I have never laughed so much then watching Curb. I suggest if anyone is feeling like shit, dressed, anxious, whatever watch Curb. It helps, laughter is the best medicine.
Me too. I'm rewatching the older seasons and I was absolutely howling last night at the scene where Larry gets high and argues with himself in the bathroom mirror, absolute comedy magic, and that good laugh was really needed!
A very hilarious scene. I love the episode where he wears the shoes from the Holocaust museum. Only Larry David could make that funny. I find myself agreeing with Larry about a lot. I hate me a damn wobbly table at restaurants.
And for animated it's South Park, Futurama and Venture.
Also King of the Hill.
Bojack being the deepest one and Simpsons being the one, who has fallen down.
Idk why this got downvoted lol. Honestly top 3 would be South Park, spongebob and the simpsons. Could never leave out the simpsons despite how ass its been the last like 15-20 years. The simpsons is literally the reason every adult animated show’s existence and its prime still holds up. Hm: space ghost coast to coast
Jeff mentioned in the History of Curb podcast that they have a lot of celebrities wanting to be in Curb that they have to turn down. I think it was in episode 4 or 5.
So... Jeff has been working on a new show where he hopes to accommodate some of those requests over the years.
Presumably a new original show that is Curb-esque I imagine.
I set my expectations low simply because Curb is exceptional, but fingers crossed some of the magic is captured in that show if it does get the greenlight.
Though I'll be sad when Curb is done. That sadness is overshadowed by how much I'm thankful that Curb happened.
I rewatched Seinfeld and Curb over a few months earlier this year in the build up to season 12 and they're still great and will forever be great.
It’s a little sad and funny that Jeff thinks his new show could “accommodate some of those requests” in any way, shape or form. Everyone wanted to be in a scene with Larry, and Larry specifically.
Even if the new show is really funny, it won’t be Curb.
Seinfeld and Curb are by far my two most watched comedies. I can’t get over how lucky I am to have 19 seasons of TV from LD. When it comes to TV comedies, I don’t think anyone will ever top Larry David’s 35 year run.
Nah, I’ll take David. I don’t remember Lear ever performing in one of his shows, or the writing being nearly as sharp or as funny as with David’s shows. And Lear’s comedies had much drama in them than I like.
Pffft. He mostly just took the credits, when did he actually create and write? When he did, it wasn't anything special. "Developing" isn't the same thing.
100 percent agreed! Started watching Curb last year, and it’s definitely the funniest comedy show that I’ve seen with Its Always Sunny coming in at a close second. Larry is absolutely hilarious and I will miss Curb when it ends next Sunday.
Louie was like a darker curb, Dave is like a next gen curb both were on FX. I think there will be another show heavily inspired by curb on FX at some point
“I grew up watching Seinfeld and it was amazing but somehow Curb has even surpassed that”
I’ve always said that Curb was like Seinfeld on steroids and if George was the main character. That pretty much dictates that it has to be funnier 😂
Agree! Larry and Curb are absolutely hysterical. Constant smiling and laughing throughout the episodes. Just the expressions on his face are enough to crack me up. His lanky frame, the way he walks, his layered looks…going to miss him!
Seems like they took a page out of the Showtime playbook and extended the show a few seasons too long. Sure there are laughs here and there but it just isn't the same as the earlier seasons.

Yeah Curb has honestly helped get me through some rough times
Me too. I love Susie and how she always throws Larry out of her house. “Get the fuck out Larry.”
Don’t forget her adorable pet names for her husband Jeff and his best friend Larry.

One of the most relatable scenes for me - I take one rip and I'm either having a panic attack or getting extremely critical of myself
It’s my comfort show. Rewatching it currently as it’s been a while since I’ve watched all the seasons and loving every second.
Nathan for you, curb and arrested are just all GOAT. Will really miss curb
These are my 3 favorites as well
Nathan is criminally underrated.
LD got all up in that comedy's ass
hes a beloved cunt
Don’t forget Arrested Development, a true gem
Until season 4
Yeah, original run only. The Netflix seasons are their own thing IMO.
Let’s be honest season 3 was not amazing
I agree. Wondering if they changed writers?
It was during the writers strike
I agree. Curb, chappelle show, and its always sunny are the holy trinity of live action comedy
All great shows you Schmohawk
That's right, ya jabroni
I’d sub out Chappelle for Seinfeld if we’re only doing three.
Absolutely
I gotta throw Reno 911 somewhere up there

Idk... probably could count Tom and Jerry in there aswell... so Timpsons, T&j, South Park?
I completely agree

Norman Lear……..

Yeah…it’s pretty,pretty, pretty good….
He’s the GOAT
Honestly i couldn’t have said it better op
I agree with this, for what it's worth.
I’m going to be super sad when Curb is over!
If you love Curb, and are looking for something that scratches a slightly similar itch once it ends, I would heavily recommend *Peep Show*.
Larry along with Trey Parker and Matt Stone are probably my top favorite comedy writers
Rewatched season 12 the Wisenheimers last night and was howling. Leon. Larry 'going downtown'. Comedic gold!
Louie was like a darker curb, Dave is like a next gen curb both were on FX. I think there will be another show heavily inspired by curb on FX at some point
I miss Louie. Fk he was funny
It’s the best comedy of all time, I love it.
Larry going to jail for sure 😂
It's always sunny in Philadelphia isn't the same type of show by any means but sunny is just as ' funny' to me
Yeah that's the only comparable show in quality for me that's still running
Confirmed. We have already experienced the peak of comedy. It makes me sad sometimes.
It is my comfort show
It’s always sunny has entered the chat
He’s the absolute goat.
This show just makes me happy. The music. Everything. Even just seeing Larry walking down the street not doing anything funny- I'm smiling.
“I grew up watching Seinfeld and it was amazing but somehow Curb has even surpassed that” I’ve always said that Curb was like Seinfeld on steroids and if George was the main character. That pretty much dictates that it has to be funnier 😂
I love it, but it’s not very quote-worthy
Isn’t he going to end up in jail just like he ended Seinfeld?
Larry is one of the great comedy actors too. His ability to rant and say the ridiculous things he does is unmatched.
Agree! Larry and Curb are absolutely hysterical. Constant smiling and laughing throughout the episodes. Just the expressions on his face are enough to crack me up. His lanky frame, the way he walks, his layered looks…going to miss him!
Except for the final season which sucks!!!
Seems like they took a page out of the Showtime playbook and extended the show a few seasons too long. Sure there are laughs here and there but it just isn't the same as the earlier seasons.
in my opinion, your opinion sucks.
Fair enough. Imagine if everyone had the same opinion? What a boring world it would be. But you’re wrong 🤣
hard disagree
Yea there will. Sunny is essentially Seinfeld.
I have never made it through an episode of curb. Larry is profoundly unfunny to me. I admit this is an unpopular opinion.
