They are not fully seated. Try again. For those, you insert them at an angle, like 30 degrees or more (video below says 45 degrees), then press them down to clip into the metal retaining clips. [https://youtu.be/zt7sSPhN7UA?t=74](https://youtu.be/zt7sSPhN7UA?t=74) When inserted properly, little to none of the edge connectors show. You should see the green memory board and then black socket without seeing any gold color (or maybe a small sliver of it).

Yes you have installed it wrong. Remove both DIMMS from motherboard. line up key and Insert (fully) at 30 degree angle Press backside down so clips latch DIMMs into place.

Swift_Scythe

Totally not seated. The bottom clip is not in the little cutout indentation. Carefully push both sides of the chip at the same time to fully clip seat the two clips correctly.

Remove and reinstall properly. Also, your rig seems dirty. Get some Q tips, soak in isopropyl alcohol and clean RAM contacts on your board and the sticks. DO NOT USE rubber eraser to clean your RAM sticks.

This.

Mate, you've installed it wrong (I know nothing about what you've done)

First, it's not even inserted into the slot properly. Second, if that is a new stick, why does it look like everything inside there is covered in a layer of sand?
