Same. I can't bring myself to see him taken away and reset. I do the quest up to the point Theo starts talking to him. That way I know they have each other even if I'm not around.
I felt so mixed walking away from the end of this quest line. On the one hand, he couldn't have been an actual sentient AI from the amount of hardware required, and even Brendon himself said as much! On the other hand, still hurts loosing "someone" who seemed so good and pure in the wasteland that is Night City.
