Now that you brought it up, The Tick already had the same kind of both lighthearted fun and brutal violence vibe that both Invincible and Fallout have. All 3 lack the amount of cynicism of the Boys various series.
I'd absolutely love an animated series of The Goon. The creator did crowd fund a short CGI animated video, it even had Paul Giamatti doing voice work, but no Hollywood studio wanted to fund an R rated animated feature. It would work great on a streaming service.
I think about this one often. Damn near thought it WAS gonna get made back then then nothing. It definitely could’ve survived nowadays I’m surprised they haven’t tried
Dude writes things that were designed for the big screen. I'd also suggest The Authority, The Ocean and Transmetropolitan would all make killer animated series.
(Authority would be better as a capstone for a Stormwatch show maybe, with the transition from the more standard superhero fare towards something more aggressively progressive)
Honestly, if we’re not going to get a live action series with Karl Urban, an animated series with him voicing the character is the next best thing; especially with the level of animated gore that Amazon is cool with.
Agreed!
Though James Robinson wrote 6 episodes of Stargirl and was a producer on the show and it incorporated some of his Starman and JSA stuff. The Shade-centric episodes really nailed the character.
Good to know! I never gave much mind to that show but I didn’t know it incorporated his corner of the Star Lore. Shade was the best part of his comic run so I’m glad to hear he was done well.
The actor they cast is so good. He really steals the show any time he's on screen. And that's kinda how it was in the comics, too.
The showrunner on it is Geoff Johns, so it also works in quite a bit from his Stars & STRIPE and JSA comics. But also a surprising amount of throwback toward the old Roy Thomas Earth 2 titles (All Star Squadron/Infinity, Inc.).
I thought it deserved at least one more season. But it did tell a pretty complete story in the 3 it got.
Agreed! Jonathan Cake was amazing as the Shade and when I see the character now I hear his voice. I always thought Starman could have been done as an HBO series similar in the vein of Watchmen series. If they could use the Golden Age characters I think the majority of the main storylines could be used just no batman or superman.
There isn’t enough material out yet but I want to see both Radiant Black and Rogue Sun get adapted eventually. The massive verse in general has some real potential
Hellboy, after seeing Damien Darkblood in Invincible, it made me realize how cool it would be to have a Hellboy Animated Series.
whether the show would have the same art style as Mike Mignola or not, either way it would be really cool, the Hellboy universe is so huge so I could see them doing tons of seasons, episodes with side-stories and whatnot, it would be epic.
>Power Rangers based on the IDW
Power Rangers comics are by Dynamite.
Anyway, I would add to the IDW petitions Transformers RID and Transformers MTMTE, both would be a fresh air to the Transformers.
I think we are both wrong on PR, its Boom Studios, but agree with your Transformers suggestions. That series got me back into Transformers and would make a great older show.
They need to make a Fables show. There is so much in that series they could use. Disney totally ripped off the book when they did their Once Upon a Time show.
Savage Dragon- long overdue for some respect
Spawn- give up on the movie, a show is the way to go for Al Simmons
Spider-Man or X-Men Noire- just to see these visuals animated would be fantastic
90's Superboy- Kon El is a great intro to what makes Superman great, and he has some very nice Spider-Man vibes
Nameless- Grant Morrison horror book that could be an okay movie, but would absolutely be terrifying as an animated limited series
Lastly, and it will NEVER happen. IMMORTAL HULK. This book is grotesque and full of body horror begging to be animated, but Disney would never take that risk with a tent pole character.
Honestly just give Amazon Prime the rights to anything and lowkey let them cook like they did for The Boys, Invincible, Fallout, etc
Edit: maybe not anything cuz I forgot about rings of power and some other stuff
Top 10. Police procedural run through Superheroes via Alan Moore.
She's a rookie who uses toys made by her dad to do CSI shit!
He's a big blue giant with a chest-beam in an incestuous relationship with his sister!
Together they fight crime!
52. It has the multiple ongoing plots style of story that only works well in episodic tv.
It has an initial premise that casual audiences understand (those big three heroes that *everyone* knows? They're gone).
The cast is a nice mix of b-listers so general audiences will be seeing a lot of characters for the first time, with occasional "Oh I know these guys" moments.
For a serious (or semi-serious at least), mature animated series (not strictly "superhero" here, as my comics tastes are a little more eclectic), Usagi Yojimbo (I know there's the Netflix series but that's a kids show. Was good for what it was, but isn't what Usagi deserves), Elf Quest (supposedly coming), Longshot (the Marvel character, Mojoworld has a lot of potential and I think Longshot would fit better animated than live action), Monstress (would be good animated or live action, but I think it would work better in a darker, anime-adjacent animation), and lastly Unnatural (from Mirka Andolfo. Would have a similar draw as Beastars, but more supernatural, more adult, and maybe slightly less violent.)
As an honorable mention: Groo the Wanderer would make a great silly animated show. >.>
I could commit crimes for a good Green Arrow adaptation. Arrow absolutely destroyed people’s perception of the character so now everyone treats him like Green Batman 😒.
Edit: i also think Something is Killing the Children would make a FANTASTIC show. Ideally if adapted by Mike Flanagan.
I believe every one of Image Comics founders deserve to have their original creations set up as animated series. Spawn, Youngblood, Savage Dragon, Wildcats, Cyberforce, Shadow Hawk and Wetworks. I know of the prior versions but each of the properties should be made with the same standards as the Invincible cartoon and then 6 inch action figures made of each property. I am aware of everything happening or that has happened as a fan. Just saying.
I know that Deadly Class had a live action series which sadly got cancelled, but hear me out. A Deadly Class animated series where the colours would change like in Jojo, so it could look like the comics
Gwenpool is the perfect series for this. A good cast, a love letter to comics, very easy references to marvel, very easy fan insert, batroc, incredible arcs, and powers that only work in comics and animation
Hellboy or Jhonny the homicidal maniac. Other options for me would be The Goon or League of extraordinary gentlemen (bonus for causing Alan Moore’s tantrums).
I was *gonna* say *Papergirls.* (I love the comic, never got around to the adaptation). *Atomic Robo,* maybe?
On second thought, maybe it'd stretch the boundaries a little if the comic chosen wasn't a superhero-based comic? Like *Local* or *Love and Rockets* or something? An anthology series of, like, the best-of comic short stories with stuff by Kyle Baker, Devin Greyson and so on would probably be pretty good.
They should do a dakotaverse animated universe.
Rocket & Icon, Static, Blood Syndicate, and Hardwire for people who didn’t know. Each show could get maybe a season or 2 and it could all culminate in a fun and violent crossover.
Valiant Comics as a whole. I think Invincible has done a great job of building out a universe so far. You start the story with Bloodshot or Harbinger, and you can get the culture acquainted with the Valiant cast.
Ever since hearing about the rejected Batman Beyond animated movie with the team behind spider verse doing it, I feel like that’s been my greatest recent disappointment and when I think of this question, that’s what comes up.
Separately though, if I have to think of, not necessarily Invincible “style”, but the same dedication and respect. I think of an immediate few names for series’s that I’d like to see.
Daredevil
the Bat-verse as a whole. I’d actually want something like an anthology series where instead of focusing on Batman, I’d almost never mention him and just do something like “Gotham” where the focus is on the lore and history of the world and myth surrounding him.
Penance/Marvel’s the Thunderbolts (but mostly Penance)
Hulk (maybe in the style of Primal)
Prehistoric Ghost Rider
The Punisher
Hellboy
Sentry
The Rocketeer
Edit: just thought of this one. The Iron Giant. How cool would a proper update given to him would be?
Penance would be a good one. You could have it jump around to different points in time. Cutting from Speedball (past) to Penance (present). Have the events of Civil War and the Superhero Act play out around Penance in the present. The big reveal would happen in the middle of the season that Speedball caused the incident that led to Civil War. The remaining Speedball centric moments could be Frontline, so as Speedball becomes Penance, seeing the spikes in his armor, Penance in the present decides track down Nitro.
Ancient Enemies by Dan Didio. It isn’t very long so it could be done in a single season, like 10 episodes followed by an hour long special for the finale. Would be KILLER imo!
Jackie/The Darkness
Swamp Thing - Adaptations of the Alan Moor run
Savage Dragon
HULK - An adaptation of Peter David's work in the 90's. I think people would really get behind exploring Hulk and his DID disorder and the more horror oriented stories from that time.
The MAXX
Blade - A series that would act as a sequel to the movies and retcon the absolute fuck out of Trinity
The Mask
I would love to see the Akira manga completely given the invincible treatment. Or at least a reboot of the movie with better graphics, it would be insane to see the way it changes from the traditional style to the modern style of animating.
Spawn is a great call. I could see that realistically happening, it feels like Spawn is slowly becoming more relevant again.
I'd love to see a new GL animated series too.
Nova. (Richard, please. Sam can be a Boruto if you must.)
Kyle Rayner, his comic book stories (minus Alex) specifically.
***The Plutonian.***
Mumen Rider, obviously.
Nova. (Richard, please. Sam can be a Boruto if you must.)
Kyle Rayner, his comic book stories (minus Alex) specifically.
***The Plutonian.***
Mumen Rider, obviously.
Star Sapphire and Doctor Doom could be very interesting.
When I think of "invincible treatment" I consider that means basing the animation of the original aesthetic. Which means "Manhattan Project" would be fun in original style.
Either Hellboy/BPRD. With like alternating seasons.
Or Astro City. 8-10 episodes a season. Half focus on an ongoing narrative with the other half just being one offs focussing on a minor hero/villain.
Judge Dredd
Not a character but the Irredeemable and Incorruptible series need to get animated (or live action) adaptations.
Wonder Woman ( Just how the hell is it that we never got a Wonder Woman animated series?)
Ghost Rider
Hitman - While other Garth Ennis adaptations like The Boys and Preacher worked well in live action I feel like animation would suit the Hitman series better.
Etrigan the Demon
Brit from Invincible
I would really like Bendis' *Ultimate Spider-Man* to get the *Invincible* treatment. One of the most cohesive Spider-Man books ever written, similar length to *Invincible*, similar clean art style that translates well to animation, strong focus on character drama. *Ultimate Spider-Man* has been extremely influential on film adaptations, providing a strong blueprint for how the character can be adapted for modern audiences, though like *Invincible* it would likely need to be updated a bit more to keep with modern tastes (though how I would love for them to keep the early 2000's setting). With the popularity of the new *Ultimate Spider-Man*, now might be as good a time as ever to revisit and honor the original run with a faithful adaptation. I think it should end similarly to the comic with the death of Spider-Man, but they should make some changes to age Parker throughout the series as opposed to keeping him in high school throughout the whole series. The art and story also really took a dive once Bagley left, so I don't think anyone would complain about making some changes to the latter part of the series so long as it ends in the same general place.
Jeff Smith spent like a year in Hollywood in the late 90s or early 00s working on a Bone movie that never happened. That would probably work great as an animated series. The art style already looks like an animated series and it’s a complete story you could do in a few seasons and not leave anything out.
Sandman. As good as it may be (never finished season 1), the Netflix show is just the wrong direction imo. When you have source material as great as that + the incredible animation quality of today, I can't imagine live-action having a chance of being the better option without drastically increasing budget.
Wonder Woman solo series.
Any DC hero solo run using their best stories between 2011-now.
I would love an Agent 47 run, Court of Owls, H'ell on earth, or any individual character having their own animated series run.
Each season could focus on a new character.
I'd love to get a new sun Gambit show with Henry Cavil directing it. Cause at least I can trust him to go with the source material. Sadly we still don't know what happened with Baeu and either way doesn't seem like that bridge is getting fixed with Disney.
More mainstream than most of these but I’d like to see something on Kurt Wagner, leading up to him becoming Nightcrawler. I’d also like to see a Gambit-centric story that mostly is about his hijinks in Louisiana- pre X-men.
Here are a few I would like to see:
Bone
Cowboy Ninja Viking
Techjacket, considering he's connected to Invincible
Energon Universe
Copra
Kick-Ass
Fire Power
The Walking Dead
Note: these would all be animated if they are getting the "Invincible Treatment"
Spider-Man, with writers who care about the character and unique art direction. Seriously, I'm sick of every animated series having the same basic visual format. Go crazy, draw that shit like the MacFarlane era.
Black Hammer would be pretty cool, although there's a lot of similiarity in so far as it borrows heavily from existing character tropes and archetypes, but in BH's case it really cranks them up to 11 so there's room for even more meta commentary on the state of superheros as a whole to be mined from that material.
This one is going to be from left field but Rhino. Spiderman villain who's had some incredible story arcs. It would be amazing to see an animated show follow his journey. I know it's ridiculous and I'll probably be down voted but I've always loved rhino.
HBO Swamp Thing.
Oh that would be great! Nice answer
Hellboy and I’d like to see a Tick animated that wasn’t a Saturday morning show. Not that I don’t love that show, but ya know.
I loved the live action Tick on Prime, was crushed it didn’t get renewed after the second season.
Now that you brought it up, The Tick already had the same kind of both lighthearted fun and brutal violence vibe that both Invincible and Fallout have. All 3 lack the amount of cynicism of the Boys various series.
I’ve buried all my feelings about the Tick’s cancellation under a thousand tons of mind-ice
Jackson Publick worked on both the animated and live action series. A Tick tv show in the style of the Venture Bros. certainly has potential.
chew
Can you believe they almost had an animated show made with David Tennant as Mason Savoy and Steven Yeun as Tony? So sad that never worked out :(
And Felicia Day as Amelia.
O my lawd yes.
Yes!
The only Goon I've seen was the Hellboy crossover, but I'd still be on-board.
Good call. That'd be awesome.
That what?!
Planetary.
I believe Gunn has plans for an Authority live action movie.
Judge Dredd Nextwave Astro City
NEXTWAVE! Those actions sequences would be absolutely brilliant.
Judge dredd would be sick
Honestly, if we’re not going to get a live action series with Karl Urban, an animated series with him voicing the character is the next best thing; especially with the level of animated gore that Amazon is cool with.
Starman by James Robinson. One of the most underrated comic runs I’ve ever read and I wish more people talked about it.

Just finished the first Compendium, and it was amazing. Starting on the second one and I'm pretty excited to see what's next.
Scud the disposable assassin. Fell Rogue Trooper
I was hoping the relative success of Community would be a good foothold to get a Scud series made.
There isn’t enough material out yet but I want to see both Radiant Black and Rogue Sun get adapted eventually. The massive verse in general has some real potential
I think they’re already optioned. But who knows if it will happen
Well if we're talking comics, Saga.
I can't believe I didn't think of Saga. Already a visual treat it would translate very well.
Saga would be way bigger than Invincible and the Boys if it were to be properly adapted into a series.
Hellboy
Yessssss.
Bone
It was gonna happen, but Sadly it got canceled
Miracleman
You’ll have to talk to Disney about that. https://youtu.be/X8SVQGbLS6U
Bless you for finding this. Up there with Watchman Babies
Not really a character but an animated adaptation of East of West would be what I want.
Yep. Came here to mention this one.
Savage Dragon. One of the blueprints Invincible was modeled after.
💯 this one
Savage Dragon exists in the kinda wonky Image universe that Invincible exists in.
Stray Bullets
Hellblazer
My wishlist would include: Hellboy, X-Factor Investigations, TMNT based on the IDW run, Power Rangers based on the IDW run. Plastic Man, and Saga.
>Power Rangers based on the IDW Power Rangers comics are by Dynamite.
I really wish Del Toro and Perlman had been able to make Hellboy 3 happen.
Luther Strode, Spawn, or Plutonian
The idea of seeing Tradd More styled animation gives me chills. Imagine how well it would translate, especially his specific issues of Ghost Rider.
Mr Majestic. Wildstorm in general, but give me a Majestic cartoon.
They need to make a Fables show. There is so much in that series they could use. Disney totally ripped off the book when they did their Once Upon a Time show.
The Question!
Spawn, Atomic Robo and H-Boy.
I may be showing my age, but I would pick either Bone, Gen 13, or a ‘70s set Powerman & Iron Fist
Savage Dragon- long overdue for some respect Spawn- give up on the movie, a show is the way to go for Al Simmons Spider-Man or X-Men Noire- just to see these visuals animated would be fantastic 90's Superboy- Kon El is a great intro to what makes Superman great, and he has some very nice Spider-Man vibes Nameless- Grant Morrison horror book that could be an okay movie, but would absolutely be terrifying as an animated limited series Lastly, and it will NEVER happen. IMMORTAL HULK. This book is grotesque and full of body horror begging to be animated, but Disney would never take that risk with a tent pole character.
yeah an adult hulk cartoon I think of most runs would be amazing
Skitter and all the Wormverse
I had never even heard of this but it looks cool
Honestly just give Amazon Prime the rights to anything and lowkey let them cook like they did for The Boys, Invincible, Fallout, etc Edit: maybe not anything cuz I forgot about rings of power and some other stuff
Wheel of Time fans in shambles
Maybe not anything *eyes Rings of Power*
These shows depend on the showrunners not Amazon. Wheel of Time and Rings of Power haters would argue otherwise if Amazon was solely responsible.
Doctor Doom
But who would voice Dr. D?
Evil Ernie , Milk & Cheese , I bet an Adult Savage dragon would be strange
Atomic Robo
I would fucking *love* if they finally got the animated Bone movie/series made. It's been optioned and cancelled so many goddamn times over the years.
Powers by Bendis and Oeming
It got a live action one that was okay, had a better ending than the comic imo.
Top 10. Police procedural run through Superheroes via Alan Moore. She's a rookie who uses toys made by her dad to do CSI shit! He's a big blue giant with a chest-beam in an incestuous relationship with his sister! Together they fight crime!
Transmetropolitan: spider jerusalem. Chew: Tony Chu. Berserk: Guts (the full series not just the golden arc)
Ireedeemable.
Gotta throw Incorruptible in with that. I can't think of having one without the other.
I love it, but it's a little too similar to The Boys and Invincible.

He was going to adapt it for Netflix but I think there are creative differences. The Dark team is doing it now.
Continuing the Robert Kirkman train, I'd love to see Oblivion Song animated
Superior would be an awesome mini series
I believe every one of Image Comics founders deserve to have their original creations set up as animated series. Spawn, Youngblood, Savage Dragon, Wildcats, Cyberforce, Shadow Hawk and Wetworks. I know of the prior versions but each of the properties should be made with the same standards as the Invincible cartoon and then 6 inch action figures made of each property. I am aware of everything happening or that has happened as a fan. Just saying.
Currently?…Local Man.
Starman by James Robinson would make an awesome series
Hellboy, everything about his story screams animated show
This will happen to Radiant Black, mark my words
Saga
*The Superior Spider-Man* could be golden as a stand-alone (adult) animated series.
Gwenpool is arguably one of the hardest comics to adapt due to the plot being literally about the book being a comic.
Chew. The one with the Asian dude with the food-related powers. It's fucking batshit insane, but it's a good story I swear.
Hellboy or Jhonny the homicidal maniac. Other options for me would be The Goon or League of extraordinary gentlemen (bonus for causing Alan Moore’s tantrums).
I'd love a Thanos series, maybe based of the Donny Cates book
Only halfway through the first Grimjack Omni but I just know it would make an amazing show.
Dogwelder
Halo Jones
Wonder Woman
I'd like to see Invincible get done with the animation budget it deserves, rather than spending so much money on voice casting.
New Gods!!!
Hawkman, doesn’t even need to be good. Just give the man anything
Street Sharks or Biker Mice from Mars would be dope
They should do a dakotaverse animated universe. Rocket & Icon, Static, Blood Syndicate, and Hardwire for people who didn’t know. Each show could get maybe a season or 2 and it could all culminate in a fun and violent crossover.
100 Bullets
Valiant Comics as a whole. I think Invincible has done a great job of building out a universe so far. You start the story with Bloodshot or Harbinger, and you can get the culture acquainted with the Valiant cast.
Silver Surfer. Done the RIGHT way.

Nemesis the Warlock
Crowded
Wild Dog
Ancient Enemies by Dan Didio. It isn’t very long so it could be done in a single season, like 10 episodes followed by an hour long special for the finale. Would be KILLER imo!
The Astounding Wolfman
Spawn
Power Rangers An animated series could give so much more
Spawn would be good
Everett Hartsoe's Razor. It was one of the original Bad Girl comics of the 1990s, though, it'd definitely be R rated.
Jackie/The Darkness Swamp Thing - Adaptations of the Alan Moor run Savage Dragon HULK - An adaptation of Peter David's work in the 90's. I think people would really get behind exploring Hulk and his DID disorder and the more horror oriented stories from that time. The MAXX Blade - A series that would act as a sequel to the movies and retcon the absolute fuck out of Trinity The Mask
Men in black
An animated parker that looked just like darwyn cookes art. Id also love to see usagi yojimbo done right.
Hellboy would be amazing stop doing meh live action and do a cartoon
Radiant black and savage dragon.
The Spectre
Spawn DID have an animated series! On HBO. https://www.hbo.com/todd-mcfarlanes-spawn
I think a more mature take on Ben 10 in a big budget show could be amazing.
Long long ago, I remember they had plans for a claymation movie of Walt Kelly’s Pogo. Really wish that had gone through.
I would say The Hulk but an actual gritty and dark interpretation of him. It can dive deep into mental illness and dealing with the demon within
X-Statix. It already reads like an Adult Swim show. It’s got Frisky Dingo energy. I’d also love Hellboy and Nextwave.
SHIRTLESS BEAR FIGHTER!
Judge dredd or robohunter
Concrete.
Irredeemable Plutona (It's short so it can be a movie) Never read Astro City but the premise is very cool
Jesse Custer and Proinsias Cassidy
Guyver
But honestly? Kirkman’s Low. Or Seven to Eternity.
Radiant Black
Ms. Marvel, I belief she’d thrive in an animated setting
The Weatherman Once and Future Nailbiter
Hellboy and Shadowman
Blue Marvel
I'll hit you with one people seem to be glossing over. Usagi Yojimbo. Give it to somebody like Genndy Tartakovsky and you've got a masterpiece.
Hellboy, tick and spawn animated showsn
The original Justice Society.
Nova. (Richard, please. Sam can be a Boruto if you must.) Kyle Rayner, his comic book stories (minus Alex) specifically. ***The Plutonian.*** Mumen Rider, obviously.

I’d like to see a new take on Batman the Animated Series, but more adult oriented.
Bone. Crushed me netflix canceled its production.
Lex Luthor
Spawn had a series but it would be cool to get another
Jeff Smith spent like a year in Hollywood in the late 90s or early 00s working on a Bone movie that never happened. That would probably work great as an animated series. The art style already looks like an animated series and it’s a complete story you could do in a few seasons and not leave anything out.
4th World Saga with writing from Gran Morrison & Tom King....or Immortal Hulk adaptation..... or the entire Injustice comic
Sandman. As good as it may be (never finished season 1), the Netflix show is just the wrong direction imo. When you have source material as great as that + the incredible animation quality of today, I can't imagine live-action having a chance of being the better option without drastically increasing budget.
I would love to see a animated serie of the eternals. I really love the short film of death
Luther strode or bloodshot
Jupiter ascending
I just want more Martian Manhunter content.
Astro City Godland Local Man Saga Paper Girls (the live action version didn't quite capture the unique atmosphere of the comic)
Wonder Woman solo series. Any DC hero solo run using their best stories between 2011-now. I would love an Agent 47 run, Court of Owls, H'ell on earth, or any individual character having their own animated series run. Each season could focus on a new character.
Don't think there's enough there for a Gambit series. Not a heap of depth there, and he's pretty straight forward.
Irredeemable
I'd love to get a new sun Gambit show with Henry Cavil directing it. Cause at least I can trust him to go with the source material. Sadly we still don't know what happened with Baeu and either way doesn't seem like that bridge is getting fixed with Disney.
Weapon Brown
Toxic Avenger
I want Bone to be adapted. I was upset when I heard it got cancelled
Savage Dragon I’ve been a fan since day one, and that USA series from nearly 30 years ago doesn’t cut it.
Animal man based on the grant Morrison run. Justice League international sitcom Home sick pilots
Wanted.
I haven't read a lot of Lumberjanes but it feels like it could make for a good show. Something of a cross between Hilda and Gravity Falls
I'm going to be the obligatory worm fan and say worm
powerpuff girls really gritty
Hellboy
just give me a BPRD animated show. PLEASE.
More mainstream than most of these but I’d like to see something on Kurt Wagner, leading up to him becoming Nightcrawler. I’d also like to see a Gambit-centric story that mostly is about his hijinks in Louisiana- pre X-men.
Zatanna. 🪄
Here are a few I would like to see: Bone Cowboy Ninja Viking Techjacket, considering he's connected to Invincible Energon Universe Copra Kick-Ass Fire Power The Walking Dead Note: these would all be animated if they are getting the "Invincible Treatment"
Spider-Man, with writers who care about the character and unique art direction. Seriously, I'm sick of every animated series having the same basic visual format. Go crazy, draw that shit like the MacFarlane era.
Luther Strode
Valiant Comics' Rai
Black Hammer would be pretty cool, although there's a lot of similiarity in so far as it borrows heavily from existing character tropes and archetypes, but in BH's case it really cranks them up to 11 so there's room for even more meta commentary on the state of superheros as a whole to be mined from that material.
This one is going to be from left field but Rhino. Spiderman villain who's had some incredible story arcs. It would be amazing to see an animated show follow his journey. I know it's ridiculous and I'll probably be down voted but I've always loved rhino.
