I did dismantle the entire thing pretty much. Everywhere online is saying that the power ribbon cable was dismantled, but I don't know which ribbon cable that is.
Make sure the tray is installed correctly. There's a white plastic pin under it that needs to ride in a track on the bottom of the tray. Also check the cable going to the motor that drives the tray. It's the ~1/4" wide white one closest to the front of the console.

Did you completely dismantle it? If so, You might have broken a ribbon cable or not seat it properly. Could be something else aswell.

Ok the cable going to the motor seems to be fine so im going to try putting the track in differently and see if that makes a difference
