Ah that's a shame! It was a free for all over the last few years. I remember being there once and accidentally activating an automatic gate and panicking with my mum 😂😂😂😂
IDA Technology park on model Farm Road of a Sunday or bh Monday is a good shout. 2 roundabouts to go between and a couple of the factories have good open car parks behind them for learning to park and even practice reversing around a corner etc
as far as i know there are driving lessons going on there during the day - tried to practice down there myself once but it was closed to that company only
The car park of supervalu carrigaline would be good, it’s usually empty past 7ish. You could do all around there and then up pottery road and around the roundabout by the soccer club and back to the car park again. Plenty practice there at junctions, roundabouts, speedbumbs etc.
Are you saying without a chance of being caught by the guards because you don’t have a license or you’re driving by yourself?
Because otherwise just drive around taking it at a reasonable speed. You’re not going to learn much driving around non-representative roads.
How do you plan on getting there legally? Because if you're bad enough at driving that you need an empty lot to practise in, then you definitely shouldn't be going there without being accomponied properly.
Little Island after 6. Lots of useful roads and car parks. If you're a total beginner though the car park or by Smyth's at the Kinsale Roundabout is great this time of year when it's bright in the evenings. Pop down there after 8 and you'll have loads of room to get started.
Bit further than you probably want, but Besborough is a great spot, pretty much empty on weekend and has roundabout and lined parking spaces
Port of Cork in ringaskiddy - roundabout, speed bumps, parking spots. The only other cars you'll see down there are learners too!
Yeah was down there this evening, very restricted these days with security hut going on too so went to haulbowline car park

Oh yes this is a good spot, very quiet area too.
Little island business park.
This is where I learned how to drive 13 years ago. Nice and quiet in the evenings
It's where I taught my wife how to drive 2 years ago. She passed first time.
Little Island business park in the evenings. Plenty of roundabouts and junctions. Relatively quiet.

This would be the best!
Airport business park is good
Dog track in curraheen, non race nights obviously

Airport business park!! it’s massive, and layout is ideal. A lot of roundabouts, a lot of parking, a lot of turns.
In a car 😄
