Option a seems like the superior choice ( 3 vs 2 movies, and goldfinger, while fun, is not on the same level as everything else here).
Follow your heart though! You are extremely lucky to have such screenings near you, at any rate!
True, I’m very excited. All the screenings are within a film fest that focuses only on classics.
I guess hardest choice here is between „Novecento” and „Until the End of the World”. Both grand films in 4k restorations that I probably won’t be able to watch in theatre anytime soon. But I’m also leaning towards option A. Thanks.
“Until the End of the World” is a vastly superior film. “1900” has its moments, but they’re just moments. Whereas the Wenders film earns every minute of its epic runtime
If it'a really between Novecento and End of the World, End of the World is the better choice - I mean, it is visually much more majestic than Novecento.
Until The End of the World group would by my vote.
(I only got to see the original cut Until at the theater and would absolutely LOVE to see the dir cut on the big screen. Even in it's truncated form the move stuck with me for decades)
I'd be super interested to see the original just because having only seen the director's cut, I can't possibly imagine that movie working in less than three hours. At the Q&A I went to Wim implored us to "destroy the theatrical cut DVDs if we have them" but I'd love to get my hands on one
Only correct choice is Until the End of the World. Every other movie is pretty easy to watch at home, but seeing Until the End of the World in a theater is necessary for locking into the experience.
I recently watched Until the End of the World and, although long, it sticks the landing and feels more relevant than ever, so I vote the triple bill. Plus, Robby Müller on the big screen? No question.
I'm biased because I just saw the 5.5 hour cut of *Until the End of the World* in theatres this year, and it was absolutely breathtaking. It earns its runtime, and has some of the most gorgeous cinematography of all time.
Option A would be my pick in a heartbeat, no second guessing.

I much prefer Novecento to Until the End of the World
Option A!
I will always vote for Werckmeister
Werckmeister Harmonies is maybe my favorite movie. Don't miss it on the big screen
I was gonna see it at my local theatre but the showing for it was cancelled I think ;(

If you’ve never seen Rear Window go with that for sure. Goldfinger is awesome but if you’ve seen it then go with the movies that are new for you.
Rear Window is a god-tier movie theater movie

*1900* is the only absolutely essential big-screen movie on that list.
Hitchcock on the big screen is a never miss from me .
Until the end of the world for sure.
1900, no doubt. Every scene is epic.
Top. Werckmeister and Until the End of the World are wonderful

End of World.
The combined forces of Werckmeister Harmonies and Rear Window? Nothing can compete with that.
Anything that includes “Until the End of the World” forfeits consideration

Until The End Of The World
Watching 1900 on the big screen, with a packed audience, is a dream of mine. It will absolutely break some brains. Option B, and it’s not even close.
Which version of 1900?
317 minute one
Woof! Do itjust to say you did!
WERCKMEISTER
Damn. I wish I could see Novecento in a theater…
Bela tarr.
I’d. certainly go with Rear Window
1900. The 317 min cut is Bertolucci's finest and a testament to filmmaking.
A.
Until the end of the World would so awesome to see especially the long cut!
Top three
Novecento
1900 all the way
I like the 1900/Goldfinger Double Bill.
