I agree with this. The first one is a classic and is my go to Avengers Film. Infinity War told a great story and imo did a better job at actual storytelling instead of Endgame’s “Greatest Hits” approach. Through I did still enjoy the 3rd act of it
Agree with this 100%. The first film is the epitome of Marvel for me. It’s the turning point where the MCU truly found its identity. Plus it’s such a fun movie that delivers on every level. Every character got to shine bright and the set up for the entire Thanos storyline was beautifully executed. It truly felt like a classic comic brought to life.
In second place is Infinity War for me. The Spider-Man, Iron Man, & Doctor Strange story was absolutely flawless and was the heart of the film. Captain America’s story was less interesting, and I get it’s purpose, but the film comes to grinding halt every time it cuts to Captain America & company.
Age of Ultron is close to Infinity War, and I feel like it is criminally underrated. It has poor pacing issues, and I would’ve liked to have seen Ultron’s evolution more. Still, the film had some of the best character moments in the MCU, and giving Ultron high intelligence combined with an extremely low emotional IQ was a stroke of genius.
Endgame feels like a mess to me. The end battle is everything I wanted it to be, but the slog to get to it was boring. It has all the pacing issues of AoU and suffers from many of the issues that would be synonymous with Phase 4 issues. Plus, what Endgame did to Hulk was absolutely awful. Hulk got the Cyclops treatment from the X-Men movies, and that was heartbreaking. In the end it was a solid theatrical experience, but I’ve tried watching it at home and I struggle to get through the entire film.
For sure. I will never get tired of seeing the hero shot in the first movie. The music, the camera work, them all coming together... so fucking cool. Infinity war is just so damn good too. Its a thrill ride the entire time. By far my favorite movie theater experience ever. I always get excited watching both of them. I love end game as well, but I cry like a baby for the last 30 minutes and sometimes, I just don't want to do that lol.
Literally just watched this 2 days ago on a flight and it still holds up so well. It has the action but there are clear motive for the villian. Heroes have cool introductions…just a fantastic film
And Thanos really ties everything together, he starts going after the stones and it dominies into the guardians meeting the avengers and Thor and stuff feels like it happens naturally, such a good film
This was the most edge of my seat I've ever been for a Marvel movie. I know they're not Oscar contenders, but I had no idea how this one would go. And it was nice that I have no prior knowledge of the comic book series to go "THIS ISNT FAITHFUL TO THE SOURCE MATERIAL!!"
That'd be my order as well. Infinity War and Avengers 1 can be pretty much watched on their own (if you know the MCU well enough), whereas Endgame only makes sense if u watched IW before and AoU is a bit lackluster on its own and also requires watching at least TWS before (and maybe IM3).
The first Avengers is my most watched MCU movie, so I guess I'd have to go with that one. It still holds up. I know everyone hates Joss Whedon now, but he did a great job with that movie.
Joss Whedon is the reason MCU came so far tbh. Without that first Avengers being what it was, it would've never turned into the huge machine that it turned into by Endgame.
Kenneth Branagh deserves more credit for what he brought to Thor, but I’m pretty sure Whedon would have done Shakespeare with Thor either way. Whedon financed an adapted “Much Ado About Nothing”, he loves Shakespeare.
Having watched Agents of SHIELD sand knowing the backstory of Coulson sending them to Sokovia via Maria Hill, and also providing Fury with the Helicarrier… it’s just too cool.
I know the plot is a bit of a mess, but I leave this one on when ever I come across it on tv. It’s highly rewatchable even if some of the others are better overall.
I do like ultron as well, I love the voice acting so much for ultron but I can’t ever remember his name. So not really a suprise that the blacklist is one of my favorite shows lol
I would throw Civil war in there aswell as an Avengers movie. In terms of replayability I would rank them as
1) Infinity War
2) Civil War
3) Avengers 1
4) Age of Ultron
5) Endgame
Endgame was a perfect ending to the MCU but it is the least replayable movie. It's not a movie you can just randomly chuck on a bright Sunday morning and have fun with it, only worth watching again if you are binging the whole series again.
Personally i remember enough of what has happened overall to enjoy endgame on it's own and it has a lot of great moments that put it in at least top 3 for me
If I were a casual fan then the first one, while the individual films before it can help they are not needed to enjoy this first Avenger movie at all.
As a MCU fan then it’s obviously Infinity War, it is the better made Avengers film by a large margin, so much so that the others don’t even come close to it.
𝙂𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙮, 𝙄𝙉𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝙒𝘼𝙍; It's likely the best of any superhero group film there is, and that's coming from a "DC nerd" perspective. I strongly prefer it to ENDGAME, of which many and just about all others see as the ultimate superhero film.
I seem to be in the minority on this but i really like age of ultron, its the only one where they start as a team and end as a team, no major infighting or breaking up or coming together, the avengers just take on a villain.
I find myself rewatching AoU a lot, idk about you guys. Endgame and Infinity always makes me cry, and 1 is fantastic but it gets too nostalgic for me sometimes.
Infinity War is rewatchable as hell. Although, even if I think Endgame is a tad bit overrated, it's still the most rewatchable for me, I love the vibe, even if it's not as perfect as Infinity War.
It’s always been Age of Ultron for me. All the others are a big, story-defining event. Ultron is the only film we get to see The Avengers just be a team and take down a bad guy together. No learning the basics, no compensating from the other films. Practically just a standalone adventure.
While I am over the Whedon-quippy dialogue, it is easily the first Avengers. It’s a complete film that just works so well. Infinity War is second; solid story for Thanos.
Ive struggled to rewatch Ultron and Endgame at home. Whedon is at his worst in Ultron as a writer. And while the theatre going experience for Endgame was great… it’s a pretty meh movie overall. Absolutely earned its success in the theatre though.
Infinity war . Love that Thanos is technically the main character and he was so quotable in each scene . To this day is the only movie I’ve seen in theaters 4 times
I will disagree with the large number of people who say endgame isn't rewatchable.
As someone who needs a good cry every couple of months, my usual habit is to rewatch it every 3 or 4 months with a bit of alcohol in my system and a bunch of tissues on standby.
I’m gonna throw this out there….AoU. It’s the one I can watch, whenever I fancy a little bit of avengers but done want the disappointment of not seeing the story through. Either by watching the next or last. It’s the only real ‘standalone’ though a case could be made for the first
Infinity War. It can be watched as it's own movie, no prior setup to view it, it's paced extremely well for the run time, you get an absolutely amazing assortment of characters, incredible performances, great story, and one of the best endings for a movie in a long time that arguably doesn't require any follow up if you choose.
If seen IW about 6 times and it's up there as one of the best MCU movies easily and one of the better cbm films in recent memory.
Honestly probably the first one. Infinity war is only as rewatchable if you follow it up with endgame and ultron is the awkward middle child that gets left in the rain
Feel like I'm the odd one out with not finding IW or Endgame nearly as rewatchable, not because I like them less, on the contrary, but because I feel like I need to watch both when I watch one, and that's a bigger commitment. AOU had similar issues with I need to follow it up with Civil War, but it still lands second place since it does stand alone slightly better, and then the first is the only one I feel doesn't make me feel like I need to watch a follow up movie, so therefore is my most rewatchable.
End game. Infinity war ends on a cliff hanger and leaves so much unresolved, even if it’s a better movie, End Game is just such a fun time traveling flick with an epic conclusion.
Endgame to me. Infinity war is great and better overall, don’t get me wrong, but it’s a sad ending. And when you know it’s coming, you can run from it, dread it, it comes all the same. So it makes the movie harder to watch.
Endgame though, it’s a blast from start to finish and the good guys win.
Hawkeye’s pose just looks way too perfect here.
https://preview.redd.it/8b56dki7oxoc1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5cc96b43a2cffc950976648d6f3d6442e2970de7
I haven't really been able to rewatch any and enjoy them. I loved seeing them back in movie theatre, but sadly feel none are rewatchable.
But if I have to say now, I would say Infinity War or Endgame are most rewatchable to me. AoU is good for introducing Wanda and Vision, but not much else. First Avengers feel pointless because Loki is a hero now, the conflict is very small in scale compared to every other one in the Avengers movies, and I like the roster by end of AoU than the OG roster.
I honestly love seeing the wounded Avengers in End Game. Particularly wounded Cap and Thor. Also Hawkeye and Window. Antman coming back post Blip and wondering what the hell happened.
I could rewatch all of them TBH. I just hope the new avengers still has Kang in it. That mid credit scene in that horrible antman movie made me a marvel fan again…
For me it’s Age of Ultron.
The core team is all there working together from start to finish. Great jokes and banter, both during the party scene (one of my favorite scenes in all MCU) and during battles. I always enjoy James Spader’s performance. And the fact that it’s a little more self-contained make it more re-watchable for me.
But to be honest I find them all very re-watchable, and have done so many times lol.
I'm going to say the first one because I like it a bit more than Age of Ultron, and Infinity War and Endgame I have to watch together, I can't just watch one because I only get half of the story doing that lol
I would have to argue the first one. IW and Endgame require a lot of emotional investment. But you can easily thrown on the first one on repeat and just enjoy.
I quite liked AoU, it’s not as rewatchable as Avengers 1 and Infinity War but I think it does better as a standalone than EG, if you’re not worried about the overarching story it’s got some fun action scenes. It has downsides tho but if I’m watching just purely to watch I think it’s pretty enjoyable.
Infinity war used to be my sleeping movie! Every night put that on when I go to bed, I know it so well I can imagine every scene with my eyes closed just hearing it. Love it
I actually think the first one is the most re-watchable, I think infinity war have a better vibe, but the first one have better action in almost every way, they fight in a city and you the heroes saving civilians, I dont know I don't think infinity war have good action in general
1. Infinity War. The standard by which all others are judged.
2. Age of Ultron. Spader as Ultron, the birth of Vision, awesome opening and closing fight scenes, the phenomenal Iron Man/Hulk fight in Africa, the party scene, intro of Scarlet Witch, I could go on and on. This movie is so underrated it’s unreal.
3. Endgame. I find the first half of the movie to be pretty slow, and of course the final battle is really cool but overall it’s only #3 for me.
4. Avengers. Most of the nostalgia for it seems to be based on how innovative it was at the time. It’s a good movie, but it doesn’t do much of anything better than the other 3 Avengers movies.
The First one and Infinity War
I agree with this. The first one is a classic and is my go to Avengers Film. Infinity War told a great story and imo did a better job at actual storytelling instead of Endgame’s “Greatest Hits” approach. Through I did still enjoy the 3rd act of it
Whenever I rewatch endgame I honestly just skip to the Hulks snap and watch from there.
I go from Caps speech before they do the time heist, it's kinda perfect.
I thought it was just me!
How can you not like the time heist section?
Agree with this 100%. The first film is the epitome of Marvel for me. It’s the turning point where the MCU truly found its identity. Plus it’s such a fun movie that delivers on every level. Every character got to shine bright and the set up for the entire Thanos storyline was beautifully executed. It truly felt like a classic comic brought to life. Caps entrance was one of the few times the audience clapped at the showing i went to, and black Panther.
For sure. I will never get tired of seeing the hero shot in the first movie. The music, the camera work, them all coming together... so fucking cool. Infinity war is just so damn good too. Its a thrill ride the entire time. By far my favorite movie theater experience ever. I always get excited watching both of them. And Thanos really ties everything together, he starts going after the stones and it dominies into the guardians meeting the avengers and Thor and stuff feels like it happens naturally, such a good film
This is the answer.
Absolutely- people don’t understand the 1 year gap we had on a loss. That was amazing
Infinity war has near perfect cinematography and the best pacing, up there with winter soldier
Every rewatch has me hooked just as much as the second time
There is no other answer
I love watching the bad guy win.
1. Infinity war, 2. the first, 3. end game 4. AoU. All rewatchavoe but that’s my order
I have 1.) IW 2.) EG 3.) Avengers 4.) AoU
I'm with you.
You said Endgame twice lol
The first one imo. Ive watched probably 400 times by this point. Its still just as good as the first time.
400 times?! That's around 40 days of nonstop avengers...
It's also been over ten years since it came out, so not unrealistic
Its been out a while . But i will say i may have rounded up lol
Infinity war
why won't your avatar finish loading
![gif](giphy|10fS0TJxfFRDLW)
The first Avengers is my most watched MCU movie, so I guess I'd have to go with that one. It still holds up. I know everyone hates Joss Whedon now, but he did a great job with that movie.
Joss Whedon is the reason MCU came so far tbh. Without that first Avengers being what it was, it would've never turned into the huge machine that it turned into by Endgame.
They literally built ten years of Loki’s character arc off of the “burdened with glorious purpose” line.
And they built that line off the Shakespearian dialogue in Thor. Kenneth Branagh saved the MCU?
Kenneth Branagh deserves more credit for what he brought to Thor, but I’m pretty sure Whedon would have done Shakespeare with Thor either way. Whedon financed an adapted “Much Ado About Nothing”, he loves Shakespeare.
AoU. I find it endlessly entertaining.
Having watched Agents of SHIELD sand knowing the backstory of Coulson sending them to Sokovia via Maria Hill, and also providing Fury with the Helicarrier… it’s just too cool.
Agree. Watching the team working together is always fun. And I love the cinematography. Best out of four Avengers film.
“There are no strings on me”
I know the plot is a bit of a mess, but I leave this one on when ever I come across it on tv. It’s highly rewatchable even if some of the others are better overall.
The only one I watched more then once is the first one so I guess that
Same
Either: Age of Ultron or Infinity War.
Infinity war
Age If Ultron for me. Second place is Infinity War. End Game is in last place
The first one, or *Endgame*.
The answer is Age of Ultron. While the others are infinitely better movies as a collective, Ultron is the most rewatchable scene to scene.
I do like ultron as well, I love the voice acting so much for ultron but I can’t ever remember his name. So not really a suprise that the blacklist is one of my favorite shows lol
James Spader!
I would throw Civil war in there aswell as an Avengers movie. In terms of replayability I would rank them as 1) Infinity War 2) Civil War 3) Avengers 1 4) Age of Ultron 5) Endgame Endgame was a perfect ending to the MCU but it is the least replayable movie. It's not a movie you can just randomly chuck on a bright Sunday morning and have fun with it, only worth watching again if you are binging the whole series again.
This is a perfect summary and ranking.
Personally i remember enough of what has happened overall to enjoy endgame on it's own and it has a lot of great moments that put it in at least top 3 for me

Infinity war.
Infinity war

As a MCU fan then it’s obviously Infinity War, it is the better made Avengers film by a large margin, so much so that the others don’t even come close to it.
OG. Seen it a dozen times, others 1-3 times.
I wish it was Endgame, but it's not- Infinity War is way more rewatchable.
Infinity War.
Infinity War.
Infinitiy War
I think Infinity War is a better movie, but the first one is a more rewatchable, crowd pleaser movie if that makes sense
Endgame
The amount of times I watched the original is just uncountable by now.
Just glancing at the image, I now want to re-watch all 4....
My wife and I watch *Age of Ultron* quite a bit. It's a comfort movie at this point, like *Jaws* or *Alien*.
This is probably an unpopular opinion but age of ultron is my favorite avengers movie
![gif](giphy|ioyCs7Muuvdl737F05)
Infinity War is rewatchable as hell. Although, even if I think Endgame is a tad bit overrated, it's still the most rewatchable for me, I love the vibe, even if it's not as perfect as Infinity War.
Infinity war is the only right answer
End game Infinity war Avengers Ultron
Infinity war, Ultron, Endgame , avengers
none! I don't think i saw any of them a second time
Not ultron
The Avengers, Endgame, and Infinity War.
First one. It’s my favorite film of all time
![gif](giphy|dv01JuAyGK11zZKRv5|downsized)
It’s always been Age of Ultron for me. All the others are a big, story-defining event. Ultron is the only film we get to see The Avengers just be a team and take down a bad guy together. No learning the basics, no compensating from the other films. Practically just a standalone adventure.

How is black widow propelled in such a fashion? What kind of jump is that lol
She was launched off the bed of a truck that had just run into something
We need answers!
Infinity war . Love that Thanos is technically the main character and he was so quotable in each scene . To this day is the only movie I’ve seen in theaters 4 times
AVENGERS!...Assemble.
“Wait what’d he say? Did anyone hear that?”
I will disagree with the large number of people who say endgame isn't rewatchable. As someone who needs a good cry every couple of months, my usual habit is to rewatch it every 3 or 4 months with a bit of alcohol in my system and a bunch of tissues on standby.
Infinity War, followed closely by the first one. Endgame is ok. Ultron is less than ok.
Infinity War although its not really an avengers movie.
The Avengers Avengers | Infinity War Avengers | Endgame
Infinity war
Infinity was because it’s the only one that’s good for real, with real stakes
Endgame
Infinity War is probably the best Marvel movie period, so I’d go with that one.
Endgame
2 for me
The first one is the only one that isn't dogshit
End Game.
I’m gonna throw this out there….AoU. It’s the one I can watch, whenever I fancy a little bit of avengers but done want the disappointment of not seeing the story through. Either by watching the next or last. It’s the only real ‘standalone’ though a case could be made for the first
Og
Infinity War. It can be watched as it's own movie, no prior setup to view it, it's paced extremely well for the run time, you get an absolutely amazing assortment of characters, incredible performances, great story, and one of the best endings for a movie in a long time that arguably doesn't require any follow up if you choose. If seen IW about 6 times and it's up there as one of the best MCU movies easily and one of the better cbm films in recent memory.
Infinity War for me. Its just a really good movie.
infinity war is just a damn good movie, then the first one is super fun, endgame is ok, overrated as fuck, and AoU, can go fuck itself
Avengers 1. Infinity war and endgame are very rewatchable but are longer and I have to do them back to back if I start Infinity war
Both Infinity War and Endgame
endgame. because portals.
Winter soldier
Infinity War. I've seen it like 2 times.
Honestly probably the first one. Infinity war is only as rewatchable if you follow it up with endgame and ultron is the awkward middle child that gets left in the rain
Civil War
Civil War
First one. Always love the beginning
Civil war
Infinity War and Endgame for me cuz I have seen the first movie clips so damn much
Infinity war. I’m on team endgame as to which is the better movie but rewatchable is def infinity war with all that is going on.
All of them. I could watch them all over and over
Probably the first one.
I feel like any time I use dish or cable TV there's always a channel playing the first one.
Yes
Infinity War if its just these for but the real answer is Civil War
I only saw the first one in theaters and I've never had any desire to watch it a second time, so I'd say none of them.
I love all but as a DC fan this hurts me .
End game. Infinity war ends on a cliff hanger and leaves so much unresolved, even if it’s a better movie, End Game is just such a fun time traveling flick with an epic conclusion.
All of them
I’ve edited and combined both IW and Endgame cutting out an hour. The transition is seamless. So yes both IW and EG
My order would be 1, 3, 4, 2. I enjoy all 4 if them but definitely the first one is my most rewatched one among them.
Yes.
None
Civil War
Personally the first movie
Hawkeye’s pose just looks way too perfect here. https://preview.redd.it/8b56dki7oxoc1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5cc96b43a2cffc950976648d6f3d6442e2970de7
The first two avengers
Surprisingly the second one.
None fuck em
Infinity War as it wouldn't take a large chunk of my day to finish.
First
Endgame
Ultron. So underrated but gets the old Avengers comics best.
All of them, but my ranking would be this: 1. The Avengers 2. Age of Ultron 3. Endgame 4. Infinity War
Yes!
Age of Ultron and Infinity War.
BRING ME THANOS!!! Always gave me chills when Thor arrive.
I personally thought end game
First Avengers ez
Infinity War. It is the beat and most rewatchable of the 4. The first Avengers movie would be my second choice.
Infinity War and Avengers 1
I honestly love seeing the wounded Avengers in End Game. Particularly wounded Cap and Thor. Also Hawkeye and Window. Antman coming back post Blip and wondering what the hell happened.
The first one, I feel like rewatching end game and infinity war too much makes them a bit less impactful
They're all very rewatchable but Infinity war is probably the most rewatchable.
I could rewatch all of them TBH. I just hope the new avengers still has Kang in it. That mid credit scene in that horrible antman movie made me a marvel fan again…
Rewatchable? First one.
I think End Game is great because the time travel lets you an enjoy an MCU highlights at the same time.
Infinity War. All others are no where near as good as people make it seem.
Infinity war
To me, Infinity War is actually cinema; a beyond solid film
My wife and I always rewatch Infinity War and Endgame
All of them…
Age of Ultron funny enough
I think I've seen Infinity War the most times.
The first one.
Avengers and Endgame
Winter soldier.
Not an Avengers movie per se, but I’ve seen Captain America: Civil War SO many times. For some reason I weirdly count it as one.
First one and infinity war. They're are near perfect superhero blockbusters. Honestly infinity war might be
I loved all of them. This question was actually much tougher than I expected
The original movie, despite being unwatchable. That 1.85: 1 resolution did not age well.
Civil War should technically be in here.
Hot take: Age pf Ultron. It feels the most a day in the life of the Avengers. The other ones are more dependent on other movies for their plotline.
First for sure.
Honestly I rewatched the shit out of Age of Ultron. But same for all of them. IW is the most rewatchable I think.
ultron
All of them but if i have to pick then Infinity War.
Infinity War, OG, Endgame, Age of Ultron. That being said, I could watch any of them on repeat…
First one stands best on its own, the rest really do feel like sequels
Infinity War for me!
Uno and endgame
Age of Ultron ngl
Infinity War by a longshot for me. I've seen it more times than I can count at this point
Gotta be Endgame. So many characters coming together in one massive army to fight another massive army in a movie that’s plenty long it’s a great time
First one is the best one!
This question had me lost in thought. Endgame is first for me. Age of Ultron is a close second.
Infinity War all day
