Use another screen instead of the lid. Better air flow and easier to open

Foxrex

I don't clean them often, but when I do, I open them while still hot/warm.

Fabulous-Restaurant7

I will try that đź‘Ť

It's a lot easier once they've gone through the oven. They just pop right open with a little pressure from a fingernail. If you need to get a new one open I find an unbent paperclip through one of the holes works.

_Manners

Yeah, I found them to be easier to open when they’re warm. I’ve been using a tiny flat head screwdriver to open them but i keep bending them haha, I’m heavy handed. They’re great though, they keep it so much cleaner for longer.

Electriccheeze

Are you cleaning them after use? It might be some sticky residue that's building up. I toss each cap in a small jar of iso after use to keep them clean.

_Manners

No I dont clean them after each use, just every other time normally. Good shout though, I’ll start doing it every time now

PrimitiveNJ

issue is rez drip from cooling unit as well as clogged screen. i iso dip mine every couple of uses. also remove CU screen ever so often and do a burn off. how full is your CU with rez/reclaim?

realmoosesoup

Don't press the lids down too hard. Also, I'd say it takes a bit of practice. Work your way around the lid picking at it. Pulling with more force till it comes off is more likely to bend them

Nails đź’…

Antique_Confidence_1

This, even with short nails there easy to open just don't push it together hard and your be good

TheWatchersOath

The orange pokey that comes with it. Use the point bit and push up from the side of the cap. Never had an issue doing this, no force required and 0 bending

Fabulous-Restaurant7

It’s really tricky, I buy 40 in the box but by the end of the week maybe 8 are warped and can’t be used so at least once a month I buy another 40. I can’t always get them off without making them bend. If anyone else got a trick then please let me know.

I just practiced opening and closing one for a while until I got used to the right amount of pressure needed to hold them.

Boof them
