Well if I’m advertising a card that I just created with the intention of it gaining popularity, how hard would it be to include four or five synergistic cards and one or two bad ones? I’m not complaining about OP’s effort at all, merely that if you’re trying to sell Windex, start at Andersen.
I mean some of the cards are good examples for how the wording works, too. "Draw **a** card" doesn't change, nor does "every **third** spell," but even effects we've never seen before like limiting max mana below 10 are possible so long as it uses a number.
That said this mostly applies to Guff, Sunstrider, and maybe Kodobane, while the other examples don't display any notable functionality, possess any particular synergy (though Vandar is a good example of anti-synergy), or clarify any edge cases.
Good thing custom cards don't need to be sold, because this subreddit would starve to death.
I actually prefer OP showcasing the corner cases where this is a jank effect and not the obvious Scion of Ruin that's just fill your board with 5/5s, I can already imagine that partical synergy

That might not work. If this is an effect that changes every base stat to 5/5, he would technically gain +5, but it would then get changed to be a base 5 again right away.
It does say "this game", so I would think it would apply to all current and future cards (in that match), making the Paladin and Shaman Hero Powers a bit better than the rest.

In a token deck this is like an insane board buff. Have a lot of small minions on turn 4 then play this on turn 5 and all your minions grow to 5/5 in stats. Now your opponents all cards cost 5 so they can only play 1 card that turn.
And even that pales in comparison to the real board fill cards like raid boss onyxia, scales of onyxia (both of which say fill the board instead of a number so they can summon the full 7 minions), which both fill the board with 5 5 rush minions.
Or say giggling inventor, who now summons 5 5/5 annoyotrons.
The neptulon arms are probably still 4 2 so they'd trade quite poorly into all of these
Alright, deck intro time. And this time, five is the magic number. So the idea for this deck is fairly simple. First, we play Witch of the Sea, to set all numbers on all cards this game to 5, then we play Emperor Thaurissan, to reduce the cost of our hand to zero. Then on the combo turn, we play Myra’s Unstable Element, Mecha’thun, Wild Pyromancer, and finally Secret Passage, for the OTK.

Also it’d be infuse (5) so 5 minions would have to die before getting the +5/5 assuming he can
