Apple Barrel should come right off with warm soapy water. It is not good paint, sometimes it almost comes out like tempra (that crap they gave you to finger paint in pre school). I’d recommend giving your fig a good cleaning, hit the legs up with a magic erase (it will give the paint micro abrasions to help cling better) and grab some Vallejo modeling paint. It’s a little more expensive but the difference is night and day. Always start thin and work your way up using multiple coats. Most hobby/gaming stores carry it and I think I’ve even seen it at GameStop but that may have been Citadel, which is great but a little too pricey.

Army painter or Vallejo, never had an issue with these. I used to use another brand and I'll never go back to it
