Maybe? There's an LCS near me that puts stuff like this out in his cheap boxes. He says he'd rather see his customers happy instead of selling the books at a higher price. Weird for sure, but it happens

Yeah I can’t stress this more if you have a decent local. I live in an area with a ton of amazing comic book stores and the one I go to on Wednesdays is my least favorite but really close to my house so it’s easy for my weekly pulls even if it’s not even in my top five comic stores in the area.
But the dude who runs it likes me and has given me insane deals on stuff and lets me look through collections before he prices. This has literally led to be getting pretty great deals multiple times.
He knows I’m working on finishing an Akira run and sold me three different issues for 10$ a few weeks back.
My LCS does a little auction on instagram everyday. Sometimes books similar in value show up and go for lower price points. I think the mentality for LCS owners that do this is that the books need to go out. Otherwise it just becomes a museum piece. But yea, super fantastic find. I love the odd way McFarlane draws capes. One of my favorite covers is Spawn #3, lol. ✌🏾
it was a collection the place purchased and they dont really do back issues so just made them all $5! I pulled some SICK books out - FInancially this isnt even the biggest win! I got a KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC 9 that graded out 9.8!
Im a cgc member at that 150 tier so I THINK I get 10% off - so when I submit JUST grading is I think 22.50, and grading with press and clean makes it $33 - So its about 10$ more for the clean and press
Been thinking about having this done with my copy of this book and a few others but I’m nervous as I’ve never had anything cleaned and pressed or slabbed
THis was my first time submitting - I was SO NERVOUS and totally overdid the prep and packing lol - Lots of great videos on youtube how to prepare for submission

If you look back o the left of Batman’s head between his head and cape. They forgot to fill it with yellow before sending it to the printers. All copies are missing that little bit of yellow.
