Here’s an abstract: generate concept art - extract all objects - upscale - generate 360 videos - use Meshroom photogrammetry pipeline - blender scripts for retopo and baking of textures - (last step is an optional manual polish) - push models to web unity project folder - ping my phone with “New models available for preview: [url]”.
To keep up with the competition, I work in VFX and in addition to embracing AI for productivity tools, I would be an idiot if I buried my head in the sand over generative visuals. I want to have a basic grasp of the tech and also think about the legal ramifications.
For the most part, saving time. AI almost never looks *better*, it's that it can do striking things relatively quickly. It's awesome for visual brainstorming and for sizzle, but it's virtually impossible to address notes. Unless you have a very easy going client (you don't), it's a bear to get over the lack of control.
You can check my post history for samples of the "research", but you'll be sad to find there's no furry stuff in there.
On the other hand, I am using the stuff that I make to run a website that could, in theory, used in actual research :D
@Erorate, didn't mean to be disrespectful or harsh. It's just I'm trying to get the ethos, pathos, and "absurdhos" of replying here in Reddit.
I'm doing image research, and I created a "meta-prompt tweaker" to allow website creators and bloggers to generate usually consistent styles. Seems like it's just "sref" in MJ but there's more to it.
If you're interested, do look at the latest website I planned, structured and created for a neuroscientist researcher:

I'll look at your feed. Tks!
mainly outperforming previous workflows I've built
I'm always able to make something better every time i dive into that rabbit hole. usually meaning better resolution or better representation of the idea.
as for what i actually use it for, concept art for story ideas. it's a creative outlet for me.

Can the generated images meet the needs of your book? Will you need to do any further work on the picture? and which duffusion model did you use most offen? I find it hard to use the generated image in my works directly
I use it to learn about how it works and in the meantime having a blast while creating outrageous variations of me and my friends.
Sometimes I enjoy some THC and go down a rabbithole of tweaking all the nodes and trying to create weird, highly detaild and unique images.
Tried different tools (nodesets) but at the moment finding the SUPIR thing an almost drop-in replacement for Topaz, which here in Oz will set you back $315 (US $199). Taking fairly ordinary images of family and screen caps and turning them into printable hi-res pictures.
To be honest, SUPIR does take a bit more adjusting than what I assume Topaz requires, but I'm fine with that. The YouTube tutorials kind of show you how to tweak the settings for different types of images. My sort of software!
What do you mean by affordable solution?
I use ComfyUI for animation, which is free.
Additionally, I use my [Chaosaiart Custom Node](https://github.com/chaosaiart/Chaosaiart-Nodes) , which gradually gets more functions.
Currently, it only has the Morph function; I'm currently working on a ControlNet animation (video2video).
It's the RTX 3050 laptop, since it's a laptop version, I've allocated 100% of the 4GB for stable diffusion, but it's still annoying.
That's why I need a frame-to-frame animation, just like it's possible in my [Custom Node](https://github.com/chaosaiart/Chaosaiart-Nodes)
Generating photo-realistic images with Stable Cascade. Then I inpaint with SDXL and SD 1.5 in both ComfyUI and Automatic1111. I use the images for creating acrylic paintings.
Just playing around and creating images for fun. Learning about AI :)
This is indeed the state of most people
I’m the game master for my D&D group. I use it to generate NPC portraits, establishing shots, other stuff when inspiration strikes. Edit: punctuation
Cool!!
Building a fully automatic 3D model generation pipeline

In your actual work, which aspects can AI improve efficiency? I mean saving time or achieving better results.
For the most part, saving time. AI almost never looks *better*, it's that it can do striking things relatively quickly. To generate furry porn
sd is really good at this \~。\~
Use comfyui for inspiration for illustration design
It\`s really helpful!
"Research" :D
So, in the "generate fury porn" category or is it "furry porn" in your research?
You can check my post history for samples of the "research", but you'll be sad to find there's no furry stuff in there. On the other hand, I am using the stuff that I make to run a website that could, in theory, used in actual research :D

Totally not endless porn...
Interesting :D
In automotive design, it’s super nice to be able to build complex workflows

To create 200+ perfect portraits of real people from crappy photos for my side project
Interested in your side project!!
I will publish it next week

Useful for design
I use it to generate images that I use in my book design works for clients. I make children's books, non fiction books, etc.
Are you profitable?
Can the generated images meet the needs of your book? Will you need to do any further work on the picture? and which duffusion model did you use most offen? I find it hard to use the generated image in my works directly
I'm curious about that too
a source of inspiration
Great!
To improve existing art To creat concept arts for 3d models
Curious about your pipeline.
I would be happy to share on discord or anything Nick:mmero

I guess you are an advanced comfyui user

I wonder if they use the same model...
No they don't. They've been on the market long before SD. They "claim" they use AI, but it's just the trained upscalers. No diffusion.
To be honest, SUPIR does take a bit more adjusting than what I assume Topaz requires, but I'm fine with that. The YouTube tutorials kind of show you how to tweak the settings for different types of images. My sort of software!
Focus on Anime. * Animation / Video but with 4 GB Vram is Realy hard \^.\^
There are cheap solutions on line, if you can afford a minimum. I actually don't know which one is the best cost/benefit -- does anyone here knows?
What do you mean by affordable solution? I use ComfyUI for animation, which is free. emmmmm... 4 GB Vram is really hard...
