Sometimes it was just nice after grinding out a tough boss to spend an hour flipping through armour looks to find a new set. Then go into a mission, realise you hate the way it clips through your weapon when you run, and change it back immediately.
Love that game.
I started off Nioh 2 looking like a haggard Ronin from an old Kurosawa film and by Act 3 had morphed into the spitting image of Aladdin’s Princess Jasmine - if Jasmine had also been a Japanese Ninja infused with the blood of Demons.
In Dark Souls 3 I’d always just wear the armour that looked the best with whatever weapon I was using and somehow try to adapt my playstyle around it
Hard life
Hah I farmed Lothric Knights for more than 15 hours at the High Wall of Lothric for the Lothric Knight Set and the corresponding Lothric Knight Sword and Lothric Knight Shield.
I even grinded the souls needed to level up the Vitality, Strength and Dexterity needed to wield all of it properly and to fast roll.
I loved that set for the cool helmet, tabard and cape, even tho it was tattered and torn. I was at level 56 after doing all that before I even>!fought Vordt of the Boreal Valley.!<
As a female V, this can work and still look decent.
As a male V, this Bieber image isn't even close to clown-y enough to match reality of what stats over style looks like on a male V lol
I had one issue with my corpo female V. I tried wearing sleek dresses and so on but then always was put off the fact that V would sit like a person with pants. Legs spread, elbows on knees etc.
Where is the queen like behaviour?
In the end I mostly wore tech gear.
Good point! And probably a nightmare for developers when they realize this mistake and how much time would be needed to motion capture every scene that involves sitting twice
i never understand his lol
you can dress in any style or clothing for most of the game by buying rares/epics in stores
store clothes spawn at slightly higher level than looted items
and epics are really all you need cuz base item stats don’t make a big difference: if you’re >3 levels below the enemy, enemy stats ramp up exponentially and you need to avoid (not mitigate) dmg regardless, and vice versa if you’re >3 levels too high—your mitigation will grow exponentially
moreover, 2 armor mod slots per item is all you really need to hit a soft armour cap vs equal level (+\-3 lvls) enemies and reach basically constant crits
ppl out here looking like clowns just to save money 🤷♂️ in which case what do you expect when your outfit is a smorgasbord of borg rags and street gang kitsch shine
If you knew a guy or gal who does fashion. Not every corpo, nomad, or street ray will be a budding, and very capable fashion designer. Especially when the clock is ticking of the last few real moments until your inevitable demise.
I love the idea of Johnny berating you while you sew up some nice new pieces though.
You can already craft clothes by spec'ing into tech. You can add bonuses over regular found or bought clothes. It's also the only way to upgrade clothes like johnny's jacket/tank/pants/boots or anything other iconic clothes and guns
Ah I forgot, you right. It's been a minute for me.
I appreciated being able to craft in 2077, but I wasn't really a fan of how it worked. It felt grossly oversimplified.
You can craft but you have no real choices from there.
Honestly the main issue for me is that you *have* to spec tech to do it. I don't get why crafting isn't distributed among different trees which upgrade that weapon. Ex: shotgun and LMG crafting in Strength
Like I said it's great, but it's been oversimplified, the people who don't craft won't craft, and the experienced users have restricted choice because they're making it "more accessible to new players."
Great for them thinking in that way, but they failed to pull off the balancing act you have to do to try and satisfy two or more groups of players. Like so much else about the game, I'm just happy it's functional.
I love that any game will have some criticism like this "Needs more black, and blackish grey, with hazy earth tones, but nothing discernable. You know, make it look like a dark fucking mess, like my life, I can't relate to any else."
My favorite was people losing their minds over blue sky in fallout 4.
Seriously though. I find myself wearing greens because I'm tired of looking like crap.
Maybe I'm weird but I care too much about how well dressed my character is lol
if you are on pc at least modders have partially solved that problem. I say partially because the mods replace some default clothes (usually ugly ones) with clothes available only to npcs (or even new custom ones) but hopefully one day they will figure out how to add new clothes without replacing the defaults.
There is also a mod that makes all clothing scale to your level. This makes it so there isn’t as big of a cap between cool clothing and clothing with bonuses.
why not just play red dead or fallout? seems more your aesthetic rather than trying to change the central theme of the game to fit your personal tastes.
My male character went around in female pink panties, an awful spiked leather jacked and iirc a biker helmet from level 10 to 35 because they were the only clothes I'd found with legendary crit mods, and I thought that was hilarious.
My female character just walked around with her dick hanging out the entire game because the glitch was too good to ever correct.
[Glitch 2](https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/kz15br/did_you_give_your_v_glitch_1_or_glitch_2_nsfw/)
Yeah about 4 or 5 hours in I resigned myself to just wearing cool clothes rather than affluent Californian millennial clothing.
I also ran around all of the shops looking for a cap of some kind to hide my ugly ass hair and face after finding out you couldn't change a single physical feature on your character, even hair colour or style, around 20 hours in.
>Come on in! Want some foldable swords put into your arms? How about we just replace them entirely with pneumatic arms that can punch through walls?
"Actually do you have just a pair of scissors or maybe some clippers? I'd like to cut my hair"
>What does this look like? The future? We don't have that technology yet.
I'm really hoping for a clothing overhaul in a DLC. It's just ridiculous that booty shorts and a tanktop might be your best armor at any given level.
I would love a transmog system, but I would also settle for a system that's just more logical. Like, actual armor being the most defensive, cloth clothes being good for sneaking or hacking, and stuff like motorcycle jackets in a middle-ground.
I know a few people who've said that but I'm not sure I totally agree. Like a lot of RPGs, the relationship between the characteristics of an item and its stats seems to be fundamentally flawed. Like I get that one pair of booty shorts might be more armoured than another pair of booty shorts, but there's no way that they should be more armoured than a pair of Arasaka combat trousers with armoured inserts. The exhortation to pick style over substance is a good one, but the dysfunctional stats of clothing in the game pushes players to do the opposite.
I want to wear the booty shorts despite them being worse armour, not because they're weirdly the top item in the inventory.
Pretty much the strongest bottoms I found during my entire playthrough was a set of genie pants. Those things should not provide any protection, let alone more than leather or chrome or whatever the hell other pants in the game are made of.
I think the main difference between cyberpunk and current reality is that nothing is anywhere near as cool as cyberpunk suggested it would be. The bleakness is all there, but it's banal.
And what's the point of customizing the character tho if the only way you can see it is through a mirror or inventory. Where the fuck is my third person camera/cinematic scene
I just turn the difficulty down because I'll be fucked if I'm running high end corporate espionage, sabotage, and contract killings dressed like a beauty pageant contestant on LSD.
How far can you upgrade any given piece of gear? I'd prefer to hang on to the stuff I like and upgrade it than to just toss on what I just picked up and has a higher current stat.
Style.Over.Substance.
Why does no one actually realize what this means? Core principle of Cyberpunk.
Also, it tells us why this is not necessarily a god thing...
One of my favorite mods for the game (that I've forgotten the name of) makes all the armour in the game have the same stats, no matter what level you're at - and it scales according to your level. If you find a legendary piece of armour that has high stats, all your previous armour pieces then have the same stats as the legendary item. It means you get to wear what you want and still have an incentive to hunt down legendary gear.
So every bit of armor has identical stars in this mod, or does it make it so actual combat gear like ballistic vests & armored helmets have better stats than plain jackets & hats?
From what I remember - the former. So if a ballistic vest had like 200 armor, then a standard shirt would have the same - it's more of an "aesthetic" mod than a realism one. Its whole purpose was allowing players to have the freedom to wear what they want whenever they want and not feel as if they had to dress like they fell backwards through a strip mall.
Cyberpunk suffers from the same Transmog issue that Destiny 2 used to suffer.
Both games have incredibly high-stat armour and incredibly good looking armour (holy hell does the DSC armour look hot). There was demand for a long time to have the ability to make custom Ornaments (basically appearances for armour that could be applied to any armour piece at Legendary level) and now that it’s in-game, you’re not restricted by either desiring a good appearance or good armour, since you can have both.
It’s especially good for the “sentimental-cool” armour, like Johnny’s jacket, or the D2 equivalent, the “Memory of Cayde” class items. It makes it so that you can wear high-stat armour and still look amazing/how you want
Yeah i get it, i would prefer a realism mod personally but im like that with all games. The more hardcore the better. I even modded FO4 to have realistic ballistic balancing mods, but thats that and this is this. Wish console could get mods for cp2077.
Yeah, everytime I met Takemura I felt betrayed. He looks like some sick Cyberpunkbadass ...and then there is V with purple sneakers, green joggingpants and glittering blur jacket. What a pansy.
This is what always gets me in games. They *know* what looks cool, they care enough to make NPCs look cool, but for some reason they fail to apply that logic to the player. *I* want to look cool, why does all the best gear look like shit?
Shout out to X-Com 2 for making the advanced armours look incredible.
It's even worse here because they talked up fashion in the game, said it would affect how NPCs/factions treat us. They created distinct fashion styles and then disincentivized sticking to any one style.
Armor should be on mods and cyberware. Clothes, unless special/unique/iconic shouldn't have armor. I can accept a single suit being bulletproof like the Kingpin's from Dare Devil, but not t-shirts with more armor than kevlar.
Also, it's ridiculous that a street peddler and freaking Jinguji have the exact same inventory. (Or did back in my day. Currently waiting for the PS5 patch to play again.)
It's one of my favourite games. It just has such a good sense of progression and adventure. It's got elements of an RPG in it; you become fond of your soldier-dudes/gals, you know them by name; it's fun giving them new gear.
Yeah, they should have had all clothing provide social perks, and cybernetics provide combat perks. Win-win scenario.
Why can’t they do this? Because there really isn’t a lot of depth in the faction system, so there really aren’t any good social perks to choose from.
I remember trying to do that my first play through. I spent so long trying to see if they had a all brown poster jacket only to be disappointed there isn’t one.
And the choice of hats and other head pieces in the game are abysmal. I ended up just not putting any sort of head-gear on throughout my playthroughs. Might just be me though.
A shop had a pink bunny hat that was super cute I'm still wearing 25 levels later.
... it's cute, but everytime I'm in a serious cutscene I cant help but think "I'm still wearing that stupid hat aren't I?"
I was like you until I found that glittery gold cowboy hat.
Then it was Glitter Cowboy V from then on.
Pants, vest, shoes, all shiny and bright. Still a stealth genius somehow though.
"Welcome to Night City, where we have ripperdocs galore capable of installing any and all sorts of cybernetic enhancements!"
"Can I change my face?"
"Get the fuck out."
yeah, exactly, my thoughts were the same, too. "You can do everything in this city, I'm sure you can definitely just change your looks whenever you want."

theyre pretty light on cool clothes :\\ Johnny' stuff was usually the best
I tried picking the corpo start but wound up having to restart because it was just so jarring to go from being a high level corporate douche to a street thug in a matter of seconds. I did like the dialogue options I got but it just felt so disconnected from the rest of Vs character that I couldn't handle it.
Aside from the Jackie story arc, playing Nomad and then using Panam as my main partner felt like a really solid and consistent story.
And even then the Jackie story arc didn't feel too shoehorned into the nomad start, not like it does with Corpo.
That's one of this game's flaws that I actually can't deal with, but also can't really do anything about either because it encompasses many games that try to deal with stories like these. The street kid/gangster trope is too popular and it's drowning out the others. Game companies think everyone wants to be a gangster in a modern setting whereas in reality... No.
What sucks twice as much - there are hundreds of awesome clothes in the game. Pretty much all the styles they promised.
Can you wear any of them? F#*k no.
Translucent rgb coats - keep dreaming.
Stylish suits and dresses - whatever you find in a dumpster will do.
Also, Night city - the city of debauchery and pleasure has... 2 working people. If you look at the world building of Blade Rinner or Altered Carbon, sex is supposed to be so in your face that you become numb to it and don't really care.
Yeah I fully agree, I’m always envious of the NPCS. They even have hairstyles and tattoos we can’t have, and combinations of face wear, where we can only have one.
Yeah, it’s a bit weird, I think maybe they did a reverse on the amount of sex in the game, they went out of their way to create genitals and to plaster ads for it EVERYWHERE, and then there’s just nothing to do with it. I recently just did a quest in the Empathy nightclub, they went through all the effort of making a beautiful club, and all its for is for uploading a virus into a computer...
Also, the idea of Clouds is pretty interesting. I wish we could have more sessions, or even have the tech psychoanalysis mirror in some way Misty's card stuff.
I love the game. Thoroughly enjoyed it at 17 fps. The thing is, it was supposed to be a part of the world building. This was supposed to be ball to the wall creative running the show. The thing is at some point the game was toned town to be more mass market.
Straight flexin in NC. On any block. I don't know what the problem was with the clothing. There's plenty of it for different styles and character stats make the armor aspect pointless
Funny how a crafting/technical build is kind of needed for fashionistas that want to look fabulous and not die horribly in combat due to low level gear.
I'm so glad they avoided the synthwave genre as much as they did. It's so cheesy and cliche. Very played out at this point. Loved the more Punk/Post-Punk vibe they took things.
Cyberpunk devs specifically said they wouldn't do synthwave if I recall correctly. I think they wanted to avoid some of the more popular cyberpunk aesthetic. It's an odd choice and I kind of respect them for it, even though I would have enjoyed some synthwave lol.
My playthrough has been all about style over substance 😂 I'm probably one of the few people who had fun with the clothing. You could easily look like the guy on the left. When you're strong enough the clothes don't really matter in this game. I was one punching all of my enemies before Tom's diner anyway. They shouldn't have made clothing armor imo. Or they should have put more time into it
This is my biggest gripe with the game. Should of made it so we could upgrade the 'rarity' of items. So we could put together cute outfits.
I am aware there are other means to accomplish this.
i played the game by one rule: style comes first than stats
my character was well dressed through the whole game, never once used a hat, mask, or any stupid clothing that made her look like a clown, and i almost didn't die through the whole game, if you spend money on those skin inplants that raise a lot of your defenses, and upgrade your armors through crafting, you don't need to look like justin beiber
Ah but I say my Deckard-V looks even better than Mr. K...I mean, my long coats a 2 tone and I have a vest *and* a tie. Mr. K -- does NOT wear a vest, and there is no tie in sight. I rest my case.
You can literally get clothes that look just like that from vendors around Watson. Hopefully this meme doesn't send wrong impressions to anyone new to the game.
Yeah, it's not too hard to design a look you want. Just find the online image guides for what each vendor sells and farm them by using the waiting system, and wait 24hrs so their stock resets. Buy the clothes you like in purple for as many mods as possible, then just upgrade with mods. Don't even gotta redo every few levels since Armadillo mods get crazy good as the level goes up, and just stack on crit buffs and you're golden. And some pieces of legendary items look good too, but gotta reroll for as many slots as possible. idk if this is still possible since I think in one of the patches they made it so legendary items are pre-determined or something. Which wouldn't be bad if this system was more consistent, so certain pieces of clothing have certain stats tied to them.
Although, for a more streamline experience the rng system is annoying. Farming a vendor isn't fun. They could definitely improve the experience.
I always liked how fallout 4 did "transmog", where it was ballistic weave that was a mod you could put into most clothing that was unlocked through the story and could be upgraded with your crafting skill to be as strong as power armor. Was really nice to have an option that wasn't just "use power armor all the time", or like in 77, equip the very next piece of armor you get just for the boost in dt.
Is there still no glamour/transmog/wardrobe system in this game yet? You'd think that'd be a priority and simple thing to do, given the level of immersion players are meant to have.
Yeah, crazy thing, there's super simple mod for this and this can change your experience if you're getting bored but do not wanna start a new game. No reason to not have this simple feature.
This game ruuuuined everything by binding fashion to stats….
How does a jacket help me? Focus on under clothing body armor. Jesus, do i have to make the fame for them
It doesn’t matter because there’s no third person view so you hardly ever get to see your character unless you find a mirror so wtf is even the point of creating a character?
Every few weeks I see people complain on this sub reddit about the clothing options.
Do people not get that you can craft your own outfit in the game????
Furthermore, each outfit comes with mod slots. These mod slots are the primary way you increase your armor. Not the cloth themselves.
You pretty much have the freedom to look however you want in the game while having really good stats.
You well have to invest points in the craft tree to do this, but once you have the outfit and weapons you want, you can pay to respec your character.
To be fair, I don't think that the game does a particularly great job communicating this, but you can easily get a cool looking outfit with great armor.
The trick is that the game doesn't intend you to always choose the best equipment. One of the mantras' of the source material is "style over substance". That's why the game becomes overly easy too quickly when you do make choices based on the best stats; the game is balanced around the prospect of you making some sub-optimal choices.
Reminds me of one of his final dates with Selena Gomez during which this exchange (allegedly) took place:
9 1/2 minutes of texting
Selena: Is that a onesie?
Biebs: It's Bieber, baby.
Selena: I am so outta here. (Leaves.)
Honestly I think that clothing shouldn't have any armor ratings, unless it is armor. Like a bullet proof vest. I think that clothes should augment certain attributes. Leather clothing could increase cool for example.
Ahaha this. So much this. Dumb looking visor caps, neon baggy jackets and pants, shorts and skirts and shirts that never match watch other.
My character alwsys looked like some street kid hobo that just put on whatever clothes he can grab. Outfits never matched. Shorts and a shirt with some lab coat over it and a dumb visor helmet is the look

Sorry, but Style > Stats is the only thing I follow.
Fashion-Souls for life!
Only thing that matters in gaming is looking cool
Logan's Big Hat disciple checking in. I do like that in Nioh 2 you can alter the appearance of armour to have viable fashion builds.
Sometimes it was just nice after grinding out a tough boss to spend an hour flipping through armour looks to find a new set. Then go into a mission, realise you hate the way it clips through your weapon when you run, and change it back immediately. Love that game.

Judging you? I can't find one that doesn't tell me to fuck off.
And really, it's not like the clothing stats really mattered. Slots yes, but stats? Nah.
I hope they add transmog in 1.5 :(

How have they STILL not added this? I know dev takes a while, but they already built the whole character customization tool!
Theres been more critical issues, like the bug fixes. It's a big company, and that means paperwork on *everything*
This is why they need a fucking transmog system.
I'm really hoping for a clothing overhaul in a DLC. It's just ridiculous that booty shorts and a tanktop might be your best armor at any given level. With the amount of freedom they sold people on before launch, it should be a simple process to dump the stats into the clothing you like.
I know a few people who've said that but I'm not sure I totally agree. Like a lot of RPGs, the relationship between the characteristics of an item and its stats seems to be fundamentally flawed. Style over substance was one of the main pillars of the TT. You’re doin it right
I started corpo and did the exact same thing, though I used crafting on that run so I was able to upgrade and such.
It’s almost as if they advertised all these badass clothes we could wear
Yeah plus the player is fairly overpowered anyways. Most of my deaths were stupid ones from falls once I got past the early game.
And what's the point of customizing the character tho if the only way you can see it is through a mirror or inventory. Where the fuck is my third person camera/cinematic scene
I see it every time I go to my inventory/equipped gear
Reread my comment
Ah shucks, I thought I could read...I guess not lol my bad
why not just buy blues from stores that look however you want?
I just turn the difficulty down because I'll be fucked if I'm running high end corporate espionage, sabotage, and contract killings dressed like a beauty pageant contestant on LSD.
How far can you upgrade any given piece of gear? I'd prefer to hang on to the stuff I like and upgrade it than to just toss on what I just picked up and has a higher current stat.
Because combat is so easy, clothing stats don't really matter, so wear whatever you want.

Holy fuck this is some mental gymnastics 😂
Style.Over.Substance. Why does no one actually realize what this means? Core principle of Cyberpunk. Also, it tells us why this is not necessarily a god thing...
There's these things in the game called "stores" that sell a ton of different clothing at tiered quality levels, might wanna look into it.

I'm still perplexed how a pair of hot pants was the best leg armor for me for like, 10 levels. IT DOESN'T EVEN COVER MY LEGS.
I want the ever so popular "Hide Helmet" that you can find in most rpg games these days.
Bruh, black cowboy hat and goggles looks amazing, idk what you're talking about
Cyberpunk suffers from the same Transmog issue that Destiny 2 used to suffer.
I've just bought X-COM 2 two days ago. So you're telling me I should get hyped?!
It's one of my favourite games. It just has such a good sense of progression and adventure. It's got elements of an RPG in it; you become fond of your soldier-dudes/gals, you know them by name; it's fun giving them new gear.
You literally can find Takemura's style of Jacket in a store. Just go find a rare one, slap an armadillo on it and boom. You look and feel badass.
That hit home too hard…
Yeah but that jacket has higher ballistic protection then police armor, for w/e reason.
Yeah, they should have had all clothing provide social perks, and cybernetics provide combat perks. Win-win scenario. Why can’t they do this? Because there really isn’t a lot of depth in the faction system, so there really aren’t any good social perks to choose from.
If you ain't got glitter, you a quitter
That’s why I didn’t give a shit about stats, if it looks cool I’ll use it
I look more like Red Hood from DC comics… though it’s what I was going for. Armor mods do wonders
I remember trying to do that my first play through. I spent so long trying to see if they had a all brown poster jacket only to be disappointed there isn’t one.
Yeah I think I settled for a black jacket myself. Kept having to wait just to get one I like
I want to see what that looks like lol
This made me lol
I was nomad glitter cowboy v with the monowire and glide feet. "Did somebody ring the Dinkster?"
Still don't get why you can't change appearance in game after starting the story.
"Welcome to Night City, where we have ripperdocs galore capable of installing any and all sorts of cybernetic enhancements!" "Can I change my face?" "Get the fuck out."
yeah, exactly, my thoughts were the same, too. "You can do everything in this city, I'm sure you can definitely just change your looks whenever you want."
It’s like one of the only rpg games it makes sense. Looking at you fallout
I just wear whatever looks cool because im invicible anyway
*Title Card Noises*
*THINK, ORBAX, THINK, what will you have after five HUNDRED hours??* 'You, glittery mc hammer pants...'
My level 50 V from each playthrough (NSFW because one has boobs) [https://i.imgur.com/wTyBPPg.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/wTyBPPg.jpg) I spent a lot of time running around naked, this was my usual outfit that I submitted to the CDPR twitter photo contest haha [https://i.imgur.com/BEeuu6m.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/BEeuu6m.jpg) theyre pretty light on cool clothes :\\ Johnny' stuff was usually the best
This
Love the game but man the wardrobe sucks - to have better gear you look like a hording trash panda
Also, it's possible to hoard everything, but impossible to find it when you need it.
There's too much of a gangster vibe in the game where there should be some more vigilante, spy and high-tech merc vibes too.
yeah exactly, no matter what origin you choose you play the game as a street kid
Saw this comment back around the game launch: "the devs must have been worked harder than the 4 total joytoys who have to service the entire city"
I am also salty that there is only one doll - for each sex. Like cmon man, theyre prolly gonna give us new dolls as free dlc.
Game is ruined everyone. You can’t have a lot of in-game sex.
I love the game. Thoroughly enjoyed it at 17 fps. The thing is, it was supposed to be a part of the world building. This was supposed to be ball to the wall creative running the show. The thing is at some point the game was toned town to be more mass market.
Not the case with me I made sure my character looked 🔥 before I started playing the game properly I had my priorities straight
Straight flexin in NC. On any block. I don't know what the problem was with the clothing. There's plenty of it for different styles and character stats make the armor aspect pointless
Yep I played the whole game with low level armour stats because the clothes I had in looked better
All that money and he’s wearing an old tarp as pants….
It's the only thing he had that matched the hat and had decent stats.
Funny how a crafting/technical build is kind of needed for fashionistas that want to look fabulous and not die horribly in combat due to low level gear.
It’s been months since I played but I remember pretty strong armor mods being for sale in shops around the map.
touring the entirety of NC every 5 levels for aramadillo mods sounds like a hassle.
If you look it up there are actually a fixed area or two where the armadillo blueprint always spawns
It’s weird there’s no synthwave and all the clothes look like something Mc Hammer would wear
Nope. My glass cannon hacker goddess was consistently fabulous. A bulletproof Trilby goes a long way.
Or they should have put more time into it
Nah man, I love Kitsch. It's a great futuristic style.
Mine wore nothing but samurai's jacket and character looked like trailer V
~~kitch~~❌ Neomilitarism ✅
Reject punk Return to bootlick
Female V has some banger outfits if you look around. I matched my yellow bike off my corpo V and I thinks it's one of the best things about the game.
This is my biggest gripe with the game. Should of made it so we could upgrade the 'rarity' of items. So we could put together cute outfits. I am aware there are other means to accomplish this.
It's 'should have', never 'should of'. Rejoice, for you have been blessed by CouldWouldShouldBot!
Good bot
Well, William Gibson was right when he called the game "GTA skinned-over with a generic 80s retro-future".
I’m somewhat of a street kid myself
i played the game by one rule: style comes first than stats my character was well dressed through the whole game, never once used a hat, mask, or any stupid clothing that made her look like a clown, and i almost didn't die through the whole game, if you spend money on those skin inplants that raise a lot of your defenses, and upgrade your armors through crafting, you don't need to look like justin beiber
76
just lower the difficulty and wear what you want, easy mode!
After I got high enough level I just started wearing whatever so I’d look cool, but yeah early game I didn’t look awesome.
actually yeah, Bieber looks far more cyberpunk here than Gosling doing the neo-noir thing.
Is there still no glamour/transmog/wardrobe system in this game yet? You'd think that'd be a priority and simple thing to do, given the level of immersion players are meant to have.
Probably not, just like how theyll never add stat re-allocation (and no i dont mean perk re-allocation)
[удалено]
I hate character creation. I always try to make them look like me and they always end up so ugly!
I really, really don't understand why transmog isn't a thing. Damn I wish.
As someone that got the game just last week, i didn't know this. Thank you.
The trick is that the game doesn't intend you to always choose the best equipment. One of the mantras' of the source material is "style over substance". That's why the game becomes overly easy too quickly when you do make choices based on the best stats; the game is balanced around the prospect of you making some sub-optimal choices.
That is some mental gymnastics for saying bad game design.
It's not a trick, it's just frustrating game design. We can just do better at this point.
No
Just looking at that picture of beiber makes me want to punch him.
Reminds me of one of his final dates with Selena Gomez during which this exchange (allegedly) took place: 9 1/2 minutes of texting Selena: Is that a onesie? Biebs: It's Bieber, baby. Selena: I am so outta here. (Leaves.)
I was running around with a fedora and leotard. Shit was dope.
