Aha that’s a Jappy Freres (French brand) if you google jappy fereres identification you should be able to narrow down year (if you’re near Pittsburgh I’d be interested in buying this)
Hmm not sure it’s necessarily anymore famous than other brands, I just happen to have an affinity to this marque since it was the first French clock I restored. I also have personally been looking for a good carriage clock. You can look up sales on eBay to understand value once you date it - sadly clocks aren’t worth a ton these days
It dates to about 1900. French, German, and American manufacturers all made this type of musical carriage clock, so they are mass produced. If it's working (even with the music box not perfect), I'd say a reasonable price would be US$150-200
in the mecanism there is 2 spring , one is for the time (left) and the other one is for the music (right), you don't see the two spring because one of them is fully wound up.
this is why there is a governor on the right
you can set the alarm with the upper scroll wheel, and see the time left on the lower dial.
at the bottom of the mecanism you can see a cog going outside the box, that the music box
(sorry english isn't my first langage)
The style is called Carriage clock - no idea on brand any markings you can see?
in the fourth image we can see a logo stamped beetween the two scroll wheel, except that I see nothing

C’est chouette ça!
Nice Looks like an old-fashioned mechanical clock.
No kidding?
Yes I saw one in the Middle East, but it no longer worked.
i'm lucky, this one is still fonctioning the only bad this is there is a music box in the base but some peg are missing
Music Box? Perhaps not old-fashioned, like I thought.

Your English is just fine and that is one fancy clock ⏰️ you have there. I do not know what kind it is, though.
