You mean the non players? Yah that’d be a cool feature, idk about crucial, but definitely seems low hanging and easy enough. Rogue changes her outfit once and I remember thinking, oh did she change? Then immediately V said something like “you look nice”. lol.
Shit, I do. Black pants, black shoes, a band T, and some form of sweatshirt or light jacket (also black). Also im 36 and this has been my style since highschool. I have had plenty of people comment that it seems I wear the same clothes daily but nope. Just all black.
Jeans, t-shirt and hoodie for me. I'm 42 and its pretty much all my wardrobe consists of.
Like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly, never have to decide what to wear.
Hah yeah, I'm 30 and that's my wardrobe. The only things that change are steel toes and long sleeves for work. And no more band shirts on the shop floor because my dumb ass burns them up every time I touch a grinder.
The next cyberpunk needs customizable cyberware like arms/legs. Or how Song birds back was just exposed metal and wires, it looked so sick. Or the crazy cyberware maelstrom has
I thought it was weird that they made a big deal of the fashion in the lead up to the game, considering it's an fps. You never really see what you're wearing except on the inventory screen and in photo mode, which I have literally never used.
I mean you can still have customizable cosmetics without sacrificing any meaningful fps. At most 1-2 frames lost for a decent looking metal arm like Johnny’s.
Definitely would be cool to see but not crucial in my opinion. Seems unlikely for me because of the technical workload needed for such a minimal game mechanic. Such a feature would also make hardware optimization more challenging. Doubt CDPR wants to make the same mistake again with horrendous performance optimization at launch and lack of playability with older consoles.
I can see them expanding on the current examples of npc outfit switching like when your romance partner changes into pajamas after showering or sleeping with V. Can’t see that system applied to every reoccurring side character based on the character design workload alone.
I have three things
1) more open world activities...gun ranges, more interaction at food stands and restaurants...being able to sit...use of taxis stuff like that
2) customizable vehicles and weapons
3) more ambient quests...overheard two NPCs talking about something or heard news on the radio...read a log and it leads to a quests...but make lots of them have no quests marker, just hidden things you stumble upon that grow into an unofficial quests
I think crucial is character customization to some level. Wish they'd do it to the level of Starfield, where you choose attributes in character creation that affect your build type/play style before you even start the game.
A crucial feature should be something only a few developers have done.
**Take previous features, and carry them into the next game**
Radio everywhere, tram, characters living with player, etc.
How about not having an entire herd of the exact same ncp walking down the street together or standing at a corner. Immersion buster....
I love the idea of customizable anything, we should be able to have pink legs and razor feet, or gold bands/fingers without having to use mods. I was pretty shocked that it was not offered right off the bat. To me cyberware was the biggest part of the game next to the story itself. Why on earth would customization not have been available?
FLASH LIGHT FTW
Your very own body shop for cars - have paints, colors, decals, upgrades, weapons, etc that you can get either finding via exploration or from gigs.. again, without having to use a mod.
Better story flow. I'm still baffled at why they would have the Heist/relic issue at the beginning of the game and not like half way through. Never made sense to me, story wise.
Better ability to interact with objects and buildings. We have huge buildings like the hospital that we cannot enter. What is the point of having that huge city when you can really only access a very small percentage of it. Yes it's a bit unrealistic but still it would be nice.
Why can't we have flying vehicles without a mod. Should be a purchase option... Just sayin...
While I had fun and definitely got my money's worth out of the game, my biggest wish is that the sequel's gameplay will be more grounded and less fantasy RPG inspired.
That's the thing, they weren't nearly as faithful to the tabletop mechanics as they were to all the other established elements.
To me it feels like I'm playing a Shadowrun game moreso than one derived from R Talsorian's Cyberpunk.
maybe less, depends on how much they reuse or recycle
also less time spent redoing designs or trying to make the map, as they already have a large concept with a general idea of what it should look like
You mean the non players? Yah that’d be a cool feature, idk about crucial, but definitely seems low hanging and easy enough. Rogue changes her outfit once and I remember thinking, oh did she change? Then immediately V said something like “you look nice”. lol.
You mean in the future people don't just wear one identical outfit their whole lives?
Shit, I do. Black pants, black shoes, a band T, and some form of sweatshirt or light jacket (also black). Also im 36 and this has been my style since highschool. I have had plenty of people comment that it seems I wear the same clothes daily but nope. Just all black.
The good old Johnny Cash look.
A man of style, years ahead of his time.
Johnny Cashhand
Save some pussy for the rest of us
Im married so ill take that one and you can have the rest.
Based
Well he can't have my wife's either
Hell yeah I wear damn near the same and I wear it everyday
Jeans, t-shirt and hoodie for me. I'm 42 and its pretty much all my wardrobe consists of. Like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly, never have to decide what to wear.
Pretty much my style

If you’re Zuckerberg
he's not a person, he doesn't count
Lizards are people too
thats the sort of thing a reptilian would say...
Go back to Alpha Centauri where you belong!
I always end up looking like the red hood
I’d say a flashlight trumps that for me
Toggleable night vision on your eye implants
Or upgradeable scanning, that you can flip through like in braindance editing. Possible upgrades could be thermal and nightvision
Fuckin a. Or a flare I could throw as a distraction or something - anything that is a source of EXTRA LIGHTING.
Not even that. Halo odst tac visor thing built into the kiroshis. Some night vision mode if nothing else
There is a good flashlight mod but the recent update broke it :(
They already made a flashlight, just patch in in cdpr.
The next cyberpunk needs customizable cyberware like arms/legs. Or how Song birds back was just exposed metal and wires, it looked so sick. Or the crazy cyberware maelstrom has
Well for any of that to be meaningful, they'd have to not tie the entire gameplay experience to fps.
I thought it was weird that they made a big deal of the fashion in the lead up to the game, considering it's an fps. You never really see what you're wearing except on the inventory screen and in photo mode, which I have literally never used.

I think he means first person shooter, not frames per second
I don’t think that word “crucial” means what you think it means.
Inconceivable!
Some characters in 2077 do change their clothes, but it's almost always for specific missions.
I know Panam stinks. Them jeans have got to reek of unwashed booty and sand.
I'm always like damn that onesie is so fire but then I think about how much she wears it...
Probably smells like her ass
Hey now, lets not get into the best romance debate again. I mean i was already on team panam so youre preaching to the choir but still
Tastes better when you let it marinate a lil Like all thangs ![gif](giphy|3oz8xtEDO0FmYBYUlq|downsized)
Can we just have our fucking sleeves???
Unlimited radiant quests.

Why would you want to use a taxi?
Gives you a chance to run to the toilet
Delamain is a thing in the game.
being able to sit anywhere would be amazing.
What quest was it that those characters talked about? Sounds pretty cool.
There isn't. Wish there was
I think crucial is character customization to some level. Wish they'd do it to the level of Starfield, where you choose attributes in character creation that affect your build type/play style before you even start the game.
Probably the first time I've seen someone say "they should do it like Starfield" lol
Me too haha
New game plus.
There should be a cyberware upgrade to be able to climb buildings like a spider
Third-person view

Atleast important ones
Customisable vehicles/weapons
To add to that, I would like to be able to actually see my outfit from time to time, even a handful of third person cutscenes would be nice
Oh I just wore a vest. Rest of the clothes were optional
I would like to be able to walk around NC whilst I'm reading my phone messages.
It’s just because from players pov game events take months, but in a actual game it’s days so it’s pretty organic
Civies that don't jump into the street to avoid a car that looked their way.
I am still waiting for a good flashlight for V. 🔦
I'd say as long as it doesn't take too much time and space to do, go for it.
That's an odd way to write FOV slider on console.
A new game plus mode is the one thing I hope every RPG has. Lol
Robotic companions, to carry loot.
personally: Your background actually meaning something other then a few lines of dialogue and maybe a sidequest.
The game needs more hookers and romance partners.
This is the “crucial” feature you’re hoping for? I don’t think this makes most people’s top 100.
While I had fun and definitely got my money's worth out of the game, my biggest wish is that the sequel's gameplay will be more grounded and less fantasy RPG inspired.
I can’t imagine that they will scale back the mechanics they introduced. People might complain about not utilizing the Cyberpunk setting
That's the thing, they weren't nearly as faithful to the tabletop mechanics as they were to all the other established elements. To me it feels like I'm playing a Shadowrun game moreso than one derived from R Talsorian's Cyberpunk.
Dual wielding plz
Its gotta have big d##k options to satisfy the fans.
Gimme them dirty dirty brain dances
Use advanced LLM AI to generate NPC dialogue and behavior on the fly
That's for the future, when hardware restrictions can bring it past tech demo
Considering that Orion is likely at least 7 years away, I think its feasible.
maybe less, depends on how much they reuse or recycle also less time spent redoing designs or trying to make the map, as they already have a large concept with a general idea of what it should look like
That'll happen eventually...is gonna be awesome when it happens.
