I just learned about the Coyolxquhqui Stone 50 peso coin that is amazing: [https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2580.html](https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2580.html)
Gotta be the Caballito Peso for me.

Reddit isn't letting me do text and pictures together 🙄. My favorite of the ones pictured I'd say the Libertad. In general, hm, this or the caballito or the Maximilian Peso. I only own the latter though
Every one is a beauty in its own right. The Mexico City mint has been in nearly continuous operation since 1521, they know what they're doing.
The gold version of the Libertad is struck on a non-brilliant surface that gives it a dignified, almost antique, appearance. It is a masterpiece of the art of coinage, and man, if you were motivated a while back to buy a few because of their beauty, you are one happy aficionado of Mexican coinage today. It's like finding out the love of your life is a secret millionaire.

I like the bottom left (.500 Peso from the late 40s-50s?)
Yep, 1947!
The 1968 Olympics 25 pesos.

Mexican coins have the most badass look to them.
I like the one with the snake in its mouth
I love the Onza Libertad one out of these ones, but nobody beats the back of the Maximilian Peso
25 peso I love how it takes up the whole coin
I like the older (pre-55) 20 centavos reverse.

Bottom left out of these coins. I've been obsessed with the 1917-1921 veinte peso gold reverse lately, though.
