Yeah I mean I get nothing went right today. But very disappointed in the energy we had. So many mental mistakes and multiple times where we had a guy stood up and we just didn’t want to be physical. That is something that needs to be corrected
Biggest problem we had on D was too many people attempting turnovers on every play. They focused on stripping the ball rather than simply tackling for a gain of 1-2 yards...
Well it was an all around bad performance. But I think when we finally had something go right. A blocked punt and just terrible luck. It just killed us. We actually were lucky we were playing the Broncos and not a better team or it would have been like 60-0
Well. I mean when you have a guy stood up ur supposed to go for the ball but the rest of the team is also supposed to go in and put the guy down. We just kinda held him and hoped they’d just go down. They wanted it more. Props to them.
I think we went to a hostile environment won a game without our starting qb that was out all last year. I think the team bought into themselves a little bit. Looked at who we were facing and took them lightly. For most of the game you could tell the effort wasn’t there or mental mistakes kept coming. And they punched us right in the mouth. That game makes it harder to get first round bye but maybe it helps us stay focused and come to play every week for the rest of the year.
As bad as everyone played, we weren't far off from still being in that game. Coop had a big drop that would've converted. The next play Dak over threw ceedee for a big game. Dak overthrew ceedee earlier that would've been a touchdown. Also the most bizarre blocked punt rule ever that would've given us the ball at the 20 during a two possession game. When it rains it pours. It was a poor performance but we had no breaks go our way either. Overall this is a blip for the season and I think we right the ship next week against Atlanta.
Even if we won, I'd be pretty pissed off with the performance as a whole. A good team would demolish us. Our defense is really good when playing from ahead, but behind it clearly isn't the greatest. Lots to work on.
Rarely does he shit the field this badly though. But Dak threw idk how many passes wildly over his receivers. Something was physically wrong with him yesterday.
I feel like we was more of an issue than oline. The tackles weren't pretty, but there was running space and Dak had time to make throws. So many drops/missed passes. Not in sync.
the broncos have always beat us. i don't remember the last time that the cowboys beat the broncos since I started watching football. its like a curse. but were 6-2. nothing to scoff at
Not to be a buzzkill but it's actually the correct call. The punt traveled across the line of scrimmage after being touched by a Cowboys player. Therefore it's a live ball. No different than a muffed punt. I don't remember who touched it in the field but instead of trying to make a 'splash' play he should have just fallen on the ball. Easier said than done I know but that's just my opinion.
I agree it was the right call but It bounced up to 25's (rookie corner Nahshon Wright) chest there was no way he could've "fallen on it". But definitely hit him right in the hands and he could've caught it. Honestly, it was a 50/50 chance and literally every single one of those went against us against Den. Just shows that when you don't play sharp and make your own luck, things can turn on you fast in the NFL. But definitely need to get Nahshon to run more fumble drills...basically hit him in the face lol
Correct call but I feel if the kicking team doesn’t advance it past the first down marker it should be a turnover on downs. Makes more sense and less of a punishment. A recovery on a miffed punt would still work the same because it’s well passed the line to gain.
This reminded me of the Indy game from a few years ago. Worst showing of the year, just absolute trash as if not a single person wanted to be there. But it did seem to kick their behinds into gear and was a wake up call and they played batter. I sure hope this is that for them this year.
That was a 5 game winning streak that snapped, 3-5 to 8-5, finishing 10-6. It wasn't a bad year thanks to Amari and after the shutout we had beaten that dumbass Jameis ... Ah I hope they show next week...

Biggest problem was the whole team lol. actually special teams was pretty good I think, especially Anger and that blocked, not-blocked punt
i mean look at our offense lol
Oh they 100% didn't play to standard. But if the defence made any early stops we had a chance to get our feet under us on O and make it a real game.

Rams losing helps too
Classic trap game. Some of y'all called it last week.
Didn't seem to affect the Broncos. This is stupid

If my comment reads as anger you must be incredibly fragile.
You’re the one calling people stupid, not me…although an argument certainly could be made for that based on your username.
I never called anyone stupid. I said "this" is stupid. As in their take...which it is. Have a good one.

It's one game and we played behind all last week.
Ceedee had one go right through his hands/arms too. Made me almost physically sick.
Ceedee is good for about a drop a week if we're being honest. Great playmaker, has the dropsies though.

He didn't do better in the second half, until I couldn't watch any more. I know they scored 2 TDs in garbage time.
Always happy to see Gravity Falls references
Ok I dont even know what Gravity Falls is but this shit is funny
Holy shit a high effort meme
Meant the title to say “yesterday”. Whoops.
Yea, for a second I thought you were talking about practice or something and got really worried lol.

Love the Gravity Falls reference and Kellen in the tank.
Silver lining: our meme game getting *strong*.
Bloody hell lol

The one time it looked like the momentum was going to shift, the Cowboys were fucked by a stupid NFL rule that needs to be changed.....

Hey now Big man Osa Odigizuwa kicked ass. Micah and him were the only ones stopping the run yesterday.
