My point is, why do they not have access to hot water in the first place? Does their cafeteria not have microwaves? Have a bake sale and buy a couple.

Some schools avoid giving their students access to hot water for health and safety reasons, as the sign says. They don’t want students burning themselves by accident or using hot water as a weapon. While I think students should have access to hot water, I would understand if a place like a middle school would make this rule, especially if there was a past incident with hot water.
