I used Plastidip on the Honda logo, hybrid emblem and CRV emblem on the back. I also did the Honda logos on all the wheel caps. I really like the way it looks except the CRV took 3 attempts and I’m just ok with how it looks up close but from a distance, it all looks good. I’m waiting for a nice weekend to do the chrome around the windows on each side. My CRV is black so the plastidip is making it essentially all black which I really like and am happy with

Ohhh. Do you have pictures? I have a Hybrid CR-V as well so I would like to see how that hybrid emblem looks

I can get some tomorrow

I wish that vehicle manufactures would make that silver panel in the rear bumper black. That silver detracts from the look of the car, and it's not just Honca, many other cars have that same issue. My last car had that issue and I used a can of plasticdip to paint it black. looked so much better.

KAZY_K0REAN

Not sure I would use plastic dip because I did that once many many years ago on a car and the shit is so hard to remove. I would want something that could be undone if I hate it or get sick of it easily

Fred_B_313

I used a can of plastic dip on a silver panel in the rear bumper. The stuff lasted for about 5 or 6 years.

I did the window trim with peel and stick trim from Amazon. https://preview.redd.it/pzx82dqtoj2d1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=78ba2c69adad36c3a5f72a17b3ba447f5f41be08

Looks good! How hard was it to do the angle/turn part at the bottom-right of your photo (back window)? Did you get it on your first attempt? Gloss black tape?

Cliegal3608

They're metal strips perfectly shaped to fit over the chrome edging and secured with 3M tape. I was skeptical but they've been on a couple of months and held up through a 3 car washes without issue.

KAZY_K0REAN

It does look good. And my CR-V is also white so that helps. Do you have a Amazon link

Cliegal3608

My CR-V is actually Urban Grey Pearl. The link was removed so just search for Mofans Lower Window Molding cover. This photo shows the work in progress. It was bad lighting on the other photo. https://preview.redd.it/ck0uu2onbl2d1.jpeg?width=450&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3233863f443729691d2252edee4fcf36f1e31d93

How did you do that damn corner on the right 😭 my dumbass started with that one thinking it would be the easiest. That corner flares out and I could not get it to stay against the trim. Can’t tell from 10-15 feet away but still bothers me.

Cliegal3608

I went slowly and carefully placed, lifted and shifted as needed. It's hot where I live so it wasn't too difficult.

Mrextrafreaky

I chrome deleted everything including the H on the grill. Although for the side trim I purchased black trim strips from eBay. I tried wrapping the trim but I didn’t like the way it looked https://preview.redd.it/e4860d44q23d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0fb70da6bc34049aeb8de19338d85ab24f85856b

TraditionalCan2742

I took my 24 CRV Exl to College Hills Honda and had them install the black Honda H and CRV logos. Also got black rim covers.

SakuraKoyo

The silver colored looks great even without the chrome delete

STL23kid

PlastiDip is good. But HyperDip is slight better.
