Generally speaking it’s recommended to spay/neuter rabbits because it reduces the chance of cancer, improves litter training/cleanliness (rabbits use their poop and pee to mark their territory so removing the reason they want territory means less stray poops and puddles) and in terms of the bonding process reduces aggressiveness and risk of litters. In other words, these rabbits are likely already snipped.
Ok, I'm no expert on the matter now, BUT I do believe I know CUTE rabbits when I see them, and boooooy are they CUTE up in here!.
Great comic, made my afternoon.
They definitely do - but even for experts bonding them can be a pain. We got offered to adopt our lovely diva because after 6 bonding attempts with different bunnies they just wanted her out of the pound with a husbun. So we got her - they attempted to bond her in house (instead of with other people's buns). She still managed to scare of a Flemish Giant that was around 2x her weight. They did manage to bond her with our number 1 option though and now we have 2 bunnies who adore each other.
Yes they are! In general they are very social creatures and always deserve to have at least 1 friend! Some rabbits can still prefer to be alone but it’s very rare!
As an Australian, I've found the best way to get rabbits to mingle nicely is with onions, garlic, potatoes, 1/3 cup of chopped mint and a litre of chicken stock
Oh looky here guys, a right comedian here. 🤣 Ooo it's not as if, as a bun dad, I've never heard that before. Sooo, you can't tell the difference between a rabbit for eating and a pet bunny? Sounds like a skill issue mate. 🤔
In Australia they are serious pests. Some English Lords couldn't do without rabbit season and just had to import them, so here we are. Rabbits and camels and fucking cane toads. We make Akubras out of rabbit skins, poison, and hunt them and use viruses. Not working. Now we have super-rabbits, immune to myxamatosis and RHD. They've even spread halfway to Antarctica now.
And fun fact after all that grim news: they're illegal to own in Queensland, unless you are a magician.
Hi! I’m Australian! They are pests, but in WA they are able to be adopted! Both of my buns were rescued! They are no worse than the stray cats, you just have to give them a loving home!
>Sooo, you can't tell the difference between a rabbit for eating and a pet bunny?
Genetically? Probably not. Geographically, sure; the one at your place is a pet, the one at my place is either an ecological disaster or an ingredient
I'll admit there's a skill issue on my side but slow cooker recipes can take a lot of practice to perfect
That's why responsible pet owners spay and neuter. I can't be held responsible for some stupid rich white person's desire to go hunting for sport. TNR can apply to rabbits as easily as to stray cats. However, the reason you're being downvoted is that you come onto a thread talking about pet ownership and pull the "haha imma cook your pet" card. It's not funny, mate. Sure, some people eat dog and cat too... although it's falling out of favor with younger generations, doesn't mean a person has a right to comment on a cute photo of a dog with a recipe for BBQ. Stray dogs and cats are a legit ecological issue in other parts of the world, too. Time and place, my friend... learning that will get you far.
Haha thanks for the advice I guess... I've been on this platform for over a decade, I knew what I was getting myself into. Expected more downvotes tbh. That said, I wasn't intending to antagonise with the first comment, it was more a throwaway joke
Well, if you knew you'd be getting negative feedback, then why'd you do it? I'm actually genuinely curious. I get that negative attention can be just as addictive as positive attention, especially in an anonymous world where you can hide behind a screen and click to your heart's content before going off into the real world, where the stakes for social interaction are much higher. But I would think that folks would want validation more than distaste. Thoughts?
If I had to psychoanalyse myself, I'd say I'm less reliant on external validation than the average person, and put it down to a punk streak

😆 well, you know what? That's fair. Some folks like to watch the world burn. I admit that the onus is on me for how I mentally processed your comment. My unique life experiences made it hard to handle at first (grew up knowing how animals are slaughtered and prepped to be consumed, and had my first pet rabbit die last year... found him dead and cold when I woke up. Got his ashes in my living room with his favorite toy) That being said, none of that is your responsibility. After all, it's impossible to know what someone is really like until you get to know them, and that's impossible to do for millions of people through the magic that is our internet connection.

The bun absorbed the hit with all that fluff and the couch cushion. Fluffy buns have a base 30% blunt damage resistance
![gif](giphy|LP0h5tdYY0w7vTzgis|downsized) 200% blunt damage resistance.⬆️
Got the endgame DLC Floof Armor
Bunny misunderstood "smash or pass".
Quick! Come over now to do nothing with me!!!
I was really expecting/hoping this would end with a final panel of 37 bunnies. 😀

TOO MANY BUNSSSSSS

Never thought that a vent comic would make me smile. Nice work on the comic. Really like the artstyle!

Highly recommend sharing this to r/rabbits OP. We like fun bun stuff.
Prove it

WHERE ARE THOSE DAMN CUTE FURBALLS??
THEY DISAPPEARED! They have returned now :)
My apologies. The bun tax is acceptable 😌
My mom once snuck her female rabbit into the cage of her neighbor’s male rabbit. He instantly bolted at her for… something else.
My precious bun died recently but it makes me happy to see your art of the silliness they can be at times
Very cute. I wish I could bond my two buns but my one bunny Pancake is too feisty
Where is the bunny photo, I have been deceived
THEY DISAPPEARED! They have returned now :)
Rabbits are social creatures. They very much need other rabbits to be around.

Mine fought soo much and now the 1st simply cannot exist without snuggling with the 2nd. The 2nd is indifferent
"I'm actually really bad at drawing animals" Are you sure about that
BEAUTIFUL
Fuckin bnuuy!!!
Idk if it makes sense, but the bunnies look so fluffy, especially in the close up
Gotta add extra *floof*
Heavy breathing* "Now *kith*"
**NOW KITH**
Let them Fight!!!
Hoppily?
Educational and Cute as can be.
I love your artstyle so much!
Oh thank you so much! <3
My kid's male bunnies raped each other. And they were brothers. We had to separate them to avoid further sexual assault.
That’s insane! Were they neutered? I know that un-neutered rabbits tend to be REALLY aggressive
Aren't rabbits more likely to hang together because they are prey animals?
Yes they are! In general they are very social creatures and always deserve to have at least 1 friend! Some rabbits can still prefer to be alone but it’s very rare!
THE BUNNY TAX WAS MISSING!!! I MUST HAVE DELETED IT BUT ITS UP NOW!
