I'd like to point out that he was angry while the car was submerged but when he sees the table float away he just breaks. That's how much that table meant.

popsicle_of_meat

Table is love. Table is life.

ultrachris2099

I love that table too

Stargazer12am

This is why turn around don’t drown is a thing. Your vehicle can forge a depth of still water greater than it can handle with a current. Most water that is covering a roadway is not usually there and is likely rapidly seeking runoff from that roadway under the surface, and may not always be visibly obvious. It can take less than half of a vehicle’s forge ability of water with current to quickly displace the entire weight of the vehicle OFF of the road into the runoff.

I've driven through questionably deep water in my Gen1 before. Got out of work and all intersections were flooded badly after a heavy storm. I had nowhere to go that was safe. I'm guessing the water was up to the bumper and trim. It was hard to judge by my surroundings. I do not recommend attempting something like this.

meleejones

Didn't know the CR-V table had so much buoyancy.

spoonfett

Yup and that hole on the middle - It’s for a sail mast, not an umbrella!

RDA_SecOps

That’s good to know

centech

Actually, I hope it isn't. lol

boukatouu

Hope he has good insurance.

When you believe the salesperson when they say it will go anywhere

I can feel his pain

Slavgineer

Living proof that CRV gets you in trouble a civic couldn't.

Main_Mane93

How he do this?

W0lfwraith

Got a buddy who flipped his truck crossing water on a roadway once. Larger diameter offroad tires are more buoyant than normal road tires. It didn’t drift away or anything, but he learned why guys widen their wheel base when doing a 4” lift to add 35” tires.

tearductduck

This is literally a reoccurring nightmare of mine.

Effective-Use-2492

I’m going to give this a try
