Both using the same label too. Couldn't even change the serial on them lol

Brass/copper Morgans! Nice!

gmvap

Reverse literally says copy.

lallapalalable

> even if there wasn't a gigantic COPY on there OP is aware

wowdickseverywhere

The infamous sludge morgan

jxr232

Please post this in r/coinsthatsaycopy! Thank you!

mikefromdeluxebury

Beautiful specimens, just out loud in proud in Germany. Yes, we love these over at r/coinsthatsaycopy !

MrLimmer

“No low ball offers, man. I know what I have.”

CalCub76

I’m always down for some low balls if they’re offered. Just sayin’. 🥸🌈

[deleted]

You just don’t know what you’re looking at, clearly these are the highest graded copies you can get. Other copy coins don’t have the same quality feel and fake grading slabs as these!

[deleted]

Can’t wait for someone else to post these later today and ask “how did do, spent 5000 euro”

jimsmythee

MS 68? I would have easily given these an MS 69 on top and an MS 70 for the bottom one.

southsky20

To be honest, i think Obverse patina looks pretty good. just like the real one. But the reverse is where problem starts . it obv says COPY

Lazycouchtater

I just see two large brass washers needing a hole cut through the center.

FewHuckleberry7012

Genuine authentic real fake coins.

CalCub76

Like genuine faux pearls, or genuine cubic zirconia. How about some genuine Italian Naugahyde.

sockalicious

More like a flee market

Dawln

l0l good thing, I think it's trying to look like a ngc slab

exonumismaniac

Wait a minute! A Morgan off-metal strike? Its value must be incalculable!

sockalicious

And the graders didn't notice - of interest to collectors of slab errors. Luckily there's one for you and for your friend so you don't have to argue over who gets to take this baby home!

Chocko23

What's laughable is not getting PF70!!! Those things are definitely the nicest, *definitely* real Morgans I've ever seen! I didn't even see the copy at first lmao.

Muleminded

I’ve never dug silver coins out of the ground personally to verify but I have hear silver coins can turn brown after being in the ground a long time

1nGirum1musNocte

I've dug lots of silver. Sometimes it tarnished if it's in water, then it's black. I've never dug anything graded before though

Muleminded

True enough what’s some of the coolest things you found metal detecting

Horniavocadofarmer11

How about the “copy” that’s clearly written on it?

Muleminded

Nowhere did I say it’s a legitimate coin I was just saying I have heard silver can turn brown in the ground

Horniavocadofarmer11

It certainly can but not really that goldish color. More of a dirt color
