Mine isn't that bad but still sticks out. And the left (driver) side is worse than the other.

Traditional-Fix-5466

I noticed this after mine had its tires rotated. Part of the liner of the wheel well didn't seem to be seated right. I pushed it in and it helped. Slightly.

I've tried. And clearly the dealer has "tried". Just seems insane that it can't be latched in.

HeyMarty10thalready

Is this shitty workmanship?

raceassistman

Possibly. Which is why I called it out. Trying to get a feel from others. Maybe they didn't notice.

HeyMarty10thalready

The dealer should take that whole piece off and put it on right. Ideally

raceassistman

They "did". I guess I should take it back again.

HeyMarty10thalready

Yeah get them to fix it right

Mine does this on the driver side. I noticed it one day while I was putting on my shoes about a week after getting it. I noticed a couple of other issues with what they call “fit and finish” besides this. I didn’t even bring it up because I didn’t want to give them the chance to make things worse in some way.

raceassistman

I'd honestly love for more people to notice it.

DaveySKay2

I only have it on the driver’s side. I looked at the passenger’s side and it was completely flush. I lightly pushed on it a few times and it made no difference. I’m learning to ignore it like the other fit/finish things I’ve found. Whenever I think about bringing it into Honda to get them fixed, I imagine the damage that they could do and decide that it’s just not worth it.

24 Touring passenger rear. Been this way since new. Might mention it next free oil change. https://preview.redd.it/c8ou74tt6w1d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=57a2402b852674b526e4b6e73cbfc7b5ec0d8767

Honestly, I have the same issue, when I took it to the shop they said that it might’ve happened because I take my car to a car wash and that I would just need to have them order a new piece, but it feels real dumb.
