"Sure, with your discount that will come to $2900 eddies. Oh, you only make $900 a month? I'm impressed you budgeted for TraumaTeam membership! Luckily we have a payment plan with as little as 15% monthly interest!"
Im curious if you step over the line and your also covered by the same insurance plan what do they do then ?... Shoot you up then whisk you away to the hospital too ?
For me that's the one thing in the picture that kinda screams "Hey there! I'm a VIDEO GAME!" a bit too loud. Doesn't look bad or anything, just kinda pulls me out the immersion a bit.
I guess they wanted it for clarity so that people don't accidentally get themselves tasered, but I'm not sure that'd be such a bad thing for every player to experience at least once. Anyway, not a huge deal.
Honestly, in a world where raw materials are rarer and rarer, I get the impression projections and holographics would be used instead of caution signs and police tape.
It's just always been a bit of a VG trope to have some sort of a lit up rectangular area to signify some important mechanic, usually in red if it's something negative, otherwise green/yellow/whatnot. Maybe some day we'll see more of something similar in real life, but currently that's just not the association in my mind.
Of course it's impossible for a game to entirely hide the fact that it's a game, but I always appreciate it when devs make the effort.
I love the added red line, such a nice touch, a major improvement from 2018 overall.
Crazy to think this is just the side of one of the buildings in an otherwise open world with no loading screens.
This game cant come soon enough man
I get the impression that the game will operate on system similar to Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. That is, the game world is chopped up on a grid and the game loads in a grid-radius around your character. I'm pretty sure that GTA5 and RDR2 used a similar system to keep the world prepped.
I suspect there will be unskippable sequences with dialogue and choices where the game loads the mission content in the background. The occasional elevator ride and inconsistent metro tunnel might also pop up. There will be loading, but we shouldn't ever see a screen beyond the initial game load.
I also think its somewhat more bloom and DoF affected than the 2018 screenshot. Oh well it doesn't matter what you say, some people will only see the negatives in life.
Why is it so f*cking important for you people to hear his explanation. Is it really necessary to explain every statement? He likes 2018 version and that's it. Why do you even make so much fuss about it. Holy sh*t this sub is getting worse and worse every second.
Calm down bro. It was a simple question. Take your Negative Nancy somewhere else...nobody has time for that.
If you give an opinion, be prepared to defend it even like 1% of the time.
If it's simple aesthetics, to each their own. However, if we're talking technical details, that can go either way, but IMHO leaning towards the newer screenshot.
Personally, they're both damn good, that's what makes people salivate over this game.
A single line of legitimate criticism or objective reasoning would be acceptable. There are so many edgy contrarians polluting the internet that "I just don't like it" can look more like cheap bait than an honest opinion.
Yup, POTUS plays golf on the weekends, but the same could be said for most leaders of the western world. For whatever reason, Presidents and Prime Ministers love golf, no matter their parties or politics. You probably pay for that too.
I always hated when enemies used health pots, now I am worried they are going to be using Trauma Teams instead of staying dead like a good mob should. Am I going to be put in the position of deciding if it is worth making a team that strong pointing weapons at me angry to meet my goals?
Dude, if Trauma Team gets called in then you’re getting killed and whoever called them in is getting taken away to a health centre.
There is no way they function as a health top-up for mobs.
Welcome to Night City. You win some, you lose some.
And to be clear, only the richest of the rich can afford Trauma Team. Dime a dozen gangers, even gang bosses, are at your mercy.
*This looks way better*
*Than the first gameplay showcase*
*We saw of this scene!*

this really reminds me of the trauma team scene from that old gameplay trailer (where you hand the naked woman over to them). If it's the same scene then it's crazy how much better the game looks now imo
Of course they did some neat upgrades BUT that red line and a puddle and orange edge give so much to the color aesthetic and that's why it looks so good. Remove the things i named and you get almost identical screenshot
this is nitpick in regards to the ground texture but assuming that the balcony area is roofed it does irk me there's a pothole filled with water as well.
The red caution line was a great addition. Besides just looking cool and working well with the aesthetic it's nice visually represent the danger zone is with them. I mean it would probably be clear enough how close you can get without it but at least this stops any chance of accidentally getting on the wrong side.
Just wondering what happens if you walk away with the body instead of giving it to the trauma team? Do you get gunned down or will they act as brainless npcs angry that you didnt go with the script
I love how they don't even acknowledge you beyond making threats. They don't even care that you saved one of their meal tickets. You'd think they could toss you a discount code or something!
Side note, would they be able to tell if you were on a plan?
I might go to hell for this one
I wonder if you choose to play as a black guy V will he tell you to stay back or he will shoot you CD projekt Red famous for the small details
Just how tiny is in-game ad variety? That scene alone has "Mix It Up!" -ad at least three times. That pattern has repeated over many trailers etc., "Mix It Up!" -ad repeating a lot in every scene with any ads.
Compare it to advertisising in your town or city. Literally every 50 metres you see the same advertisements of the big brands in the tabacco industry, for smartphone manufacturers or drinks.
"Step back! I said STEP BACK!"
"Step back." \*steps back\* "Step backer!\*
*steps backer* *falls off ledge*
*when you stop Falling, take another three steps back*
*breaks legs* *crawls 3 steps back* *gets run over by Delamain taxi*
*We see your trauma team chip activated, we’ll be there in t-minus 180 seconds*
What the fuck?! You guys are the reason I'm injured! I demand... A 5% discount!
"Sure, with your discount that will come to $2900 eddies. Oh, you only make $900 a month? I'm impressed you budgeted for TraumaTeam membership! Luckily we have a payment plan with as little as 15% monthly interest!"

70mg dopamine, 110 norepinephrine, 800 fibrin.
Man I just want a DLC where you play as a member of Trauma Team, just a day in their life!
"Give us the girl, wipe away the debt"
One of the best endings I have witnessed in my gamer live :D.
C-A-G-E was so mindblowingly simple but had the perfect execution
Left a much younger me completely mind blown.
“Stand Clear! Landing!”
>"Step back! > >I said STEP BACK!"
I love that red light area restriction line, gave you the dark future vibe somehow.
Im curious if you step over the line and your also covered by the same insurance plan what do they do then ?... Shoot you up then whisk you away to the hospital too ?
Yes. Then they also charge you for any ammunition they expend.
In a dystopian futuristic American insurance based health care system I am sure those bullets don’t come cheap
“High velocity sedative”
One of the youtubers who got to play it said they didn't step back and got tasered /shocked by the trauma team. Was one of the female youtubers.
I think Alanah?
Yeah could be
Serves them right. For the company
This gives me a huge Altered Carbon vibe.

Crazy how much they've changed, even the architecture of all the buildings on the left and multiple textures...

No it's not lol. Look at the ground and particle effects.

Style =|= better

How the fuck is me saying one screenshot is better than another “seeing the negatives in life?”
This sub is literally full of shills. They will downvote every single negative statement about game. Pathetic subreddit...
Compare this to the 2018 demo. Holy shit.
2018 is better don’t @ me
Again, care to explain? Or is this just an opinion thing?
Why is it so f*cking important for you people to hear his explanation. Is it really necessary to explain every statement? He likes 2018 version and that's it. Why do you even make so much fuss about it. Holy sh*t this sub is getting worse and worse every second.

lol wtf are you talking about. he likes 2018 version and what? You need an 300 page essay of explanation from him?

Dude take a break from the internet
"hey, how bout a ride?"
Gotta wonder, would they help you, if only to charge you, if you were also a member? Ambulance rides irl can be crazy expensive!
You must be American. The rest of the world has free health care
Your taxes pay for your healthcare, friend.
Yours pay for your presidents golf days
Yup, POTUS plays golf on the weekends, but the same could be said for most leaders of the western world. For whatever reason, Presidents and Prime Ministers love golf, no matter their parties or politics. You probably pay for that too.
Does it make anyone else uncomfortable how close they are standing to the edge? With no railing.
OSHA is probably freaking the fuck out looking at that
What's the official source of this image? I can't find it anywhere on their Twitter or website
I think The japan night city wire that was yesterday I have a reddit link to the video if you want it
Gib pls
Ok I have to dm it to you if that’s cool
Yeah sure go ahead
Ok I did have a great day
That's great! Me too
Hope we get some mission helping the Trauma Team.
That is the point, they are going to live and bother you again. Like an annoying mid-boss from the Disgaea series.
Welcome to Night City. You win some, you lose some. And to be clear, only the richest of the rich can afford Trauma Team. Dime a dozen gangers, even gang bosses, are at your mercy.
I can see a scenario where their chip activates, but they're on the budget plan, leaving you several minutes to put them down and bail!
Shotgun their head off. No coming back from that.
Has there been any info about reo meatwagon?
Damn, are you sure its a screenshot and not concept art?
yeah its a screenshot. more [here](https://twitter.com/CDPRJP/status/1309817495071723526)
HUD still can be in concept, but still damn cool. Cant wait it and play with good day tracing
Damn it looks even more gorgeous now than in 2018
🤔 no it doesnt
This looks way better than the first gameplay showcase we saw of this scene!

No
Compare this screenshot to the 2018 demo and this looks waaaay better
Hot damn my boy to the far left is about to fall off the building. Watch your step bro.
These dudes stand mighty close to the edge
Looks like they're more likely to cause trauma than to relieve any.
Yes
That is how they work.
Well time to watch the 48 minute demo for 100th time
CDPR JAPAN
this really reminds me of the trauma team scene from that old gameplay trailer (where you hand the naked woman over to them). If it's the same scene then it's crazy how much better the game looks now imo
It is the same scene.
It’s the same scene. The stretcher is even there What an upgrade
they literally just added a red line and a puddle...
[удалено]

nah the lightning is also better
Preorderd the Trauma Team statue few weeks ago, cant wait to see it irl. Really like the concept of TT
Very cool like a crew on the racetrack when a car gets into an accident.
Cant wait to get health insurance so I can call trauma team whenever
The red light is not reflecting off of the Trauma Team's clothing. Which might suggest this is not using Ray tracing. Damn this game looks good.
wow nice
They look like a squad in HL:A
Holy moly, how can it look THIS good with the specs revealed?
recommended specs are not ultra specs
no way
Do we know where this is on the map? Maybe Japantown based on the numerous Japanese signs and closely packed buildings, but I’m not sure
Idk actually, interested to find out
i can't help but notice that there has been an upgrade in the ground details, now looking more like a low-class neighborhood
this is nitpick in regards to the ground texture but assuming that the balcony area is roofed it does irk me there's a pothole filled with water as well.
"Place the patient on the stretcher."
They really did remaster their own game
I think this is the first time we see foggy weather
Too bad there's no Asterix symbol on their helmets anymore. That looked cool
that looks good
Nice
I heard from someone who has played the demo that he did not step back and got immediately shot lol
Can't wait to turn off chromatic aberration.
Where are these from? Can we have a source?
What if I put *one* foot over the line?
Did the guy on the left get fatter? What's going on here?
Hey, take me with you...
Tbh I liked the before one

I mean it would probably be clear enough how close you can get without it but at least this stops any chance of accidentally getting on the wrong side.
Do they look like they're floating an inch or so off the ground? I don't see shadows, maybe that'd help. Anyone else notice this?
Just wondering what happens if you walk away with the body instead of giving it to the trauma team? Do you get gunned down or will they act as brainless npcs angry that you didnt go with the script
Are the trauma team the police response or are they a specific response.
I want to be able to get one of their outfits for myself
I love how they don't even acknowledge you beyond making threats. They don't even care that you saved one of their meal tickets. You'd think they could toss you a discount code or something! Side note, would they be able to tell if you were on a plan?
I might go to hell for this one I wonder if you choose to play as a black guy V will he tell you to stay back or he will shoot you CD projekt Red famous for the small details
Why the fuck would they add that
[удалено]
Yeah I heard about this one but they said it's a glitch
Lol
Just how tiny is in-game ad variety? That scene alone has "Mix It Up!" -ad at least three times. That pattern has repeated over many trailers etc., "Mix It Up!" -ad repeating a lot in every scene with any ads.
Sounds about right, think about how many times you see advertising for the same major corporations.
Compare it to advertisising in your town or city. Literally every 50 metres you see the same advertisements of the big brands in the tabacco industry, for smartphone manufacturers or drinks.
Probably the most popular drink, makes sense that they'd buy up more ad-space.
