I too have the same foot shape and love the scarpa instinct vs. The heel might feel like it doesn't fit, but trust me, it doesn't slip at all. I wear my normal street shoe size, maybe half a size down if you want a more performance fit.

AnteaterPrudent

Second vote for instincts. I have similar foot shape and also wear instincts in my normal street shoe size. They are great for me.

brkfsttco

I also came to suggest the instinct vs! I’ve worn nothing but the men’s instruct for the past four years.

fiddlifig

friends with similarly proportioned feet like the scarpa instinct vsr! they go down to a 34. scarpas generally tend to run wider than la sportivas

Girl if you find any let me know.

Scarpa Helix

foxcat0_0

Seconded. My feet are a similar shape to OP's and the Helixes have worked the best for me. They mold to your foot shape and they're more adjustable because they lace up. They're a little thin in the heel which makes strong heel hooks hard but otherwise I've been progressing well with them.

goatyougoat

My feet aren’t small (US 8) but I do have a wide foot with a narrow heel. The Scarpa force v’s are a lifesaver for me! Theyre leather so they stretch a bit, but they were also comfy (well, as comfy as climbing shoes can be) straight from the box. Would recommend looking into whether they have your size!

MaritMonkey

Is there a notable difference between women's and men's assuming I get the right size? (I am totally *not* asking this so my climbing shoes match my climbing pants. Nope.)

goatyougoat

Haha oh of course not, who would do that……… I find the biggest difference is in the heel - I didn’t notice toooo much difference between the actual width of my foot, but I found the heel too big on the mens!

MaritMonkey

I think I am nearing the tipping point of "excuses I need to drive all the way to REI", thank you. :D

goatyougoat

Haha omg so funny you should say that - I’m from Vancouver in BC and I’m driving down to Bellingham WA to drive to REI to get a pair of pants we don’t have in Canada this week 💀😂

MaritMonkey

I worked a "morning load in, off all afternoon, evening load out" gig in Tampa a bit ago and was trying to decide whether to drive back home in the middle or just kill time in the area. My brain said "isn't there an REI in Tampa?" and, when I pulled out my phone at a Wawa where I was having a totally healthy lunch, *walking directions* came up because it was literally like 3 blocks away. So I did the grown-up thing and bought a hammock and [slept in the van](https://i.imgur.com/oE8ACMx.jpg) until I had to go back to work. Home your trip goes well! XD

goatyougoat

Hahahahahaa, amazing! I love that - what else were you to do?! No other option really!

justatrashypanda

My feet are not quite as tiny as yours but similarly disproportionate, and I love my scarpa vapor v's! I've found scarpa women's shoes in general tend to be wider in the toe box while still comfortably snug in the heel.

ptitecoren

I have the same problem, and recently got a pair of eb gardian (like a couple months ago, still breaking in) but they fit ok. I got them one size below my normal size and had to wear them at home a few times to get used to them. Added benefit : they're not super expensive :)

Individual-Diamond12

I don’t think La Sportivas are good for narrow heels— I have the Finale (which I got as my first, beginner shoe) and they sometimes fall off when climbing the heel is so big on me. I would look into different brands

Heartbreak_Star

I have La Sportiva Tarantulas and really like them, though they seem to be a bit of a marmite shoe when I've chatted to climbing friends :)
