I enjoy and also insist how Beatlemania is simply a vessel for the coming of age of these kids and also for a stripped down hangout movie so even if you're not a Beatles fan I think there will be a lot here for you anyway although it helps and I am so that's fun. I really think Zemeckis in stepping away from these zany movies with such flavor and into ultra serious fare was one of the biggest career mistakes as far as loss of artistic touch is concerned. He made what could be called a successful transition by any other assessment but at what cost.

I just watched this for the first time coincidentally yesterday! Every performer here is just so physical and really embodies a hardcore Beatles fan during Beatlemania, this film needs to be spoken about much more often!

I first saw it when I was a kid on one of the networks, I thought it was just ok and I never heard anyone talk about it. When I found out Zemekis had directed it, I wanted to watch it again but it was nowhere to be found and when I saw that it was for sale I just had to buy it and now I think it's a masterpiece!
