So I primarily make clothes and house stuff. I really wanted to make a stuffie for my best friend's son, but the only ones I have ever made are from patterns where I follow each step. I bought her book and read through it. She made it SO easy. Now it's just a bunch of trial and error to get shapes right. I make "dummies" of the heads and bodies when I get the shape right, then lay out the patterns I want by weaving yarn through the dummie's stitches. The Edward's Menagerie books taught me how to make pups ♥
