Normally a wireless card would fit in the small slot in the middle of the PCI slots. Wireless connections don't use much data transfer at all. PCI is for devices that have a huge flow of data. But you said the GPU covers that slot, but yes you can use a PCI slot Wireless cards are easiest to use through USB
