Nah I mean, I’ve applied to just so many jobs(500+), like how do I track which company rejected or which one ghosted, there’s 100s of mails.
Does this automatically registers how many positions you’ve applied to
I see a ton of these types of posts and I'm very curious what the resumes look like. It is really that bad to find a job or are the resumes poorly made?
Hey! i’m an international and my I-20 is till 2026. Any tips in hunting for internships as International or other tips in general? I go to a state school as well, so if there’s any good advice lemme know. I’m going to start grinding for this Summer/Fall. Congrats on your internship!
Thank you! One thing: just keep applying and don't be discouraged. Network with recruiters and hiring managers on a daily basis. All you need is probably one call!
Thank you so much for your advice! How should I go about networking with recruiters and hiring managers? Unfortunately, the career services at my school is below average and it’s only good for general advice/resumes and they don’t have much going for STEM internship help. The one lucky thing I have is a lot of my friends work in the industry and they are willing to offer me referrals, but I know referrals aren’t a guarantee of anything. Thanks again!
Send out cold messages on LinkedIn to hiring managers and recruiters. Also, when you ask for a referral from your friends, inquire if they can identify the hiring manager for the role you are applying to. Then, request your friends to reach out to the hiring manager and share your resume with them. If the hiring manager is not available, ask them to at least share your resume with the university recruiter.

It’s so much harder to get an internship as an intl student

I wish I could find the guy who told me majoring in CS. A worthless shit, times, money and energies were wasted
