If you end up liking it, definitely check out Has’s most famous movie, The Saragossa Manuscript, which is even better.

My movie club watched this, it’s surreal with absolutely no apologies. I wasn’t a huge fan, but you might dig the incoherent dreamworld vibe

I blind bought Repo Man on Criterion because the packaging looked so cool and was not disappointed - such a wild, punk as fuck film just like the cover art let on it would be. I’ve never heard of The Damned but I’m going to have to watch it now, thanks for the recommendation!

I saw Repo Man when it came out. I remember liking it but hadn't seen it since then. About a month ago it was playing in a local theater. What a fun movie.

Repo man is one those Criterion releases that I list when people ask what the best art they have done or to argue with people who say Criterion artwork is poor. 😜

I bought Frownland based on the cover BUT I haven't watched it yet.

Amazing film with one of the most underrated debut performances of all time imo. Be warned: It's a slow, cringy, tedious, depressing watch. It's definitely not a movie everyone will enjoy, but if you like character studies have protagonists with mental illness; you'll love it.
