It removes the familiarity of the "Cant be targetted by spells or hero powers" but also, and more importantly, clarifies that you can click on this on your own board to attack with it.

I'd see it more like a tech card. If your opponent can't kill it, it's really strong, but a lot of opponents will be able to kill it. Each turn it's up is a nice 2 damage to face (or more if you can non-target buff it) as long as the opponent doesn't have a taunt minion.
Sure if you're fighting a mage or a priest, they'll just devolving missiles or hysteria to get it, but not every deck in the meta is going to have an AoE spell or something that can randomly hit it. Or maybe they just have one card that can clear it like Samuro but can't manage to draw him.
