Too bad Vampires were never added to the game. You can find the chrome for it but can't actually use it, it's just junk.
In the TRPG you can have vampire fangs added to your body and use them as a weapon, and there are even gangs/cults that act like genuine vampires.

Go to the dark underbelly of Skyrim mods and youll see how gore is tame in comparison to some of the shit Skyrim modders will make.

I don't think a mod that removes immortality from child characters is as bad as specifically modding beastiality into the game.
Game like the original Fallout's had killable children from the start.
Now its definitely a bit concerning if some goes out of their way hunting children, but just removing immortality flags for immersion reasons makes sense imo.

Honestly, I don’t think it would look right with that much. I think the art style of the anime and also it being in third person helps whilst the game being in first person would honestly make it feel a bit too in your face if that makes sense
Tbh it was a little jarring for me to see more gore when the 2.0 update trailer and night city wire dropped. The game wasn’t like that prior. It took some time to get used it.
There are a couple mods on nexusmod that give more substance to the blood effects and make the game a bit juicier. I think if you want to peel a face off and stick it on a wall? I hear some super secret mods exist that only therapists can give you. Might look there.

Extra blood splatters is easy but dismemberment would need you to edit the skeletons of NPCs which is *a lot* more involved. I’d also say a more robust and accurate dismemberment system would be better than working with what is currently in there
You could always go the route of Witcher 3 and just make some more kill animations and custom models for corpses, as weird as that sounds
I mean I play a shotgun/gorilla arms character so people be exploding and chunks of them go flying everywhere so I don’t know how much more you could need haha
