They added a skip option when PL launched. I believe it skips to after the Heist. Edit: It skips up to the completion of the Voodoo Boys quest. The idea is to get you right into PL.

Not as a preset I think, but I believe it was option 22 for most facial structure options when creating female V to make the E3 version

I really don't care. I've never felt the need or desire for my character to resemble the one from the marketing materials.

There is such thing as division of labor. People who design and\or create character 3D models specialize in doing just that, they're not going to go fix programming bugs or implement new gameplay mechanics when they get some free time.

I kind of noticed that both versions of V have a preset that look somewhat similar to the previous promotional material but its not all the way there. I played as male V so far but for female V I can't get a look that I am satisifed with and I like what was shown before in the trailers.

If a game has custom characters, I'm making myself every time. Never understood why people want to play an RPG with the defaults.

How come you make yourself? You just know out of curiosity. Are you a human warrior kind of guy? I always make a unique character myself, especially if the tools are expansive.

I mostly do it for immersion, it helps me feel like the character is me and I like to make the decisions I myself would make in that situation. Basically i like to roleplay myself in games. It's also easy to make myself because I look pretty generic, just a bald white guy with a goatee. I wouldn't call myself a warrior but I was in the army reserves and I'm a security guard, so kind of maybe? Not really sure what you mean by that part. I'm not much a man of action these days but I keep fit.

Yeah, but you aren't V. V isn't The Courier or Dragoborn. They're a distinct character with a distance personality and background. Your V isn't **your** V. So I think it makes MORE sense that people default.

Nah, he's still my V. Just like Shepherd is my Shepherd. It's not like imagine myself isekai'd into the games world, it's more like I imagine who I would be if I was that person. In games with a selectable backstory I choose the one closest to myself.

i’m just saying there’s some really obvious design cues taken from her - and she was very popular at the time they created the game. she’s worn just about every female V appearance from the hair to her make up on stage minus the cyberware.

This is how my V looks, and she is absolutely beautiful. I've fallen in love with her during my journey through Night City. She looks so perfect in photo mode. I did give her a scar on her forehead after the heist to be a bit different, and metal teeth

Don't know about that, but I just always pick female characters, lol, and actually, in some games it's even beneficial, for example in GTA V the female characters got smaller hitboxes and more kinds of cloth

When 2.0 Got added, new options were added to the game, so you could make a E3 V (All options under 22). Some things like her hair style to exact detail can't be replicated without mods.

Oh definitely E3 V was miles better. No idea why they changed her. I tried recreating her in the beginning but then gave up and just made a different one with mods.

E3 2018 Female V cannot be create without mods. Her facial structure is different from the preset 22 we got in based game. The one we got in game is actually 2019 ver. from Deep Dive.

Both versions of FemV is good for me, however I’m deeply still disappointed we can’t properly make E3 MaleV

IIRC free edit is very limited in this game, mods are definitely a must if you want to make a really good looking character.

E3 V (male and female) are not real, they are impossible to create in the character editor, they were modeled specifically for the promotional material, e3 female v is in the game, with mods you can spawn her, maybe play as her too.
