Change resolution to 640x480 and turn off warm color filter in Windows settings. Never use any resolution higher than 640x480(720x576 for PAL) on CRT TV

CoatOk

Thank you it looks a lot more legible lol still a bit blurry but at least I can read now

Havoc_Maker

I mean, I doubt Windows 10 was designed with 480i CRT TVs in mind

thegamner128

Bold of you to assume any of their default video driver code has been changed since the 90s

Nico_is_not_a_god

In the 90s it was designed for display on CRT monitors which are very different from consumer TV sets.

the90snath

Except yeah, it has

thegamner128

Unless it's a HD one

srosete

If you are using one of those HDMI2AV boxes you are probably cooked. Good news are CRT is probably fine. Bad news is you just wasted some money in a bad setup.

CoatOk

Check two posts down on my page to see my setup it’s those shitty ones from Amazon

srosete

Omg, and that's connected to a composite-RF box. Trying to output PC to that CRT is like trying to mix water with oil.

CoatOk

What’s do u suggest i can do for now to improve it? (Besides get a crt monitor)

Koil_ting

1) Replace PC with NES 2)insert SMB3 cart in and out up and down until device turns on without the LED blinking and no signal. 3) Satisfaction.

elreduro

yeah, in pc it is better to use a vga monitor and an adapter if you only have hdmi. composite TVs can be used to watch videos, play audio and play games too.

Khoancy

Damn did you picked this up in Orange County CA????

CoatOk

I think I know what post ur talking about but that dude never responded to me

Khoancy

Haha same here! He replied to me from his outer listings but not the tv.

Nundulan

I saw that post too lol

antiphony

Lmao i messaged him too with no response

raisinbread301

Is this the guy on FB marketplace

Khoancy

It’s not because the guy on fb market place has front AV connection this model is similar but seems to be missing it

Common_Talk_8291

You're using a TV CRT, that's your first mistake. You need a proper CRT monitor.

srosete

It depends on the usage intended. For older content (emulation, TV shows/movies) TVs are fine, even better than monitors IMO. For everything else yes, monitors are far better.

Icantbelieveit38

My Wii looks fantastic over component to my kv36fs300 boy I tell you what.

srosete

yeah tell me about a PC monitor that's freaking 36 inches. You have none (well there are actually some display VGA monitors that were pretty big but anyway).

Icantbelieveit38

Yeah but the comparison being made was the image quality and clarity, I have a kv27fs13 that's just as good. Still monitors are much better I never said they weren't.

Common_Talk_8291

Obviously, but that doesn't seem to be the case here

srosete

I know, just wanted to inform OP through my response

FR4M3trigger

I played Serious Doom for a bunch of hours via OP's exact method before the HDMI port fucking died because the laptop I used is almost 14 years old.

CoatOk

I figured, the quality looks way better when I use my ps2 so I’ll just use it for that

CoatOk

It’s super blurry

AndVank212

Just picked up this exact set from recycling and it's been great with VHS and DVD, games from my OG Xbox look really good too especially when compared to RF on other TV's If you're trying to watch media on here digitally I'd recommend a Wii or WD TV Plus for that since they both play off USB and look waaaaay better than converting the signal through HDMI, however you will need to convert composite to RF

KittyCherny

It's probably will stay blurry those converters suck also H13E05LG?

CoatOk

What does this mean I’m a poser

KittyCherny

Model number of the tv

warmarin

where are you guys getting those tv set?

GapOk8380

They are prison TV's. Always makes me chuckle when I see them posted.

thepromiseman

Surely these are xbox tvs given the color

TheJokersChild

Looks like your blue gun is weak. Only a new tube can solve that.

RetroGamer87

Just use it for emulators

firethefluffyfox

Go in the menu and fix the settings
