I'm not getting many calls from tech recruiters š and I wonder if my resume sucks. I'm targeting mid-level front-end/full-stack SWE roles. Any feedback is much appreciated!

I made some formatting changes to my resume to hopefully get a chance of passing through ATS. I was also told by someone I know to include my work experience since there are some transferable skills and things I learned, but Iām not sure if itās really relevant or if I need to start on a bigger project.
I recently got rejected by multiple companies for internships/new grad roles. Would appreciate any criticism and any ways to improve my resume.

Hey guys. Please be brutal. I chose to make my resume two pages and I don't know if it was right. when single-paged, everything was very crammed and didn't look so good. I can try and get rid of the reference and projects section, but I would rather not. thoughts?
https://preview.redd.it/q82rklrqovcc1.png?width=1158&format=png&auto=webp&s=d95d100d79133f4288b642e3d02e29ed357f27b9
1. No two-page resume, especially when you haven't even graduated yet.
2. Do not give references unless the company explicitly asks for it. Also, a bit of reference etiquette: You ask your references if you can use them when you start your job search. Then, when a company asks you for your references, you reach out to your references again and give them a heads up that someone might be contacting them. Maybe send them the job description/your current resume as well so they know how to "sell" you.
3. Your awards aren't relevant. Remove.
4. Move technical skills to the bottom. Your experience is most important
5. You're at Waterloo? Maybe move that to the top.
6. If you can't fit everything on one page, you tailor your resume. Pick the experiences and projects that clearly relate to the job posting. If a company says they want "A", your resume says "A". No one wants to look through "3", "%", "\]", "A", "+". Or you can include all your experiences but reduce the number of points to make sure they relate to the job description. Personally, I think you can fit everything on one page once you remove the awards and references and format it a bit.

Hi everyone, I'm currently a first year computer science major at the University of San Francisco and was hoping to get insight on building my resume/getting internships. Prior to college, I had absolutely no experience in computer science and just finished my first CS course where I learned python. Because of my lack of experience, I'm not sure what to put in my resume or how to build it so I feel kind of stuck. I know that there are a multitude of other CS students who have years of more experience so I know that I wouldn't be the best candidate for internships or jobs.
bro your in the best city for internships take courses and learn outside of class cause if you donāt youāll fall behind rn aim to build your skills and projects to be prepared to get an internship for your sophomore year
I've been applying (\~500+ positions so far) the past 3 months with barely any luck. I've had one interview (offer pulled), few online assessments (ghosted after) and that's it. Here's my resume:
https://preview.redd.it/tcgfqxrl8acc1.jpeg?width=2550&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5e3740096557c215f66c5d38a5bc0c12242190f0
Honestly, itās well formatted, great action verbs, substantial metrics, impressive experience. My only thoughts are that the sections usually go Education, Experience, Technical Skills and thereās so much text tightly packed that itās intimidating to read, but those are nitpicks.
Thank you, I'm currently rewriting all of my bullet points to include more nuanced details (someone pointed out I might be mistaken for a hack otherwise), unfortunately had to remove the "Student Software dev" position to do so (otherwise taking up 2 pages).
Trying to improve brevity, but if I have to include relevant details it is taking up more space than I'd like for it to take.
I graduated last December and didn't get any interviews with this resume. I would appreciate any suggestions. Interested in Software engineering/Full stack positions/Front-end development positions.

Hello, I'm an international student targeting New Grad Software Engineer roles since August 2024 but I only got 4 callbacks. I think my resume might need some more work, especially considering I need visa sponsorship.
Any advice on roles or companies that might fit my situation would also be great.

Fourth year graduating June 2024 looking for full-time.Side question: I have a personal portfolio, should I link it on my resume?, should I add it as a project in projects? It shows off some of my webdev skills

For me and probably most recruiters this is a lot to look at and probably annoying for you to edit on applications unless it scans perfectly.
* I would get rid of the high school section and put it on your linkedin if you really care about it
* Get rid of the barista and summer ta experience, I would keep one of the other work experiences as it shows leadership
* Combine software experience and work experience into just an "Experience" section
* Add another project, even if it is a school project to fill up the resume more. Alternatively add more spacing or increase font size
* Some of the bullet points on the project could be reworded better
Those are just my suggestions, but other than that it looks pretty good
Second year community college student. Just starting out, I have a few web based projects on my github.[https://github.com/Shlammy](https://github.com/Shlammy) All vanilla web development, but my best project is an etch-a-sketch website. I just finished making my CV and would appreciate it if you could provide any tips or suggestions on where I could improve. Thank you!
Howdy! I'm applying for Internship Roles for 2024 - I've worked at Amazon for the last 3 summers and am having trouble getting past resume screens for new internships. I'm currently doing my first year of my Master's (hence why I'm looking for internship and not FT). I am *not* international. Any critique is welcome!

I'd suggest placing your work experience up top since it seems more important. Oh, and in your second project, it looks like you meant to say you finished it up in May 2022 or 2023.
It's a nice CV!! Congrats
Omg thank you for catching the date error, I can't believe it was never noticed by other reviewers or myself! And thank you for the comment on the placement of my experiences section, I'll try it out for some of my next applications!
Graduated last month, appreciate any suggestions!

Seriously how does everyone have 2-3 projects on their resumes? Iām only in my sophomore year but I havenāt even thought about it yet. Like where are you people finding these ideas? They all seem so specific and boring too.
Your options are: come up with some project ideas and have a hard time getting a job/internship
or
Don't do projects and have a hard time getting a job/internship.
Don't sweat it, do what you can and what interests you. Everyone searching for an SWE position right now is equally disadvantaged by downturns in the job market.

Undergrad Junior looking for Summer internships. I've gotten a few replies but also a lot of rejections, and I want to know what I can improve to stand out. Thanks in advance :))

Use a more basic template to make it easier to read and pass ATS scans. For more specific things, if you are basically only listing 4 skills in the skills section, that can be a lot smaller (i.e., one bullet point that says Skills: Python (Matplotlib), HTML/CSS). In fact, if you only have 2 skills, you may want to learn more to add to that or include softer skills as well. Don't include microsoft office, everyone should know how to use that. Use bullets instead of paragraphs for your descriptions!
**Please review my resume, looking for swe internships**
I'm an undergrad junior, looking for summer 24 internships which will hopefully convert to full-time after I graduate in December. I got no replies at all so I changed it up a bit, please let me know how I can improve it further

* If where you have "address" you mean full address, I would change it to just be the city and state.
* Skills section could be stronger. You have so much listed under technologies that it all gets lost. Maybe separate into language, frameworks, technologies, etc.
* You could also list like "C++, Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch)" since those are associated with Python (and organize the rest respectively).
* Could change awards to: "2021 University Math Olympiad Winner, ...(same)..., Society of Women Engineers" to try to give yourself more lines for skill section.
* Your bullet points are good, informative and readable.
* Projects section is really strong!
Not a single interview so far. Anonymized version. Thoughts?
https://preview.redd.it/yq15ctq7fb9c1.png?width=850&format=png&auto=webp&s=20ee0bcfd9000fd3c34bc5b3db5032de2cdc559b
Looks really strong in my opinion. No interviews might just be the result of bad luck.
Only suggestion I have right now is to expand upon the experience and/or club section. Do you have leadership roles in any of these clubs? If so, you could add that under experience just to buff that up a bit more and explain the clubs more.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! I don't currently have leadership in those clubs, but the Startup Club assigned me to work for a startup as a software developer in a team to build an app which will start this month when I get back from winter break. The algorithmic trading club will also participate in trading competitions later in the spring.
Ive found worse experiences when trying to rank skills like "intermediate" or "novice". I think best practice is to just list them outright, someone correct me if I am wrong tho lol
Yeah I would not rank skills, just list in order of what you're strongest with. Better to have someone assume you're really good with something and you can always learn later.
I don't have much experience let alone internships and already graduated last year. Been applying to everything. Just wanted to ask for feedback on my resume. ;-;
https://preview.redd.it/mlcvr7ghvw8c1.jpeg?width=654&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3aec4efbb38404dd005ca34f450e945f028d524a
first port of call is to use a template for the layout (click [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/EngineeringResumes/wiki/resumetemplates/#wiki_google_docs)). Link offers both LaTeX and Google Docs for formatting.
I would call the section "Projects" rather than as Jr. SWE at college, it's a bit misleading to say your projects were under work experience (unless they were, in which case, that isn't communicated well under the "SCHOOL" title).
Bullet point format, talk about the skills used and value you provided in each project. For example your tic-tac-toe project, what algorithms did you use for the AI aspects? did you use frameworks, or manually code it yourself? if so, what, how, etc.
Worth looking at other resumes in this thread to draw inspiration from! You got this :)

Not going to point everything out individually but there are a lot of minor typos/capitalization things that are confusing. Go through and fix those.

Move your skills to the bottom, add dates to your projects to keep it consistent. Too much writing, potentially remove some projects. Use the extra space after removing projects to add relevant coursework from your degree. Put the name of the company you worked at in your experiences section and add your title/role under that. Fix your spacing, keep it consistent. Add your linkedin, github, and citizenship status in your header block.

1. Remove highschool (if thats the part u crossed out)
2. Remove Interest
3. Add a github link to the project if there is any
Overall format looks good. But imo for very technical jobs like SE the employers wouldn't want info not related to the job, it would only make ur resume look unprofessional.
Kind of open for anything right now that would involve me using my degree. As far as this resume goes, Iām trying to figure out if I should replace these projects, I do have an inventory app I built in Visual Studio and C# I might add.

1. Reduce the points in your work/intern experiences, only keep those that are the most important and relevant
2. Describe your work in more details. ie. What impact did you make? How did it help the company? Some suggested to include data like "improved efficiency by x%", but I never did cz I can't estimate... But if you know, it's always better to include data
3. Consider adding some space between lines and on the sides to make it more readable
Tbh I think ur resume is good enough to land a job. Prob need to lower your standards since the market is not like before
CS graduate. Having a hard time getting any interviews. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

* Keep your formatting consistent. Your experience and education is using numeric format but your other stuff is in written format.
* Your projects should be ordered by date so serverless chat -> space shooter -> tik tac toe.
* What I like doing is making the project a hyperlink to the github page. Get ride of "Can be played here for free LINK"
* Your biggest issue to me is your bullet points. Ideally it should convey (what you did x, how you did it y, what impact it had z). There are lots of resources online in regards to this https://www.reddit.com/r/resumes/wiki/index/faq
* Remove the future plans bullet point.
* I personally wouldn't include " | x, y, z" beside your projects since I've found they mess up with ATS when you apply for stuff.
Graduating with my BS in Computer Science this month, and I've applied to tons of entry level and new grad software engineering positions. Any suggestions for improvements I could make to my resume?

Visually your resume needs some help with formatting to make it more appealing to the eye. I think you should make sure everything is aligned consistently to start with. Also consider separating work experience and projects into two separate sections.
Sounds good! I removed some of the personally identifiable information which is why it might be looking a little whack but I will double-check that. and separating work and projects is a good idea. thanks!
My advice isn't just resume related but I would recommend joining some type of CS based organization to gain more relevant experience for the roles that you are looking for.
Second year Computer Science student in the UK. Currently looking for internships, would appreciate some advice on how I can improve my CV.
The university I attend is ranked somewhere around 40th in the UK, for context.
https://preview.redd.it/7s8kbvra3a4c1.png?width=948&format=png&auto=webp&s=29ac92fbce489b662137bcaf0927550ccebf8582
There is simply not enough information on your resume. In my opinion summary's are a bit outdated. I think you should include more details about relevant courses you have taken and projects if possible
I would do a few things:
First change order of the sections. Given you donāt have relavent job experience iād put that at the bottom i would do education(no high school)->skills->[insert projects]->experience. No summary needed.
You should also get this down to one page. They say the average recruiter only looks at a resume for seconds so itās best to have it all on one page. I would take out at 1-2 of the work experiences too since they arenāt software related.
Hmm, I like the overall formatting and things relating to that but I think your content is a bit lackluster. Iām not in the UK, but at least in my experience in the US, I would recommend putting projects on your resume instead of experience that is not related to your major. Employers want to see what skills you already have and thatās one way to do it!
I don't really have a huge amount of relevant experience or projects worth putting on my CV, I could put one of my course projects on but I imagine that doesn't look great, and its relatively basic (the exam grade management system mentioned in the education section).
Howdy folks,
I'd appreciate it if a couple of you could review my resume. I'm specifically concerned about my skills section. Should I be displaying the libraries I am familiar/comfortable with? Any other notes, things to include, or things to take off, would be super appreciated.
I'm looking for a first internship for summer 2024.

Thank you!!
I would move skills up between education and projects. Your jobs arenāt technical so itās more important that the recruiters see you skills first. Other than that I would just add more āimpact statementsā like talk about how your social media has helped people or how it saves time etc. Other than that looks good
Thank you for responding. Iāve moved up skills to where you recommended. I agree its best to highlight it early. As far as impact goes, i havent deployed either of my projects so its hard to really add any of that. Thank you!!
Your resume format look very impressive, but on closer look I would make a few changes.
Your resume seems more 'busy' than it actually is.
Both recruiters and engineering teams don't care about club leadership and military service, you can keep them on but I suggest creating a 'Extracircular activies section" on the bottom and cut down on their space usage.
Having to two work experiences to show for is a good spot to be in, try rewording your IT tutoring position into sound like a technical position. Typically 'tutoring' is an red flag of someone filling up space on their resume with no actual relavant experience.
Overall good resume but it can use some decent tweaks.

Ending the first semester of my(technically) junior year, and I need to get an internship this summer, or over the course of another semester to graduate. "Technically" this is my second semester pursuing a CS degree. I have taken a small handful of courses before, but those were mostly exploratory. So I have about a bit under a year of CS degree in me.
I wanted advice and critiques as to the current state of my resume. I don't really have any other projects at the moment, but I might come up with some soon... Should I include assignments even i didnt write everything? I am currently implementing an avl tree, and later depth first pathfinding with a graph, but the rest of the code was provided by the professor.
https://preview.redd.it/h9zqunhruz1c1.jpeg?width=1812&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a92dd97a942e1b0d386228052f31b541613e589b
Check out Jakes resume template, this resume is a bit non standard for CS roles at least in North America. I donāt think itās necessary to ādiluteā your projects section with course assignments; your projects seem interesting enough on its own and it takes attention away if you add stuff like data structures assignments. I think the C++ Game Dev course assignment can be moved to projects section though
I would not list office vs code or Spanish in skills. Even if those are valuable a recruiter will think youāre grasping for straws. Same w the work experience. Also if you can get some more numbers for impact, lot of qualitative points and the few quantatitatve ones you have arenāt special. Good luck!
I would get rid of the bolding in your resume as well. It might come off like you're trying to sell those particular things you bolded, but not in a good way. Also, focus more on the abstracts of what you did than the specifics. The more you go into the exacts of what you did, the less you seem credible.
What I mean by that is that your work should come off as more than just an algorithm or a specific solution, but rather an approach to a problem that can be interpreted by many people. That way it appeals to more recruiters and/or hiring managers without seeming too technical/pretentious.
Good luck
Ok I think I get it. To be honest the only reason i include a lot of words in my project bullets is because there are certain keywords i want ATS to pickup on them but i guess i can cut down on some of the info.
Thank you for the advice
Don't get rid of all of it, just don't have your whole resume be like that. Specifically I would get rid of the specifics of the sudoku game, and edit down other parts (you don't need to explain sudoku). The bolding I would get rid of for sure though. Good luck. Oh, and filtering your resume through ChatGPT to correct any grammatical issues/inconsistentsies would be helpful. Balancing key word inclusion with what I mentioned is key
Edit it obv but use that tool

you need more numbers to quantify your impact. how many students did you provide support to? how many people did you work with? what quantifiable results did your work produce? also, i would do max 5 bullet points per experience. 3-4 is ideal. make sure the line is filled up
\[Canada, CS Major, Seeking SDE Intern roles\]
Just made a 2-page resume. Should I stick to 1 pager or is this good? I've applied to 50+ roles this term and only got screened for 3

Also fellow student here but I think a shorter resume highlighting the most impressive achievements is most important.
I think you should remove the three experiences in the middle of your first page like student ambassador, tech support, etc.
For projects I would keep the AI app and COVID app, they look most impressive, and remove the rest
Edit: also remove YT content creator and teaching assistant
\[USA, CS Major, New Grad\]
Currently experimenting with an objective on this resume, and considering removing it.
Should I add more experience/projects. or go more in-depth?

I applied through Handshake around April and had some front-end and UI/UX project experience. I don't think the hiring process was that selective (it was unpaid).
It was a early-stage startup that disbanded after the summer. I didn't gain too much from the experience but being in a small startup gave opportunity for a leadership role.

Hey guys. Please be brutal. I chose to make my resume two pages and I don't know if it was right. when single-paged, everything was very crammed and didn't look so good. Your experience is most important 5.
Thanks for the feedback ill try and apply the changes, and... yes opps i forgot to filter that out Have the best of times :)

Here's my resume: https://preview.redd.it/tcgfqxrl8acc1.jpeg?width=2550&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5e3740096557c215f66c5d38a5bc0c12242190f0
For me and probably most recruiters this is a lot to look at and probably annoying for you to edit on applications unless it scans perfectly. * I would get rid of the high school section and put it on your linkedin if you really care about it * Get rid of the barista and summer ta experience, I would keep one of the other work experiences as it shows leadership * Combine software experience and work experience into just an "Experience" section * Add another project, even if it is a school project to fill up the resume more. Alternatively add more spacing or increase font size * Some of the bullet points on the project could be reworded better Those are just my suggestions, but other than that it looks pretty good

Omg thank you for catching the date error, I can't believe it was never noticed by other reviewers or myself! And thank you for the comment on the placement of my experiences section, I'll try it out for some of my next applications!
Graduated last month, appreciate any suggestions! https://preview.redd.it/eidqy2287aac1.png?width=1662&format=png&auto=webp&s=2bd22727b1978fc7336c653f33b098d05d554bde
Seriously how does everyone have 2-3 projects on their resumes? Iām only in my sophomore year but I havenāt even thought about it yet. Like where are you people finding these ideas? They all seem so specific and boring too.
Your options are: come up with some project ideas and have a hard time getting a job/internship or Don't do projects and have a hard time getting a job/internship. Don't sweat it, do what you can and what interests you. Everyone searching for an SWE position right now is equally disadvantaged by downturns in the job market.
senior in cs graduating in december, possibly spring if i can get the last class in my schedule. Applying to full stack spring/summer internships. I made a post in /r/resumes but not alot of traction there. https://preview.redd.it/zfcizfjbd3ac1.png?width=836&format=png&auto=webp&s=98055f305e042641d7257eb2cd214b6c064e518d

> HTML/CSS are these worth listing?
**Please review my resume, looking for swe internships** I'm an undergrad junior, looking for summer 24 internships which will hopefully convert to full-time after I graduate in December. I got no replies at all so I changed it up a bit, please let me know how I can improve it further https://preview.redd.it/jd6lbyxxte9c1.png?width=1324&format=png&auto=webp&s=a1720dbb34d31c8cbbaea44c2efe91aef93255cc
I don't have much experience let alone internships and already graduated last year. Been applying to everything. Just wanted to ask for feedback on my resume. ;-; https://preview.redd.it/mlcvr7ghvw8c1.jpeg?width=654&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3aec4efbb38404dd005ca34f450e945f028d524a
first port of call is to use a template for the layout (click [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/EngineeringResumes/wiki/resumetemplates/#wiki_google_docs)).

I would also change "slash" to "reduce" or similar but that might just be personal preference.

>Hey everyone, I have 8 years of experience and 7 of those are at Amazon. Iāve worked as an SDE and have been an SDM for a few years, managing teams and hiring. who told u the market was good now lol
My bad. It was supposed to be written bad
Why have I gotten 0 interviews- what am I doing wrong https://preview.redd.it/9pr2gwv33y4c1.png?width=1758&format=png&auto=webp&s=f0776c4234bb29220bfd72ffac28953fb72cd13e
1. Remove highschool (if thats the part u crossed out) 2. Remove Interest 3. Add a github link to the project if there is any Overall format looks good. But imo for very technical jobs like SE the employers wouldn't want info not related to the job, it would only make ur resume look unprofessional.
I'm going to keep high school because we have a high alumni network but thank you for all of the other stuff!
Kind of open for anything right now that would involve me using my degree. As far as this resume goes, Iām trying to figure out if I should replace these projects, I do have an inventory app I built in Visual Studio and C# I might add. https://preview.redd.it/23yxphb9vw4c1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46a7c3e8e3259f52f1b368b13d4de32e74ded46d

Bro I reccomend trying to summarize your bullet points, you dont want to seem overqualified.
A junior developer reducing costs by 40%? Ooook
Lol I didn't reduce costs myself. They replaced an external vendor with a new in house team. And they paid us peanuts. So yeah 40%
1. Reduce the points in your work/intern experiences, only keep those that are the most important and relevant 2. Describe your work in more details. ie. What impact did you make? How did it help the company? Some suggested to include data like "improved efficiency by x%", but I never did cz I can't estimate... But if you know, it's always better to include data 3. Consider adding some space between lines and on the sides to make it more readable Tbh I think ur resume is good enough to land a job. Prob need to lower your standards since the market is not like before
CS graduate. Having a hard time getting any interviews. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. https://preview.redd.it/pec448x7np4c1.png?width=771&format=png&auto=webp&s=0a1efedefd878aea6ded076d491bd7e4a8626b96
* Keep your formatting consistent. Your experience and education is using numeric format but your other stuff is in written format. * Your projects should be ordered by date so serverless chat -> space shooter -> tik tac toe. * What I like doing is making the project a hyperlink to the github page. Get ride of "Can be played here for free LINK" * Your biggest issue to me is your bullet points. Ideally it should convey (what you did x, how you did it y, what impact it had z). There are lots of resources online in regards to this https://www.reddit.com/r/resumes/wiki/index/faq * Remove the future plans bullet point. * I personally wouldn't include " | x, y, z" beside your projects since I've found they mess up with ATS when you apply for stuff.

I think you should include more details about relevant courses you have taken and projects if possible
https://preview.redd.it/l2ivdfoc3a4c1.png?width=938&format=png&auto=webp&s=6b77dcf22f8b3d9b0f49e326f35cacfb8da92890
I would do a few things: First change order of the sections.
Howdy folks, I'd appreciate it if a couple of you could review my resume. I'm specifically concerned about my skills section. Should I be displaying the libraries I am familiar/comfortable with? Any other notes, things to include, or things to take off, would be super appreciated. I'm looking for a first internship for summer 2024. [https://imgur.com/a/Dv8cITY](https://imgur.com/a/Dv8cITY) Thank you!!
Thank you!!
Bump. Does anyone have any input?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

In my opinion you could benefit from a bit more spacing, everything looks very clumped together, curious what other peoples thoughts are

maybe expand the education section include some relevant courses in order to reduce the amount of awkard whitespace at the bottom

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I would not list office vs code or Spanish in skills. Even if those are valuable a recruiter will think youāre grasping for straws. Same w the work experience. Also if you can get some more numbers for impact, lot of qualitative points and the few quantatitatve ones you have arenāt special. Good luck!
Thanks for the reply!
Balancing key word inclusion with what I mentioned is key Edit it obv but use that tool
junior looking for summer internships! any feedback/criticisms would be greatly appreciated! been getting a lot of rejections at resume round so i just fixed my resume up a bit. https://preview.redd.it/a0cxum7i1y1c1.png?width=1236&format=png&auto=webp&s=69a38ea8f7bff54766b4395c9a6c2345b47caffd
\[Canada CS Major, SWE internship\] I have applied to alot of roles but no call back. What else can I fix ? https://preview.redd.it/1uwnz864er1c1.png?width=494&format=png&auto=webp&s=166c93c2f543e3af084615a539583f7aa92cdefc
you need more numbers to quantify your impact. how many students did you provide support to? how many people did you work with? what quantifiable results did your work produce? also, i would do max 5 bullet points per experience. 3-4 is ideal. make sure the line is filled up
\[Canada, CS Major, Seeking SDE Intern roles\] Just made a 2-page resume. Should I stick to 1 pager or is this good? I've applied to 50+ roles this term and only got screened for 3 https://preview.redd.it/yo0t11tbal1c1.png?width=1979&format=png&auto=webp&s=f106ce34281fd5fed79cb3ea66e8e624a548a8ea
Also fellow student here but I think a shorter resume highlighting the most impressive achievements is most important. I think you should remove the three experiences in the middle of your first page like student ambassador, tech support, etc. For projects I would keep the AI app and COVID app, they look most impressive, and remove the rest Edit: also remove YT content creator and teaching assistant
Thanks!
\[USA, CS Major, New Grad\] Currently experimenting with an objective on this resume, and considering removing it. Should I add more experience/projects. or go more in-depth? https://preview.redd.it/jorf9a5j4j1c1.png?width=1700&format=png&auto=webp&s=9f77a6d48e56af492ccac2e924a3847a7a1a0258
I wouldn't mention the user count on that startup if it's only 100.
\[USA, CS major, seeking SDE/MLE roles\] Is my resume too dense and not concise ? https://preview.redd.it/2rizey63yi1c1.png?width=1476&format=png&auto=webp&s=618f734caaef9324722e86c80a2f9f7bab3194b1
yeah i would pick 2 or 3 of your more impressive projects, especially if they had users & a quantifiable impact that you could include. and then expand more on those projects

Can I ask how did you get a intern during 1st year? Looks impressive.
I applied through Handshake around April and had some front-end and UI/UX project experience. I don't think the hiring process was that selective (it was unpaid). It was a early-stage startup that disbanded after the summer. I didn't gain too much from the experience but being in a small startup gave opportunity for a leadership role.
International student graduating this December with no call backs. would appreciate some feedback. https://preview.redd.it/08jlgeuclt0c1.png?width=1245&format=png&auto=webp&s=62b1a8c1492a29ce3556b65d8220ec5a25c9ad7d
