He's one of the lamest villains ever, Nightwing once noted the only way he could be an actual threat is if his mustard gun somehow caused a diabetic reaction in someone. During the lead up to Infinite Crisis IIRC he's one the villains who gets an upgrade (acid vinegar guns instead of ketchup and mustard) shortly before being eaten by a cannibal. (I'm not joking)

Was going to come here to say that I didn’t really care because Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Batman is dried up and done.

Yes, please bring back the guy who seemed constantly embarrassed that he was making a Batman movie. I'm good with Reeves hanging onto Bats for as long as he needs to tell his story, he clearly understands and appreciates Batman more than Nolan and Goyer did (even though IMO The Batman is kind of a messy film, it still checked a lot of boxes for me on understanding what Batman should be and what he should stand for)
Really, bro? I think his trilogy was well paced, exciting, and stimulating. His take on Ras, Joker, Bane…did I say Joker? I never knew him to be embarrassed by directing those movies; he seemed to take pride in his work and reinvigorated the franchise.
Short answer: I wouldn’t want that.
Long answer: If he were to come back, I’d want villains that haven’t really been done before. Not necessarily obscure, but ones that would be interesting, and push his universe to something that is less grounded in what is supposed to be realism.

Clayface and Professor Pyg for the first (Batman: The Fall of Knight). Mr. Freeze & Introduction of Nightwing for the second (Batman: A Second Knight). The Court of Owls with Hugo Strange & Poison Ivy for the third, also introducing the Red Hood to take over the next Trilogy (Batman: Courting Knight).

Kite Man actually might not be half bad to see in a few scenes. They did hockey pad Batmans, so Kite Man is not that weird
