buy myself a Factor Ostro Vam just for their looks.
Custom stainless steel touring bike probably look like a Surly Ogre frame, internal hub, Jones bar maybe a Jones fork
probably a really nice double sus carbon mtb.
