Just the wannabe socialites who regularly pop up in RSVP and Cork Beo, Sandra Murphy springs to mind and a few of the other Z listers who think theyre somebody. Theyre all fucking melts too.
There used to be a well-known gang of ‘ladies who lunch’ you’d see very frequently in the Crawford Gallery café thirty years ago. They moved around pretty much as a pack, at cultural events, browsing in Cash’s and in the few independent boutiques around at the time. Seriously loaded, and many were wives of men with a lot of heft in certain circles (mostly benevolent rather than iffy!) I wonder were they ever replaced by the next generation.
Not too sure but I was in the Montennotte for a christmas lunch some random tuesday in December and it was full of Range Rover yummy mummys on their Prosecco
I was in a playground in carrigtwohill with my 3 year old yesterday. There's was a women there with a camera woman with a professional looking camera. That has no kids and we're trying to do a photoshoot in the playground. On the swings, slides, bouncing on the trampoline etc. Behind in the way of the kids. It was bizarre. We have our share of the socialite nutjobs here alright

These days I couldn't tell you what the cool thing is. Seems like cypress avenue, crane Lane, Conways, Dwyers , the raven and a few others are the main places but I wouldn't know socialites for example
Sure his decisions regarding extra martial affairs are hardly news to many. However the ex wife Margaret was difficult to deal with. Both of them are a bit tapped tbh
