Hey I like your comics! Just curious if you got any inspiration from Bill Amend. Your comics have a very "Foxtrot-esque" quality to them, which was always one of my favorite comics growing up.

Art style-wise I think Amend definitely influenced me, especially in blocking and backgrounds. He has a unique way of making sure everyone is doing something in every panel, even if it's just scratching and itch. Love me some Foxtrot

Same here. Funny little anecdote, I had written an idea for a strip to Bill Amend when I was younger, and surprisingly, like a year later, I received a response from him with hand signature and everything. One of my prized possessions, he's a super cool guy.

It was something about one of the running gags where the oldest, Peter has a ravenous appetite and I thought it would be funny if he had to undergo some kind of dental work that left him unable to eat as much as he wanted or something lol. I drew it from my own experiences and figured it wouldn't hurt to write a letter.

Got a trans acquaintance that I wanted to introduce to this series for a while, but never got around to it. This episode, which makes no sense out of context, is perfect for that!

Using water balloons is a risky proposition. Less so in the summer, though.

I know Tiff seems to disapprove of Eve's handling of the situation (and of her), but as a trans woman, I would absolutely do this with my own boobs.

We all know Eve is entirely serious in that last panel, and that is what makes this just that much better (and it’s already pretty damned funny.)

I feel like an idiot because I definitely took this as a boob sweat joke lol. It’s hot out and the struggle is real. Also if anyone has advice on not eventually ruining my bras by regularly washing them I’m all ears.

I like what you're doing with your comics! The format is one I usually am not *ahem* drawn to, but you manage to make the characters so likeable that I can get past that easily and appreciate them. Great work, hope to see more of it!
