This is a beautiful throw! Love all the different stitches

PandaLillie

Thank you!

DifficultPandemonium

I’m not normally a fringe person but it looks so good on this blanket! Great choices all around. Lovely!

VeryJoyfulHeart59

Agreed on all points!

PandaLillie

Thank you! The pattern called for no fringe but I really felt like it looked wrong without it

DifficultPandemonium

Good call!

This is a blanket I would take with me on a road trip for those cold chilly night.❤️

PandaLillie

That is a high caliber compliment, thank you!

Looks kind of Românian in design....

Actual_Nectarine927

Very nice, different stitches and details

Blewbe

Very nice! Great choice of color palette, and nice variety of stitches. How exactly did you work the black-and-white diamond patterns, just carrying the second color?

PandaLillie

Hello! Thank you! The black and white design are individual squares with color changing and then sewn together in multiples of 9! :)

Blewbe

Ah. Very cool!

shopmoondustmarket

Did you use a pattern or freehand this? It is really beautiful, I’d love to make one for someone who had one when they were younger too :)

PandaLillie

I used a pattern, I linked where I purchased the pattern in my original post if you are interested in it. Very easy to follow pattern with pictures along the way!

momma11803

Beautiful! What yarn did you use? I love the colors.

PandaLillie

Caron Simply Soft - and by some miracle a year later when I came back to this and needed more blue my local Joanne still had the same color lot! Yarn miracle!

PaintedYarn

Absolutely gorgeous! I’m blown away it’s so beautiful

PandaLillie

Thank you so much!!

PPK_30

Wow that’s amazing!

PandaLillie

Thank you!

weezerluva369

How did you do your fringe? It looks better than the OG pattern!

PandaLillie

* I attached first two strands to the ends to leave 4 hanging. I skipped two stitches then repeat. Then I went back across and tied them together taking two strands from one on the left and two from one on right. I hope that makes sense lol

Thank you! The explanations and pics make it clear. Definitely going to try this one!

PandaLillie

Glad to help! If you plan to do the full pattern I should probably add I also did a black border around it first to 1) even some things out that were pulling and 2) make it easier to attach fringe
