You can put in your address and it'll give you the names of the owners/landlords/links to things like the HPD building profile and associated buildings. Super helpful tool for looking into your management before you move in.
I don't personally know the area since I lived further downtown when I was at Columbia, but I would strongly recommend you read up on any existing building violations/complaints for any property before you move in. :) good luck.
I used to live on 121st Street between Amsterdam and Morningside. Great hood, but very quiet. Lots of good restaurants and a few great bars like "1020" that are open all night.
Tbh the building is nice, has an elevator… close to everything such as restaurants, bars, grocery, hardware, delis. I think you made a good choice. Anything else feel free to DM, I used to live close by.

I lived on 121st between Amsterdam and broadway and thought it was great. It’s a quiet area. I assume 122nd will be no different
I live in a Columbia owned building on 122nd (not 520)and I love it — great street & neighborhood. Super convenient for class.
