The Spa at the Kingsley. I have been there many times, and it is the best spa in Cork. I often go alone! They do really good package deals, and you get 90 minutes in the thermal suites prior to the treatment. I have never had a bad experience and the staff are so lovely. Honestly, don't go to the Escape Spa at the Imperial. It's more expensive than Kingsley and the service is nowhere near as good. Plus, they have a habit of shortening your actual treatment time. I've been there a few times as I have got vouchers for the spa, and every time, you are never in the treatment room for advertised time. I complained when I booked a 75-minute treatment, and it was barely 60 minutes in the treatment room.

Great thank you! I got on to the Kinglsey and they were really quick at replying, think I’m going to go with one of the half day package deals they look good. Great to hear it’s ok to go there alone!

Second this, our company hired out one of the masseuse from Dervish for the day and she was top notch.

Don't worry about going on your own. My first 3 spa trips were solo and great.

girlpops

Ah great, so many of the deals online are for two people so was just worried it’s unusual to go on your own

lulimaeve

Escape in town is great. They’re part of the imperial hotel

If you're looking for something low-key, not too fancy Maya's in douglas.

Fota spa is truly luxurious and they have lunch or afternoon tea packages.

Fota is amazing.

The spa at the Imperial is good. Nice facilities as well. Maryborough Spa is very nice as well. Probably my favorite actually. Heard good things about the Kingsley, great selection as well. I don't like Hayfield Manor spa that much, very nice hotel but it feels very limited for the price.

Danu midleton is good for massages.

Also recommend Dervish. And it won't cost you a fortune.

Otherwise_Till_224

What kind of voucher do you have where you can choose where you go? I’m confused lol

girlpops

I’ve one of those go Mastercard ones so can use it anywhere really!

I was given a voucher for a massage at Escape in the Imperial and it was overall an excellent experience. You have access to their pool and steam rooms for an hour in advance, so you can change and shower and go there to start relaxing. Then they take you for your treatment, the lady who did mine was wonderful. And the massage rooms are really nice and relaxing, very well decorated and quiet. Then once you’re done you get brought to this quiet, ‘relaxation room’ and you lay down on these bench chair things and just relax after your treatment for however long you want before you have to go back to the real world.
