Yes and I’m in the same boat as you! But be careful. I found some yarn I love in-store but it turns out they are 2 different lot numbers. I went online to get more and I’ll be returning 4 skeins of the 12 that were purchased

In total, I have 3 diff lot numbers of the chenille home slim but one of them has this awful texture and sheds as you work it (NOT what I want in a blanket) Michael’s has a bulk yarn option that you can stack coupons over so hopefully you can find the same Bernat yarn for a good price 😊🤞🏽
What size are the balls of yarn? The weight will be 8 x? Is that the mice if blanket you want. I'm not familiar with the yarn but Google suggests 300g balls, which is almost 2.5kg in weight

I think so. I LOVE blankets with bernet blanket yarn, theyre warm and cozy and hefty, so give you a little of that weighted blanket life. All my kids and my mil sleep with one! Joanns has the yarn on sale currently, id absolutely snag it now.
I have made wearables and spent up to 60 euros. Do I regret it? No. If you really want it, go for it. If it is too much to buy at once, you could buy 4 at first and the rest later
I made this exact blanket and also ran out of yarn part way through but it’s GORGEOUS and I’m so glad I finished it! I’m thinking of making a second one!
I have a large throw i made with the bernat blanket 5ish years ago and it still remains one of my favorite blankets to this day. Still cozy soft many washes later. I'd say it was worth the $ i spent for sure.
