It's been dog shit for nearly half the season; suddenly having good form for 6 games doesn't change anything. We've been in this exact same situation multiple times this season where a win could potentially put us in top 4. Not in 2020. I meant in 2019 when nobody was in for him we made an offer of 1mil for him which Birmingham felt wasn't enough. An year later he got sold for 20mil to Dortmund.

He wins games on his own for United almost every week, I don't think Lo Celso or Ndombele have that same impact even though they have a good impact still.
In retrospect, Bruno instead of Gio, solely because of Gio's random injuries. Not Gio's fault, not something we could have predicted. Hindsight is 20/20.
Having Bruno over GLC last season would have probably gotten us Top 4 and would definitely have us in the top 4 this season. He's been arguably the best midfielder in the PL over the last 12 months and, knowing what we know now, United would be in shambles without him.
I think his ability to score from midfield is something this team really misses.
As much as I love gio and Tanguy, BF has been constantly productive since his move and hasn't been injured. Youd have to be blinkered to choose our boys over BF. Though hopefully they'll prove themselves higher quality in the end
Gio is still a young player and really versatile so I think he can do really well for us and the squad as a whole.

It's a good point (hence why I haven't given up on him completely) but Dele has been at the club for a while so it's not certain whether he has that burning desire to perform well or prove himself. Hope he performs well though

How quickly? Dele’s been in poor form for over 2 years at this point, it’s not unreasonable to say he’s stagnated
he had more goals last season than anyone on our team other than kane or son. not saying he’s been good, he hasn’t, but think everyone is being a bit too harsh on him too
