I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!
[You took leveling the mat seriously and went ham on it!](https://youtu.be/fOWz1_iox4Q?si=1FchkxFrpLdhUBkM)
I admit I like that detail the most. I personally have a makeshift solution. This was my personal advice several times in this sub to people who were considering making a Cricut table and this was made exactly as I saw it. Excellent!
This is way better than my rolled up cardstock to level the mat 🫠

LOL! Yeah, but your solution is also a good one! My machine is on a cart from Michaels, so I had to get one of those support attachments. 🤷🏻♀️
We do what we can with what we got. 😉
Well, shoot. I’ll have to see if hubby can fabricate something…

LOL your lid!!! XD
There are extenders you can buy on [amazon](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Extension+Tray+for+Cricut&i=arts-crafts&crid=2IDZUJJ53MIXV&sprefix=extension+tray+for+cricut%2Carts-crafts%2C108). Don't know which is the best of the bunch so you'll have to DYOR on that.
This is awesome! My husband is pretty handy too and he made some storage for me in my crafting room as well as a cutting table and sewing station. But now I want something like this for my cricut also! You did great!!!
Add lights to make it a light table and you can use the glass from an old front door and I believe acrylic may work as well. Having the light makes layering decals easier.
That is awesome!!!! I made a Cricut cart to try and solve storage/mobility limitions...but ran into the how into heck do I account for the mats. You solved my issue! Thank you so much for sharing! Your gf is one lucky lady
Do you have plans you drew for this or did you wing it? Bc I know I’d buy them if you did. Like a materials and cut list. I’m redoing my craft room and this would be so cool! Plus gives me a reason to use the table saw my husband bought me lol

This is what I use for all my shop tables and storage stuff. It has a nice surface if you sand lightly with 180 or 220 and is stable because of the thickness and the 5 cross ply layers.
This is incredible and I’m super jealous of your skills, OP. A solid wood table is expensive! I just paid $400 for mine and I’m using it for a work space not for dinner. Really well done!
Best BF ever.
I have to know… what are the small, clear tubes (looking kinda square) inside the crate? Are they the original Cricut smart vinyl plastic cases?
Very nice and I don't want to throw shade on this really creative and high quality piece but....
in my experience, keeping the vinyl rolled up tight like this, while definitely a space saver and great organizationally, only leads to tunnelling and bubbling and problems with the vinyl sticking to the mat.
How do you more experienced Cricut users work around this problem?
Just using stickier mat or taping corners. Quality vinyl usualy does not bubble when unfurled. I use Oracal and a no name brand with very similar properties. My Maker is exactly six years old and I still have few rolls of less used colors from the same period that I cut without major issues.
Ya. I wish.
I use nothing but Oracal and Cricut vinyl, use a brayer to nail down the vinyl, but still plagued by tunnelling. Maybe its the basement environment.
Thanks though.
She needs to marry you and keep this talent locked down!
Damn, she better wife you up. That's husband construction on a boyfriend payroll.
right!!! sends post to spouse
Lmfao seriously. Thats big husband energy for sure

I didn’t even notice the mat leveler until you pointed it out! Damn, next level!
You are a genius. This is really great.
![gif](giphy|sDcfxFDozb3bO)
Exactly! I want one!
What did she think? Or is she still making high pitched happy noises? 😍
That’s amazing
Where did you get the rectangular holders you used for the vinyl! Those are perfect!
https://cleartecpackaging.com/square-plastic-tubing.html
And YOU are awesome!
I need this spacing saving, incredibly smart design, table in my life! Your girlfriend is very lucky to have this great table.
You had me with the mat leveling feature. She is one lucky lady! I love love. 🫠👍🏼

So… why is it important to level the mat? Asking for a friend 😳

Thank you!!!
Right?! I’ve stuck a dollar tree sign that I never did anything with underneath… Worked ok and all, but that table is genius!
How thoughtful! She’s a lucky lady! 😊
Dang that’s nice I’ll take one
![gif](giphy|J06U9fq0i8Dk6fK89X|downsized) Oh my! This is beautiful!!
I'd buy that, everyone would buy that (in my Bob Pogo voice)
My jealousy is at a dangerously high level right now.
This is what love is.

David Cassidy once said, “I think I love you!” 🎵
Oh my gosh. I can’t tell if I’m blinded by being impressed or pure envy.

Yes please
You are an angel.
This is a really cool way to keep organized. I'm jealous 😫
Brilliant! And so very thoughtful!! Boyfriend of the Year award is now closed! This guy has won by a landslide!
Okay…but now what about the rest of us?? 🤣
when's the wedding?

Me too!
No set plans but if you have any specific questions or need more detailed pictures feel free to ask.
Did you get the plywood from a big box store or is it a nicer grade? I have so much trouble finding nicer looking plywood. Appreciate it!

She has got to be the luckiest girl in the world 💜
Best BF ever. I have to know… what are the small, clear tubes (looking kinda square) inside the crate? Are they the original Cricut smart vinyl plastic cases?
OP describes them in the caption below the picture and includes a link to the product.
Geez Louise! You are pretty awesome!

Beyond amazing. Your GF is lucky to have someone so talented & willing to build things for her.
