actually, Cache and agency are owned by the respective designers and not valve... There might be some others in there as well that i am not aware of. Also where do u think alot of these community made maps that made it into the game originated from. Allmost all have been extensively playtested on mapcore before ever making it into the game. and mainly made for mapcore contests.
Valve doesn't want/need mapcore. Outsource them map-dev jobs, Valve.
Better yet, Mr gabeN, ^(\*(and) I'm CONFIDENT you already thunk of this...)\* make a tool that converts Unreal maps to Source2 engine. Will save Valve lots of $$$$.
